A. P.We stayed here with our dog and baby for 6 weeks in September and October. We had a wonderful time and so did our dog. With a lawn outside our room and a great park next door there were always friendly dogs to keep him entertained. The small beach was also wonderful. The room was brilliant with a desk so as we could work and the kitchenette perfectly sized for eating in. The second adjoining bedroom was perfect as a nursery and we felt very secure that the baby was so close. The room was quiet for his afternoon naps.
We were worried the room would smell of dogs but it was perfectly clean and you wouldn’t know.
The million dollar view of palm trees and the Swan river was beautiful to wake up to every morning.
The wonderful manager Gary always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the rest of the staff were amazing too.
Even though we don’t live far we look forward to returning for a stay and seeing how big Molly has grown.

Love this location, always have and still do. Over looking the Swanee, catching the sea breeze, a well appointed 1 bedroom apartment with all that's needed and little bit more.
Just 1 star off as it's a tad jaded after 30 years of use.

C. T.Lovely room and fantastic view! We had a 2 bedroom apartment. There was an invisible guest with us staying who rattled bathroom does, curtain rods and tried closing another bathroom door. Not sure if it's a permanent resident or if we had a hitch hiker from our jail tour earlier that day but sure made for an interesting night! Parking is a bit tight though and not a lot there so you'll have to drive if you want to eat and drink.

A. L. M.Always read the reviews before booking....I tell myself. This was great except for the smell of the room (the carpet to be precise). This review is for a family room #19 (so might not be the same for all). Yes it's well located with lovely outlook. Basically it would be the perfect family holiday stay - location pool gym parking etc. I add a point for the leather couch as it isn't stained or odour trapping. But the disappointment is thus: as my kids said " this room doesn't just stink it STINKS" . the carpet in this two bedroom place reminds me of student sharehousing. Pet friendly also means doggy smell. I wore my socks the whole time. The bathroom is basic. The upside. Super friendly staff. Oh and the clothes rack on the balcony was also appreciated. But the smell... We'll have to wash it out of everything when we get home... It just juts you when you open the door. You mightnt notice it if you already have a smelly dog. Suggestion: put in hardwood floors at least in living area for the 2 bedrooms apartment so sweat/food/foot/other odours of 1,000 other holidays aren't captured and shared with subsequent guests. or get some febreeze?l@@€&#@?
J. B.I don’t care what anyone else says about this hotel. This hotel is a GREAT place. Best hotel. There rooms are perfect the service is perfect the staff is perfect.
I have stayed here many times and loved it, this time I had some issues of my own and I even yelled and that caused disturbance, the manager came and spoke to me. There are not many good people in this messed up society.
But the manager here is the most genuine good person, she is not only kind but very cares so much. I had explained what was going on and instead of calling cops like most people would. She had asked and offered to do something for me to help me feel better. Offered free breakfast & heaps more.
I couldn’t take advantage of her kindness though as I’m so happy to have met her. The next day I missed my Transwa bus home and she offered ($300) of hotel for me. I gave her my bond, practically still free hotel room for a night plus she put free breakfast.
She is honestly the most lovely person & the hotel is perfect. They deserve the best rating they can get.

N. C.Amazing facilities, a little dated aesthetically now, but I guess that kinda adds to its charm. Room was large and comfortable, bed was comfy as. Staff were friendly and helpful, would highly recommend. Walking distance to a vibrant food and beverage precinct.

d. w.Spacious 2 bedrooms unit with spa & pool & gym (we didn't use these though). Comfortable 2 x double size beds, sofa & chairs in the balcony. Pleasant marina outlook. Small kitchen but enough for two of us. Mini bar got everything with charge, in case you had no time to purchase. Friendly reception. Wonderful!
A. H.The apartment is well laid out and has a beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are more than helpful. The huge downfall for me is there is nothing in walking distance in relation to food. We were lucky the first day we still had our rental cars and stocked up our kitchen.

Rooms have the absolute best view over the Swan River (we commonly saw dolphins swimming about from our balcony).
Rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy.
Fantastic pool and bbq area overlooking the river.
All staff were amazing! Super friendly and happy and fixed any little thing straight away. Shout out to Garry, the hotel manager, who goes out of his way to ensure every guest has an amazing time.
Pier 21 is situated in a superb location in North Fremantle. Bars, restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. It is a 30 minute walk or $6 Uber into Fremantle city or the beach. There is a walking track along the river out front and a large grassed oval next door.
A. F.My husband and I stayed for just one night, but we’d love to come back to Pier 21 and would happily recommend it. Our room had beautiful riverside views, very clean, comfortable and with modern amenities. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional with more than just the normal buffet self serve, I ordered poached egg on a corn polenta slice with smashed avocado and it was delicious! We went for a bike ride around the river which is only a stones throw away.

The apartment was a great size, and it had everything we needed, it was one of the best get-a-ways. We highly recommend this resort, they deserve 10 stars.

T. M.Our room turned out to be very nice. The breakfasts are excellent and fresh cooked egg bacon etc. The hotel provides all the toiletries you could possibly need. Plenty of choice of cereals fruit. We had a river view room which was amazing. Transportation was offered to areas of interest.

T. M.The location was perfect for the wedding we attended on the riverfront and Mos*** park golf course. The daily servicing of the apartment kept it in immaculate condition. T. A.Booked this place on our visit to watch Manchester United play in Perth because of its layout of bedroom and kitchenette plus the heated pool and spa. Definitely lives up to its description. We arrived at 2am from red eye flight and book in system worked perfectly. However our room configuration was incorrect to what we booked. Didn't take long for them to rectify and offer us compilimnetary breakfast as Goodwill. Highly recommend this place for families and business people. Quiet residential area.
J. M.We stayed for 2 nights with our kids aged 8 and 9. Our room was 37, with a glimpse of the swan river. Our kids shared a small bedroom that had a Tv with free movies, which they loved. The spa and indoor pool was also a big hit.
We chose not to have breakfast at the property as it would have cost us another $80 plus a day. Instead we brought our own food and made use of the rooms kitchenette.
The area around is gorgeous, historic homes and clearly a wealthy suburb.
I only have 2 gripes.
1. Pillows were awful. Out of the allocated 6, 4 of them were without any form and were empty sacks and urgently need replacing.
2. The aircon is located in the lounge room and due to the apartments layout the cool air did not make it into the kids room at all, making it stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep. Our bedroom fared a little better.
I would like to stay again but I would request a different room for the above reasons.

R. S.Love the view of the river from our room on the second floor. Indoor pool and jacuzzi are lovely. Lots of gym equipment, although it's notably missing a weight bench (probably for safety reasons) Outdoor pool is freezing and actually slightly dirty. Not a lot of opportunity for the sun to heat it up, and after a hot day it's almost intolerable. If you're hardier than me though you might enjoy it! Breakfast was delicious. I had a quesedilla and added avocado and bacon which wasnt a problem and didnt incur an additional charge. Also have a continental buffet and pancake maker available which I didnt try. Beds are firm yet comfortable and I was able to sleep really well. Overall a very nice stay. If I'm in the area again I'd stay here again without question.
N. T.Rooms were Good and Clean, we really had a great time. Breakfast was free when we booked but we were asked to pay $10 for the omelette and when we were checking out they were charging us for the things we haven’t used from the bar menu.
