Friday night. Sean Roche from 6.00 to 8.30pm performing great Irish music. The dinner special was a very tasty burger with chips that includes a middy of beer and a $1 mystery bet, all for $19.95. A great deal. Highly recommended.

Jodie and Jenna were amazing bar staff, helped us out with everything we needed and the food on Sunday's is amazing! My partner and I both got seafood dishes and we we're not disappointed, especially being half price! We'll definitely be back :-)

Nice, reasonable food. But very disappointed in barmaids tonight when I complained about men swearing constantly in front of my child. They clearly had too much to drink. After they had a word with them I was abused that a pub was not a f......ng place for child etc from the drunks. Please do not market yourself as a family friendly pub. You have lost a returning customer.

Old school nice atmosphere their in house beer is awesome both the hazy IPA and the xpa are very complex and fruity, went down a treat. The lady who runs the joint is super friendly.. highly recommend.

Great hotel to spend the day for Melbourne Cup. Staff were great helping us fill out our betting tickets. On arrival given a nice glass of champagne. And the best entre and main course top notch. Now called Ric OSheas We came especially to have the Tuesday night Chilli Mussells special. They were large, plump and in a very delicious sauce. Perfectly cooked.We'll be telling our friends about these. We were absolutely delighted to have been served by Jodie. What an asset to this pub!! With her joyful, warm, welcoming personality, sense of humour, attentiveness and professionalism you couldn't ask for a better waitress/ bar staff who made the night there memorable. Went to see Filthy Habits on Saturday night. A great night. Thanks. Food really good. Did think that more staff should have been rostered on. A long wait for food, and also at the bar. People were waiting up to an hour or more to get served. Hope this will be rectified for future events.

Chicken parmi was excellent, friend's rump was a gristly bit of meat (not the kitchen's fault) but they didn't charge her for it. Very friendly service and going by the rules, think we're all just happy to be opening again. Log fires a plus too.

Moondyne Joes is our local go-to place for a family meal when we simply don't feel like cooking - usually once a month. Friendly service in an yesteryear traditional pub style dining setting which is hard to find these days. Very wholesome and expected menu. Not fine dining, but very good value for money. We keep coming back. Sports bar next door is excellent if that is your thing. Am glad this is my local.

ITS GOOD FRIDAY Who ever rostered on one chef, one staff member and two drivers. Is just EVIL. Massive shout out to the team on 10/04/20 Poor staff where being shouted at, barked at and screamed at! Good Friday is always mental for hospitality! I don’t know what management was thinking. Trying to save wages? Good job in shooting yourself in the foot!

Staff seem friendly enough. Karaoke Tuesdays: Between sportsbar and Restraunt bar Neat casual dress from 7pm throu-out premisis. Kids permitted in restraunt bar Thursdays Open Mic Night: Havent attended yet but to my knowledge its in the Restraunt bar. Fridays & Saturdays: House bands or djs will be playing in the spirts bar when renos completed... Skimpies on selected afternoons May pay to ring and confirm days /times Parking is limited but a descent carpark at rear with a 100m walk to venue Overall a great venue once renos are done I look forward to returning

Have always loved the old world decore of this venue in past years with exceptional food to match.. Sadly on this visit, visible was a mish mash of furniture. I don't think a wooden outdoor table setting is fitting in a dinning room of this era . Food on this visit was ok but I dream of the food from a few years ago that had the flavor hit we all strive for .

I found the atmosphere avery welcoming and the food was great value and very enjoyable. My salad was crisp and fresh and my guest enjoyed his chicken parmi washed down with a nice pint!

Nice bar staff, under strenuous conditions. TAB, pub, pool tables, the food is so expensive for what it is. My husband ordered wedges and they arrived double fried and burnt, with uninspired sour cream with a dab of bottled sweet chilli sauce on top, at $10 that was ridiculous. Then looked at the menu, and saw Breakfast All Day at $22. Why would I get breakfast at Moondyne's when I could go to the Ocean Beach Hotel in Cottesloe and get the same breakfast for $10 -- with a free ocean view? Chicken parma was $24. That's nearly twice as expensive than at the South Beach Hotel, for instance. Pizza for $22, could walk around the corner and go to Savioa's and get one from Italian restaurant/take-away

I don't understand why jim morrison would write a review like this. My experience at Moondyne Joes Sports bar has been fantastic. The bar manager and her staff are fantastic. Great assistence if the sport we have wanted to watch isn't on screen, not any problems to change it for us. The service is impeccable. Would love to see some sort of outside seating as it looks abit shabby with people standing along sidewalk to have a ciggie. Once again the service and sporting is fantastic

Went to moonstone Joe's for a drink and to watch mundine horn fight good staff and prices of drinks good as happy hour for part of the time but very disappointed that the large screen has not been fixed since last 2 times there for UFC fight days screen has 1 square section blacked out and very off putting usually enjoy watching Docker footy games there and this Sunday ( tomorrow ) if screen still not 100% will go elsewhere to watch UFC 232
