H. L.Stayed 1 night in a standard room. Tasfully decorated with a window spanning the size of the room. Looking out at sunset & seeing the tree tops of Kings Park was sublime. Unfortunately the kitchen is closed. They offer $50 breakfast delivery service that couldn't accept our breakfast order & they are having problems even to deliver. So unfortunitly the the morning put a damper on our experience :-/
A. J.The rooms are unbelievably tiny but it's clean and comfy. I enjoyed my stay here mostly because of the accommodating people at the desk. Might consider staying here again but probably not for the same price. If you've claustrophobia I would not recommend the Tribe.

* The bathroom is small and more like a “wet room”. There is barely a shower screen. After taking a shower the whole bathroom becomes very wet/steamy and takes a long time to dry.
Overall a good stay. We will likely stay again.

x.Didn't meet my expectations compared to other places of similar price where I've stayed at in Perth.
Rooms are tiny, didn't feel clean and the parking was expensive. Staff were very flustered and the concierge couldn't tell us the location of the nearest cafè to get breakfast from.

Especially appreciated Dan for looking after us when needed as room was hot when we arrived and aircon faulty, but Dan who got us another room where it worked. 3 stars for the room, 4 stars for sheets, towels and complimentaries and 5 stars for Dans' service!

This is my second stay because it's so convenient for me to work out of here. Buses are right around the corner.

Thoughtful little things like not requiring me to move the furniture to access power points - these are above the side tables and there are USB sockets beside them. Works for me.
N. W.First time staying at Tribe. Will stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful. I often stay at much more expensive hotels and get much worse service so keep up the great work. The rooms are compact but adequate for your requirements. I had 8th floor room with views of Kings Park which was nice to wake up too. Will be back again.

Room extremely small.
No cafe open for breakfast , lunch or dinner , very disappointing that they didn't mention it had closed pre covid.
We weren't told about booking a parking space also , so had to park on the street , which really wasn't too much of a hassle.
Had to go down & top up parking til 6pm ,free from that time til 8am.
Would I stay here again , I don't think so.
It may suit many people but not for us.

L. L.Quirky place... Day reception staff are wonderful. A good stay... Rooms different and unique which was cool. But, honestly, rooms are a bit small if you staying more than a couple of nights. Food nice, but the breakfast tables need to be set up with cutlery, napkins, salt & pepper at the actual table. Was annoyed having to chase down these table necessities while my mildly warm breakfast was suddenly was cold. Yuck!! No bins either and only one plate each for a buffet, was uncomfortable.

M. O.Miniscule room, AC rattles relentlessly, bed is dangerously high off the floor, TV suffers from massive burn-in issues making it unwatchable. On the plus side, the room was clean, has a nice view (paid extra for it) and the Wifi is fast.

A. M.Great funky hotel, decor is different which really makes this place. Our room had a floor to ceiling wall to wall window which had spectacular views. The breakfast was nice with a selection of pastries and baked eggs.
Only slight draw backs were the room size, it's quite compact. Perfect for a short stay but for me it would have been uncomfortable for more than a couple of nights. Also it could have done with being a bit cleaner. It was by no means filthy but just a bit dusty and given the slick decor it shows up more than a regular hotel.
The minor negatives wouldn't stop me staying again and would recommend a visit to anyone, as the decor sets it apart from rivals.

B. M.Very modern hotel... but the rooms are tiny! Pretty much only big enough to fit a bed and side table. Nice place to stay if you have plans during the day and don't plan on staying in the hotel. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Good location, close the CAT bus which is free into the city.

Also the pleasant touches you notice this hotel does everywhere is the conscious minimal environmental impact that’s awesome & still feels of a superior standard. Well done! We were only staying for a couple of days but breakfast was lovely, a great choice of things to have, and the option to get bits for lunch or have dinner here were greatly appreciated

J. F.Booked my hotel through Luxury Escape. The hotel lobby and bar are excellent however the rooms are quite small, too small to even open up your suit case in it. The room amenities are not there like slippers, tea, toothbrushes and even though the booking was made for two people the supplies are there for only one which was inconvenient as we had to keep asking for them. Also had issues with the air conditioner where we had to make multiple calls to get it fixed.
The way they have advertised through Escape Luxury doesn't truly reflect luxury and this does not seem to be a 4 start hotel. Although the staff are very friendly which is a bonus!

Highly recommend and it’s extremely good price for what you get. kings park is only a stones throw away so easy to unwind and enjoy nature whilst still in the heart of Perth

Service was a bit average - got one main course order wrong (tho quickly rectified it) and forgot to tell us kitchen was closing so we totally missed being offered dessert.
Very funky decor but needs a bit more atmosphere- definitely felt like a hotel lobby.
B.Had a wonderful experience at Tribe Perth. Emma & Sammy at reception were amazing. The food was delicious and so were the drinks.
The rooms are not huge but very comfortable and clean. There are plenty of USB chargers in the room as well which is key.
Will definitely stay here again and will recommend.

Hotel was spotless. Breakfast hot and plentiful. good views out in to Kings Park - which if you pick a room with a park view means you get a room on the 8th floor I think.
Public transport in the central district is free, with a bus stop just around the corner (50m) Rooms are not big, but the layout and storage is well designed - bags go under the bed, and even when i've stayed in big hotel rooms, i never use 50% of the space anyway. The beds are very soft

My favourite thing about this place was the self serve 'shop' in the lobby. Place had food,ready made meals and alcohol available 24hrs as reception was open 24hrs.

s. V.Looking for a casual restaurant on a quiet Sunday night for 4. Amazing decor, location and friendly attentive staff. Very nice meal with a slight edge to the dishes. Freshly prepared with attention to detail. can’t fault. Relaxing lounge for after dinner chat.
M.We stayed here for two days over a weekend. We enjoyed ourselves as the rooms are a little small but nice and well laid out. The beds are elevated with plenty of storage underneath for a suitcase.
There is USB chargers built into the power point by the bed which is handy!
The towels are full size sheets too, not a smaller bath towel which is excellent.
Decor is funky and stylish, lots of art and architecture books to look at in the lounge. Breakfasts are great too, with a great range. I didn’t use the bar but I did see a Pedro Ximinez there!
If the opportunity arises we will come back.

Gf loved the bathroom and the body wash soaps etc, some hip brand she loves. Solid selection of on demand movies, most were free. Free breakfast was quite hipster. Service was pretty good. Will stay again over Crown now.

Check-in was a painful experience and took quite a while. I understand the employee is new, but at least train the poor guy before letting him loose on the front desk.
No acknowledgement of being a Platinum Accor Plus member at all. No mention of a room upgrade. Oh well.
Was charged for breakfast and restaurant staff told me that Platinum members don't get free breakfast. I was charged for this on days one and two and had to take time sorting this out with the front desk.
I'm sure it'll be a challenge to get the Accor points for my stay to be credited to my account. They seemed to have no idea they actually were an Accor hotel. Very bizarre.
Rooms were great, however. About the same size as an ibis hotel room but a much better design. Housekeeping standards were excellent. Great charging points, good shower, clever design.
Breakfast was a small hot selection, but very good continental/cold selection. (Please get rid of those hipster "Sous Vide" eggs - they were awful inside and inedible, never seemed properly cooked - just have some scrambled/poached eggs). Being "allowed" one plate was a bit odd - I asked for a second one but I was told that wasn't possible. Not sure why.
Lots of street parking, good location. The English gent on the front desk was lovely and seemed to be the only one on the ball.
I'd give the place another chance, but hopefully they've fixed their staff training/Accor awareness issues next time I come back.

J. H.My Mum and I stayed at Tribe this weekend for a girls getaway. It was fantastic. We really appreciated the free movies on demand and free wifi. Our room was small, but perfectly designed so we had everything we needed, including a little desk, and a chair in just the right spot for reading in the afternoon. I got a few ideas for the design of my own apartment. One thing to keep in mind, they don't have any twin beds, so if you're staying with someone, you'll have to share.

C. A.I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this stylish little gem. They do everything really well and they aren’t at all arrogant about how great they are (they should be) The team are kind, thoughtful and friendly. The location, is central to the CBD, Subiaco shopping and the hospital.
What stood out more than anything... was the ridiculously good food and bar. I invited friends and guests to visit me at the hotel, all were super impressed. It’s only a year or two old, highly recommend Tribe, you are in for a treat!

P. P.This is my 2nd stay at Tribe on business in Perth. Great location, great boutique vibe to the hotel. Small rooms bug well appointed with a "designer" feel. Very comfortable bed and nice luxury touch's like quality toiletries. No noise issues and friendly professional staff. Good food and range of drinks with a pleasant homely (in a good way) feel in the lobby and restaurant. This stay I was given a 3rd floor "park veiw" room which looked straight into an office block hence the 4 stars not 5. I recommend paying for a "city veiw" room or make sure your on the 4th floor or above.
H. D.Nice modern hotel, right next to King's Park and close to the centre. There is a free CAT bus about a block away that goes to the centre. And there are also plenty of regular city buses that have nearby stops. The hotel also offers free bicycles.
Things I liked about the hotel is that there is food at all times available, the lobby is like a living room and the stuff was very friendly and helpful.

r.A really new hotel for a really good price in a very good location. Our friends surprised us with this hotel for our wedding gift. Hotel room is small but very cosy and adequate with usb plugs by the bed for charging and power plugs are easily reached for convenience. Toilet is small but again well equipped. Breakfast spread was ok, had a variety of cheese, toast, jam, cereal, fruits, etc. my favorite that I could stop eating was the chia seeds soaked in coconut milk. They have city view and forest view which is king’s park. Overall I will recommend to anyone on a budget.

B. F.What you think of Tribe will be affected most by your expectations! If you're expecting a lush luxury hotel stay, you'll probably be disappointed.
It's a mod concept, more like European hotels. The rooms are very small. But they are well thought out, and once you accept the very small (did I mention that?) size, have pretty much everything you need.
There is a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water, and a coffee pod machine. Bring extra pods and some milk if you're a user.
Our deal included brekky and a cheese "platter" (inverted commas required - more later) and bottle of wine. I understand that the brekky is $19 if paid for, and the value would be borderline. Everything is in tiny ramikins (sp?) and if you get embarrassed by landing up with a lot of them round you when you're done... I wasn't (-8
That cheese "platter"... This was maybe most telling of a 'poverty of spirit' that surfaced a few times during the weekend. Contents were yummy, but the quantites were only just big enough to not be ludicrous.
Certain individuals on staff were great, but most were okay, businesslike and just did enough...
I'm still in two minds - is this a positive or a negative review? Dunno.

The food down at the restaurant in good but drinks are rather expensive this is a Perth wise problem.
If parking on the street you’ll have to pay from 8am-6pm and is $4 an hour but free on the weekends.

A. S.Luxurious, contemporary and classic all in one. As cities grow larger and property becomes smaller, Tribe Perth has made use of this building to become a stylish designer hotel. Parking must be pre-booked, and is $30 AUD per night. Nearby park is free after 6PM weekday and all weekend. Room is small, however smart designs solves the issues. Highlights are: comfortable firm bed, contemporary looks, free movies on demand (except adult contents), free and actually fast wifi, decent view of the surrounding if on top floor, and black out blinds. If the rooms are bigger, this hotel would be classed as a five stars hotel.

E.Tribe has a facade of luxury and class but beneath the veneer there are a number of flaws including tiny room sizes (even on the higher tier options) and customer service is at times disappointing.. the concierge for example doesn't go above and beyond for you and the breakfast bar felt overrun by a lack of staff... Other than this, Tribe is a well appointed, comfortable and stylish place to stay.
