J. O.I loved my stay at the anchor bay motel. I booked for three nights but stayed an extra night. The room was so clean and comfortable and it had every in it to make my stay enjoyable. The staff are really lovely especially Sandra who goes beyond to make sure your happy. Thank you and I’ll definitely be back again soon ☺️
A. O.Beautiful location and lovely place to stay. The room was well equipped and had a fantastic aircon and huge TV. It was easy to find and had free parking. A stones throw from the park, water, pools and takeaway. They were lovely and very helpful when I locked myself out of my room after hours. Would definitely stay here again.
M. C.The perfect holiday getaway - our motel room and the surrounding gardens were clean and well maintained. The kitchenette includes extra items like a toaster, knife and chopping board and microwave which came in handy prepping breakfast. The perfect location being around the corner from Pelican Rocks cafe - the best fish and chips restaurant in NSW, and across the road from a great park and walking track along the waterfront. Really lovely customer service too - the lady at reception recommended Greenwell Point Bowling Club for Chinese and her favourite dish the honey king prawns were amazing! Great value for money motel I highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back.

K. B.Great little hotel, spotlessly clean with spacious and airy rooms right on the waterfront in quiet township. Good communications with friendly owner prior to arrival. In front is a fish n chippie/cafe that has consistently won best fish n chips in NSW/Aus since 2017 - can recommend seafood basket. Mattresses are comfortable and place is quiet. Waterfront walks, visit the oyster farmers and lots of great beaches close by, about 20-25 mins to northern edge of Jervis Bay. Would stay again and recommend.

A. M.We recently stayed for 5 nights in the wheelchair accessible unit. The facilities were excellent and entirely suitable for my wheelchair-bound husband and I. The inclusion of some crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster and a kitchen sink was most appreciated.
The room was very clean and comfortable; the hosts, Rob and Helen, were welcoming, cheerful and very helpful.
The motel is in a quiet village, across the road from parkland and a delightful walking path beside the Crookhaven River. The rates are very affordable. We highly recommend this property and will stay again.

J. E.A very nicely upgraded older motel. The decor and furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The room was spotless with water views from two windows. A coffee plunger and real coffee was a bonus on the well stocked hospitality tray. The cost was very affordable - we intend to visit again.
C. G.Our 7 night stay was SO relaxing. Great location, not too busy, even though it was the middle of January. Helen was friendly and helpful on the phone a few days prior to us arriving. On arrival, Rob was friendly and informative on surrounding areas and attractions. The room was awesome, we stayed in the Waterfront Room overlooking the beautiful Crookhaven River. Very clean and had everything we needed. And, the bath towels were large and fluffy. We will definately return.

Maybe because we've been stuck at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic and this was our first weekend away, but it was just lovely. The rooms are attractive, with everything you could need. The beds are really comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, everything was clean and well presented. The air-con worked to warm the room quickly, and I'm sure would cool well in hot weather. It was quiet and we had a great view of the wharf from our room. Loved it, and we'll be back again and again.

R. D.We had a three day stay in Greenwell Point in Jan 2021. We had three rooms at the Anchor Bay Motel, 2 deluxes and 1 standard. All were very clean and neat with fresh bedding, crockery, and appliances. The air con was very efficient and easy to use and thick curtains allowed for sleeping in. In our family group we were 7 people and ranged in age from 91 down to 10 years old. All our rooms opened onto a raised verandah where the family could gather easily (the deluxe rooms have comfy padded chairs while the standard had a little picnic table with benches). The native garden at the front of the rooms is very pretty and attracted birds that were fun to watch. I would definitely recommend this motel. Greenwell Point is a lovely low key town. There is no surf beach but the local pool was great for a dip. There is a pretty foreshore walk and little strips of beach where you can paddle. A great kids playground. Lots of pelicans! The long soup at the Chinese restaurant in the bowling club is delicious!

For the money, it is a well appointed, very clean room with a number of extra touches ... the ground coffee and coffee plunger in the room was rally appreciated. Great views of the bay from our room and the staff are very friendly and helpful in providing ideas of places to see.

Small suggestion - perhaps a Recycling bin/box could be available in the room (particularly for longer stays).
It was a nice break after all the pandemic restrictions.

Very helpful and equipped with lots of informations on the area including sightseeing and where to eat.We were very impressed with the room. Very clean and the bed linen were pure white, has a kitchen with all the necessary utensils and a nice view of the water.
We will defintely stay there again and will highly recommend the Motel to all our friends.

M. H.What can I say??? Rob and Helen, very friendly, helpful owners. We had a great room which was spotless. It had a mini kitchen, which had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and had good manchester on them. Right next door to the top seafood restaurant where you can also get breakfast. Highly recommended by this couple.

C.My wife Brenda and I stayed at Anchor Bay for 4 days. first met Helen, she was very helpful and full of local information which we found very useful,and visited most of the places mentioned,we had a great Birthday celebration meal at the nearby Butter factory Restaurant.The motel room had everything which we needed,it was spotlessly clean,very modern and our room had a balcony with a great view of the CrookHaven Heads ..Thanks Helen for a great stay..
M. H.Quite possibly the absolute cleanest motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in with some of the best service. Upon arrival greeted by the friendliest bloke who gave us some very good tips about the area. Local beaches, dining etc...Our room was simple and very clean- exactly what every motel/ hotel should be like. I will most definitely be coming back here to stay again and explore the area a little more. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would. Location was also good, very close to pub, bowling club- a 5 minute drive to a FANTASTIC restaurant called the butter factory (which was recommended to us by the man at reception) over all excellent experience.

J. C.It's a great motel on a great location with remote water view across the windows. It's facing North so the room is sun filled in the morning. The front deck of the house is sun-drenched, it's quite pleasant to sit there & relax. It's 2 mins walk to the wharf and a little short stroll to the local CBD area. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. But there are a few issues. Bathroom is freezing cold (bedroom is warm with air-con running), it will be great if you put some heating light / heating hanging bar / potable heater in there. TV can be turned on but can't be turned off, we have to disconnect the power. Microwave oven is very difficult to use, it will be good to have an instruction provided. Also, internet is slow. But overall, we have enjoyed our stay.
