J. F.A big shout to the chef tonight who created an amazing meal for me. My meal full of flavour, well presented. You can absolutely taste the love put into it. If you're looking for a place to dine, this is definitely the place to come too. Also a big shout to the bas staff whoo great you with a smile upon arrival and are very attentive. Thank you have all made feel at home away from home. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quality meal and great service.

Apartments have plenty of space, good quality utensils, comfy furniture and tasteful artwork. The heated pool is great and suitable for all ages. Has a gym and games room which are reasonable. Grounds are well kept.
M. A.We have stayed twice around 3years ago and again last week. On both occasions these were a quick overnight stop on route home.The resort grounds were very nice and appear well kept. On our arrival to the the appartments there were laundry bags everywhere on the pavement that were not collected and still there on our departure. The apoartments are under furnished, very few kitchen utensils or plates etc. Not even a coffee table paired with the sofa. The WiFi did not work in our apartment on this most recent stay. The bathroom in our most recent stay was a full disability bathroom that was very sparse, walls covered with grab handles everywhere, not even a bathroom vanity unit. I felt like i was in a hospital room, i would not stay in this apartment #5 again. Its not what we were expecting nor was it disclosed at booking or at the key pickup. The appartments appeared clean and tidy on both of our stays, fresh towels sheets etc that worked well for a single night stop over. The appartment lacked privacy from the road, the window beside the front entrance door had no window coverings offering full view into the apartment. The beach is about a 500m walk across a swampy creek and over the sand dunes, not so great for swimming. The cost was excessive at $220 per night for a single room apartment and a week later the security holding on my credit card has still not been released.

S.Despite reading the reviews prior to staying, although I had already booked before reading them, I was a little hesitant, however once we opened the front door and toured the villa, we were amazed! The place was clean, beds were fresh, the air-conditioning worked a charm, except I don't think the heater worked well in the main bedroom, but as a bonus, the view from the balcony was mesmerising! My husband and I look forward to our next stay, hopefully we can check out the bar there. 😊

5. B. i. a. b.The apartment was clean on the surface, however definitely not cleaned properly. Both bathrooms had mould growing and the spa bath was not functional.
The internet didn't work the whole time we were there and neither did the phone to call reception or room service. We notified reception and no attempt to fix it was made. Unfortunately we didn't get good mobile phone reception in the apartment at all. So the resort wifi working would of be amazing.
The resort did have a small beach within walking distance. The beach was mostly pebbles instead of sand (were we went anyway, the other end of the beach did look like it had sand)
The apartment layout was 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The main bedroom had an ensuite. Upstairs was a lounge room with the only TV in the apartment, a dining area and a working kicthen. The items in the kitchen to cook with were very basic although they did have a fridge/freezer, stove, oven and microwave. Every room in the apartment had a small split air-conditioning unit (both hot and cold air).
T. B.What a lovely place for break. Spacious apartment and excellent facilities. We booked one night to stop over on the way to the Gold Coast and stayed in a garden view apartment.
We loved it so much, we booked 3 nights on the way back to Sydney and canceled our other accommodation.
The beach is amazing and an excellent walk.
Some harsh reviews online, however we experienced lovely staff and an excellent place.

S. C.This was my second stay, and I probably didn't enjoy it quite as much as my first. The apartment this time was dated, and there was water damage in the bathroom. The coffee table also still had mug marks on it. It was also a bit annoying none of the downstairs windows had fly screen, so I couldn't open the windows to cool the place down in the evening However the facilities are good- well equipped kitchen, and they provided fresh milk and a washing machine and dryer. There is a pool and the beach is right on the doorstep. Good value for money, and good for family holidays.
R. S. J.Stayed here 2 nights with my 3 children while looking for houses to move down to NSW. We were only in the apartment of an evening. It was 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom. It was pretty mediocre. It served our needs at the time, but definitely needs some maintenance and better cleaning. There was carpet lifting up/missing where it meets the lino in kitchen. The rangehood was broken bit worked, and in desperate need of a clean. There was an odd smell I just couldn't put my finger on. While making sure nothing was left behind, I looked under the TV cabinet and it was dirty and had bits of food and a dead cockroach. On one of the shelves, it had a drawer that just would not stay closed. We didn't use the pool as it's winter and didn't bring swimmers. Didn't know it was heated til I checked in, it got mentioned. All the remotes were missing the backing, exposing the batteries. My youngest is 1 year old, so this is a choking/safety hazard. We got a garden view, and were impressed at being able to see the ocean also. Though, I don't think that palm trees count as gardens. It's a lovely spot and location. But the place needs work and to be refreshed.
M. W.Past its hey day. Good size villas with most things you need. Resort needs a paint and general tidy. Photos on website make pools look a lot bigger and whole resort a little better than it really is.
M. R.Ok for overnight. Don't do it for longer stay. Cheap but not worth the effort having to get the required items you expect to already be provided from reception for a 4 star resort.
Our booking was for 4 people for a long stay. Room only had 3 chairs for diner table, no breakfast bowls and limited other mismatched crockery. Cooking equipment was sparse at best. Carpet was frayed. Beds were made with sheets and mattress protectors, no bed covers, no spare linen or blankets. Good thing the air conditioners were working.
At best I see this place at 2.5 to 3 star.
C. S.Inside the apartment room was spacious and clean. There was only one set of outdoor chairs when we had two balconies so another set would have been better. We had a great view of the ocean from the front balcony.
The restaurant meals were really nice, the staff were friendly and the view from the restaurant was beautiful.
The outside of all the buildings is very tired and is in desperate need of updating.
The pool is a good size and the water was warm but again it was looking very dated. There was a shortage of chairs/tables/umbrellas around the pool. There was only 3 families at the pool and we all had to share the few pool lounges that were available.
The access to the apartments is not great either if you have a pram etc as you have to go up several flights of stairs (there is no elevator).
We assume the putt putt was along the beach side? However if that was it, it looked heavily overgrown and I would not call it a putt putt course.
This place could be amazing with some updating. Air con in the games room should be a priority and a revamp to the pool area.
J. &. E. B.The resort is in a beautiful party of northern NSW with an amazing position on the water front. The booking staff were very accommodating and helpful especially as we were delayed 6 hours, by providing after hours key pickup and a highlighted map to the room (sometimes those little things make life just that bit easier).
However the rooms were the biggest let down. The beds were ordinary, the kitchen was barely stocked with any cutlery or crockery. The sofa bed we needed to use for our 6 year old was impossibly uncomfortable (not that could have had anyone sleep on it as the was no curtain to hide the sun rise at 4am).
C. A.There are some pretty bad reviews on wotif and some stuff is correct. My sliding door doesn't lock but it's on a hard to reach balcony. The cabinets in the bathroom have water damage and could really use replacing but they aren't that bad. The air con in the main room doesn't work which would have been a problem in summer but not this time of year. Otherwise the room was clean, the bed comfy and the location is excellent

Location isn't great if you have things to do in Coffs. Close to beach. The petrol station next door is very handy for snacks and essentials. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Noticed a games room but there's a lot of out of order equipment.

There's free wifi that doesn't work at all, you literally have no connection what so ever.

R. S.An older resort, but very comfortable and good value for money. The bathroom in our unit needed some TLC with water damage around the window, some cracked tiles and stained grout, but the air conditioners were quiet and efficient, the rooms well equipped, and the bed was excellent. The buffet breakfast is great value for the price.
E. B.Amazing location right on the beach, You can hear the ocean while you sleep. We paid the same price for a 2br townhouse with fully equipped kitchen and spa in a resort, as the run down noisy nasty motels through Coffs wanted for a standard 4person room. Why would you ever stay in a motel here??? Crazy!!! This was truly one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had and at an incredible price ($120 per night in winter). It’s a bit run down, but what would you expect for this price?? Still infinitely nicer than anything else in Coffs available in this price range. Had everything we needed, toiletries, sparkling clean, heaps of spare towels and bedding. Only downside was old carpet, needs a paint, no breakfast available, and fridge looked like someone attacked it with a baseball bat ;) Still well worth every cent. Give it new paint and carpet and it would be a $500 a night accommodation for sure. 5 mins north of central Coffs and so nice to be away from the noise and traffic. Great facilities for kids and truly magical location no matter the time of year. Highly recommend!!!
A. M.Easily accessible just north of Coffs Harbour and only a street away from the highway. Each apartment has its own designated parking spot (although ours was extremely difficult to get in and out of). The apartment itself was clean apart from some ants on the kitchen bench. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but for a one night stay, was nothing to complain about. The breakfast cost $15 each but it was buffet style with a choice of cereal, toast, pancakes, fruit and cooked bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns. Well worth the cost. Didn't use any of the other amenities (gym, pool or recreation centre) as it was a short stay. The view was lovely and the resort gave off a family friendly vibe. I would recommend this place for a short stay.
T. C.Great resort. Excellent villas. Nice and clean with superb ocean views from the upstairs area of our villa. Comfy bed and the villa also had a spa. This particular villa could have done with white paint rather than dark blue painted walls to brighten it up but that's just personal preference. Resort has a great tropical vibe.

B. D.For a stop over night we booked a $130 Tuesday. Absolute value for that money in a 2bdrm apartment garden view (still had an ocean view from balcony) with lots of space, wifi, parking, spa bath, air con in lounge and both rooms, 2 toilets, laundry, kitchen and 2 tvs near the ocean. Couldn't get the oven to work, beds were okay, front outside light was out which made getting in with 2 little kids and bags in the dark a bit difficult and later 2nd bathroom light blew out. I imagine this all could have been sorted with staff but we were only staying one night so didn't ask. For the price would definitely stay again!
A. M.Convenient for overnite stay, not 4 star. Rooms need renovating and bit smelly. Main bedroom ok, 2nd bedroom small, uncomfortable hard beds, no bedside lamp or switch close to beds to turn off main light, no coathangers or place for case. Put up an ironing board to rest our clothes on. Nowhere to put wet pack, toothbrushes, etc in bathroom. Corridors and doors into rooms, and Windows very dirty.
On the positive, clean bedding, non slip bathroom flooring. Good view out to sea from outdoor balcony.

d. m.Really neat two storey accommodation with parking at front. Very easy access to beach and a resort style pool, BBQ area and tennis court. Good for families. Far enough away from main Coffs Harbour area to feel like you are genuinely at a resort. With apology to all - I ate some of the nasturtium flowers that are down by the beachfront.
D. C.The beach connected to this resort was spectacular! Though the sand was not pearl white, but you would find a different feeling of the sand. It was filed with zillions of small, tiny and smooth flat pebbles. The blue sea was mesmerising. The sound of the waves were just so relaxing. The last day we stayed there, we saw a club of whales were playing not far from that beach. The resort worker was very friendly. We ran out of dish washing powder and they gave us more packages than we need.

U.We really enjoyed our stay at Aqualuna, however, our first impression was that the gardens needed a good clean up and prune, it was very difficult getting into our parking bay, and our parking bay had old leaf and rubbish from the garden, it would not have taken much to clean it up, it had obviously been there for a long time. The bathroom was very outdated, grout need a good clean, furniture was good except for the shocking old stained plastic table on the patio, not what you expect when paying big dollars for an apartment. The lawns were very infested with bindiis, again not a great look for such an exclusive place. However watching whales from our balcony was certainly a highlight, just one other thing, the blanket in our wardrobe was stained and filthy.
M. J. (.Rooms are comfortable and warm, a bit dated. Beds were comfortable. Our fold out bed was not made and we did not have linen when we arrived but reception were quick to supply us with fresh linen.

C. G.This is the second time we have stayed her unfortunately this time is just one night! The apartments are neat and tidy and will suit a family with 2 kids. The resort has a bbq, pool and off course is close to Coffs Harbor. The only drawback is the main bathrooms in both of our apartments are looking tired. A lot of this has too do with the design though. On a whole this resort is a great location to use a base to explore the Coffs coast òr to sit and be lazy. But, when they say they gave a gym, don't be fooled- it's not a gym but a single piece of equipment! But who needs it when on holidays. .

For the off-peak price of $120 a night, I can't complain, but the reception woman is absolutely people unfriendly, almost to the degree of being rude, and the facility in the room is very basic. Only one mug, 2 different wine glasses, etc. If I had been paying the school holiday rate, I wouldn't have been too pleased.

I received a very warm welcome from reception and all the necessary information to help with my stay. Luckily, was upgraded from a 1b/r Ocean View to a wonderful 2 b/r Ocean View- Unit #23 is the most private of all, being the closest to the beach and no-one looking into the 2 storey apartment.
D. P.Rooms were clean and tidy but in need of some work to fix the small things. Very good for a one night stop over orna longer stay. Very close to the water and not far to the major shops.

c. e.This was the perfect place for my family of 5 it had plenty of space in all rooms the convenience of a kitchen and laundry and was close to everything we needed, the balcony was safely enclosed so our toddler could join us outside in the sun and listen to the waves on the beach which is a 2 minute walk down the path, the pool was safely enclosed and clean it was also heated so we were able to enjoy it even in cooler weather we will definitely be back soon

I.It's not the best, it's not the worst. The wild Turkeys are cute but the beach is trash and the rooms can feel very small at times.
