These people are what the hospitality industry is all about. We arrived in Belmont late at night, I had my elderly parents with me. We had pre booked another hotel which upon arrival turned out to be something resembling a Thai prison cell! The lovely owners of the Belmont came from their home late at night and gave us a lovely room! So nice! Thanks so much!

3 minutes ago on Google Staff at this motel were super friendly, helpful and understanding about a later than expected arrival and then two lost cyclists in the morning! They couldn’t have been nicer and the room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and far surpassed our idea of a budget hotel. We didn’t realise our card had been charged the evening we arrived so paid in the morning but the manager was quick to ring later in the day and explain the error and organise a refund. Looking forward to another stay here next time we are in the area.

Staff very friendly and while the room was clean, it was also very "tired". My car was parked in front of the room, normal for motels, however the guttering located on the roof above that room was damaged and when it rained heavily, I couldn't access my car.

Very neat and tidy place. Comfortable Queen bed plus single bed. Shower and bathroom very neat, ample hot water for shower. Though near highway could not hear traffic noise. Enjoyed great stay and very helpful staff.

We were greeted by the owner of the motel who made us feel right at home. Our room was simply but elegantly decorated and the bed was comfortable. We welcome the opportunity for an after dinner dip in the pool before retiring for the night. Forgot your bathers? No problem! The owners have a small array of suitable swimwear available for purchase at reception. We look forward to returning here on our way back home.

Very Nice Motel. Positioned on the main road leading North into Newcastle. An older Motel with anything you could need. It does have the Retro feel to it . But you will feel very much at home when you stay here. The management are Very Friendly. Nothing is to much trouble. Large size Swimming Pool is a bonus. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely fabulous !... stayed here a couple of weeks ago by coincidence.. I was driving back from shoal bay and decided to stop on the way back to Sydney. As I drove up I got greeted by Scott the manager who was super welcoming and lovely had a good chat too him .. looking around I just felt so amazed by the architecture the pool the palms and all of the detail put into the outdoor and reception area. The pool was clean with a perfect BBQ area and some amazing disco tunes playing in the background.. Upon entering my room I was again pleasantly surprised by the clean stylish interior , polished wooden floor, super functional kitchenette, mega comfy bed, clean beautiful bathroom shower... I ended up staying another extra day just because I loved it so much .. there is lots to do in the area and beautiful beaches. I can't wait to go back. Good work Scott in making me feel like at home. Thank you !

Had a great stay here with my family last week. The kids, mrs and I really enjoyed the pool and bbq area. Our room was very spacious (2 bedrooms and lounge room) and the beds were very comfortable. The owner Scott was really helpful and friendly and always made us feel welcome. We felt right at home for the short time we were there. Will definitely be back.. Dan and Renee

Came with two dogs after car broke down. The managers Scott and Karen invited me to soup and wine around the pool at night. I had an awesome time. The room is spotless, beautiful art and lamps, it has a kitchenette and is modern. The pool is enormous and they have a yoga area at the back under some enormous pine trees. I was picked up by Brad who works there and also met Kurt the owner and had a laugh. Lovely atmosphere! The bed is luxurious. Outside you can hike to secluded beaches and of course you are on Australia's biggest salt water lake.

Was OK. We stayed in the 2 bedroom lot - rooms were spacious, bathroom was good sized with large shower but only enough toiletries for 1x person, no soap supplied to wash hands. Kitchen area could be improved, no washing liquid, sponges nor tea towel left to clean plates, cups or utensils. Beds were not very comfy. Overall ok for 1 night but would not stay again.

Best motel we’ve ever stayed at, and the staff were amazing- really friendly, and super helpful. Incredible value for money, more like a hotel than a motel. Will definitely be coming back. Would recommend anyone going to Newcastle for a holiday to check these guys out. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent wee stay at this Motel. Booked last minute with the owner Scotty at Easter and he couldn’t have been any nicer or helpful to us. Great pool and outdoor area for day and night time and the rooms clean and cosy. Will definitely be back here again and have recommended to friends already.

So impressed with this recently upgraded motel. Fantastic value for money. Stayed 1 night in a lovely clean well appointed room. Friendly owners. Near the old Highway and a tad noisy in front rooms if you are a light sleeper but would definatetly come back.

We had a lovely welcome & stay at Belmont Palms. Scott & Karen are the vibrant characters that have worked hard to create a mid-century Scandi chic motel with updated, clean, and comfortable furnishings. With its high peaked entrance and easy access driveway, you will be reminded of a time when motels were places of rest and recreation for travelling singles, couples and families.

My Husband and I enjoyed our weekend away for Our 21st Wedding Anniversary here at Belmont Palms on the 17 and 18th March 2018..We were greeted by the Owner Scott in a very Friendly Manner..It was truly lovely and relaxing..Rooms were modern..clean and smelt very fresh..Bed and Pillows so clean and comfy..Bathroom and Towels Hygenicaly Perfect..It was spotless as well as the room..Lovely decor..Kitchen and Appliances all clean..Air Con worked Well as it was a really hot weekend we also enjoyed the pool right outside our room..Hubby and I enjoyed a few Cold Beverages on a Timber Chair by the Office one night and watched the World Go by..The Motel must be a real credit to Scott the Owner..Will be coming back real soon..Thanks again Scott for a Enjoyable Weekend!
