S. j.Our getaway to Blueys Beach staying at Blueys Retreat was fantastic. Clean accommodation beautiful gardens and best of all a pool for your use to. Our accommodation was near the office & pool areas. A stroll to the shops and back is not to much if ones in a wheel chair . With a footpath that’s smooth. Blueys Retreat also has a club house for use for the kids and tennis court for use for any staying guest. Our host Nathan was absolutely helpful and very pleasant. Thank you Blueys Retreat staff and management for a wonderful getaway 🙂•
K. P.Exceptional level of customer service given by the owners Nathan and his wife. I truly can not deal highly enough of their ‘go the extra mile altitude’ something you done see often anymore.
The 2 bedroom cottage was absolutely spotless and everything was in good working order. The beds were very comfortable and all linen was supplied.
The pool was clean and the spa attached to the pool was lovely and warm.
The grounds are beautifully kept and only a short stroll to the local shops.
A lovely tranquil place to visit. I totally recommend staying here only 20 minutes out of the hustle and bustle of Forster.
Nathan even manage to arrange some hours where it didn’t rain during a two week span of heavy rain forecast.

K. W.I just wanted to share with everyone that we booked a 3 bedroom townhouse for 2 nights and the place was better than the photos. We had an amazing stay because it was clean and cosy. I was very impressed with how clean it was, not one hair in the bathroom. We will be going back ASAP!!
J. G.We had a nice stay the staff were friendly and attentive and we definitely got value for money. But it our stay could have been great and so wevoffervthe following suggestions fir improvement. The inclusions are a bit basic for a 4* resort in this day and age. We stayed in Unit 3 in Feb 2022. The rooms are huge and the TVs are tiny. There is very poor mobile phone coverage and the included wifi is slow and erratic (this was both a probjem and a blessing). The bedrooms did not have a/c and were north facing so became very hot the fans helped a little but better external and internal window coverings would make these rooms much more comfortable. There were cockroaches in the ensuite. This is common in warm humid locations but infestations can easily be prevented by the use of surface spray and baits.
Would stay again.

L. O. M.A last minute find on our road trip holiday. Nathan and all the team went out of their way to make our stay at Bluey's Beach a memorable one. The spacious townhouse was impeccably clean and fresh with all the amentities anyone could need. Our kids loved the tennis court and outdoor hot spa after a winter swim at one of the number of close by beaches. It was amazing exploring the surrounding beaches, lakes, national parks and small town cafes and shops. We will be back again one day.
j. m.Lovely quiet family friendly place. Pleasant pool and tennis courts very comfortable villas. Disappointed to find our outdoor eating area was NOT insect screened as advertised. No discount was offered for this lack. Kitchen was great and well appointed ted. Beware LOTS of stairs both external and internal. Not disability friendly and would be hard with very young kids. Overall we would go again.
K. O.The perfect spot for a few days, pool was lovely and clean, my son enjoyed the pool table in the club house and just a short bike ride to cafes and shops. The villa was very clean and spacious with everything we needed to self cater. We are looking forward to returning!

N. C.What can i say but a great place, clean, fresh and beautiful. From the moment of check-in to check-out, everything was well maintained, great facilities and friendly staff. Even got a few visits from a big Iguana out back.
The three bedroom house was beautiful, and i would certainly recommend this place for a quiet relaxing stay. Will be back again soon i hope.
S. M.The appartment(2-story) was more spacious than expected and on the surface well equipped but it felt damp and had mould on blinds and outdoor cushions etc. Mattress in main bedroom was bottomed out and so were the lounge cushions. The place needs a bit of attention.
L. M.I have been there four or five times. The place is great. Th houses are spacious and clean. We could live there. The amenities are perfect.
It is quite, safe and relaxing.
The beaches are amazing. There are plenty of things to do around the area. Lovely cafes and some local shops. It is near Foster where you can shop, so no need to bring anything.
They have a new management, the older managers were good but the new ones are even better.
Take your bikes, games and beach equipments and have fun!
V. L.Spacious rooms, clean with all the amenities. The kids loved the open space and wanted to stay longer. It was really enjoyable sitting on the verandah with a glass or two looking into the bushland. The pool is great and the water is relatively warm. The beach is beautiful and just a short drive away. One of the down sides is that some taps are quite tight and need to be tight to stop dripping.
A. S.Great accommodation in a beautiful location. Our group enjoyed a 3 night stay and were warmly welcomed by Nathan, Vanessa and their team. Lovely houses, very clean and beautiful gardens. Good sized pool and a quick 5 minute walk into the village / beach. We shall return!
T. F.The staff at Blueys are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, clean and comfy, and so well thought out. I didn’t get a good look around as I was staying for a work function, but judging by the happy looking guests I saw and the fact is was busy even in the off season, Blueys is the place to stay!

A. P.Great location and accommodation! There are small shops nearby. The beach nearby is beautiful, a great place to relax. Small Tip: if you need more items from your larger grocery stores, you'll need to get these before you arrive or go to Forster which is about a 20 minute drive.
C. M.Spent a fantastic long weekend at Blueys Retreat over Easter. The houses are nice, big and comfortable and has a nice deck and bbq out the back. Nice and close to a few amazing beaches, shops and cafes. We can’t wait to come again.

- Cleanliness is not great AT ALL if this is important to you.
- Hairs on mattress protector
- Bugs EVERYWHERE
- DUST EVERYWHERE
- Spider webs all over high ceiling
- Dead bugs all over the place
- No basic ammenities eg tea and coffee
- No spare towels
- No AIR CONDITION UNIT IN ANY HOUSE
- Had to call back owners to clean toilet. Turns out cleaners are new and having teething problems. Owners cleaned up best they could straight away
- Kids dirty handprints all over windows
- poor attention to detail in cleaning
P. M.It is a great place to visit with the family. Kids enjoyed the club room, playing tennis and swimming in the heated pool. Townhouse was clean and well maintained with the great outlook. We spotted many whales at the beautiful nearby beaches.

A. N.Nice place for a weekend getaway, or even longer. The beaches are beautiful all around. The houses are well equipped for a bbq and ther is a jacuzzi to relax in the evening. You might not have mobile receptuon at all with certain carriers like vodafone but optus is fine. Wifi reception was not great.
