U. M.Staff is fantastic and super accomodating and facilities are clean. Awesome location too. If you are after something quiet though, don't stay here, it's party central. They kindly provide earplugs though.

The fact that there’s a job board updated daily for those who want to work is the best aspect of the hostel.
G. m.I stayed at this hostel for 7 months until I found a place in manly and it was heartbreaking for me to leave this place.
The hostel is far from being a 4 stars hotel but this is exactly what I was looking for, a place that feels like home. I met people that I happy to call friends now and share the best experiences I had in Australia with them.
If you come to this place to stay in your room and don’t want to meet people you won’t have a good experience. But if you are open minded enough to talk to the people that are staying there you will have the greatest moment.
This hostel is all about sharing and enjoy the moment.
I truly hope that all the backpackers that will go there will have as fun as I had for those 7 months.
b. a.This hostel is one of the best things that ever happened to me !
- the location is amazing, just a few steps away from Manly Beach and in The Corso, where you can walk and check out restaurants, bars, coffee shops, clothes shops, and enjoy the Market during weekends. Beautiful and peaceful place.
- the staff is the best! Everyone is willing to help with whatever you need, there is FREE BREAKFAST, the common area, kitchen, hallways, and rooms are cleaned every day and one can notice and enjoy that. It’s so nice to be in a place that everyone cares and respects.
- the vibe is beautiful ! There is a common rooftop where people make barbecues, enjoy the sun (even in winter), listen to music and share.
People are really nice, I feel Im home and surrounded by family 💛
I’ve met friends who I travelled with and met again in different places of the world. This place is magic ✨.
F. D.This is a really nice place to stay in Manly. The location is great, next to all the shops and only 2 minutes away from the beach. It is a nice place to meet people, hang out, have some talks and go on adventures. There is a lot of space to hang out with your friends and the rooftop deck is amazing. You have a nice view of Manly. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable.
R. R.I'm actually really enjoying being at this hostel, its is not the cleanest, the kitchen is messy - the rooms are messy.. but its a nice vibe. People friendly, very relaxed atmosphere. Its partly a party hostel, the staff seem to be residents there so there is no feel of 'a boss' or 'strict manager', and it seems to work well.
The staff are very laid back and they double booked my room (which I think is a common things that happens) however they are friendly and easy going , with a smile on their face, and make an effort to make things right.
Even tho it is a bit crappy in someways, I liked it enough to want to stay another week and I feel happy there.
Its very close to the beach also (100m or so)
D. S.Awesome hostel, people and location. There's surfboards at the hostel and already found 2 friends who are teaching me how to surf!
It's exactly on the main street, where everything happens and all kinds. I see them improving everyday and the staff is doing their best of making this a nice experience.
T. M.The staff and people are so friendly and welcoming especially when you have just landed from a long flight. As for the rooms they are a good size and I was lucky enough to have my own balcony that looked over ***ly corso. I went back down and said sorry but there is guys in my room.

T. M.The rooms were adequate but take your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at check in. Ive met the most wonderful and diverse people and it felt like being a part of a big family. Will always come back to this place, it's amazing.
K. M.This is a decent hostel in a great spot right next to Manly Beach. The place has a nice vibe and a good social scene, with a cool roof terrace where there is a BYO bar and they have BBQs every Sunday, as well as being right near to lots of bars and restaurants. The dorms are recently renovated and have plenty of lockers and power points, and there are surfboard racks available if you're in Manly to surf! It sometimes gets a little messy (like most backpackers), but there are always lots of cleaners on hand and the staff are always helpful and responsive if there are any problems.
T. M.The location was good. In the morning you can spot some cockatoos on the balcony and enjoy the view on the corso and the sea, watching the waves rolling in. I have no idea how this place is open unless all the guests are blind and have no sense of smell.
M. D. P.The location of the hostel is the best: meters away from the beach, and located in the Main Street with all the shops, restaurants and bars. It counts with free breakfast in the morning and also has a job centre where you receive lots of jobs opportunities everyday :)
P. T.Awesome atmosphere! Common areas are open 24/7 and away from most of the rooms which is just the perfect place to chill and be social. And the best thing.. the people!!
T. M.I stayed at Boardriders as a solo backpacker looking to meet new friends and have a great time in ***ly, and I certainly did. The location is great, just a stones throw from the beach and everything that you need on your doorstep. I found all of the people staying there friendly and approchable. The night ***ager was great.
B. T.The best hostel in Sydney. 1minute away from the beach or 15 seconds to a bar or restaurant. If you'd rather stay in - you can enjoy the company of one of the lovely guests from all over the world upstairs on the rooftop bbq/party area that is open for guests all hours. From $35 dorm room accommodation (4 - 8 bed configurations) up to $125 for a deluxe private room with ensuite and balcony overlooking Manly Corso and Manly Beach.
P. H.The location is absolutely wonderful. Prices are very good but it is a hostel, so don't expect too much. We stayed in an ensuite room which is still cheap but a lot clearer than the shared hostel rooms.
T. M.All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. All employees seem sincere to have you as a guest. The price is good compared to the standard. We found the experience to be thoroughly enjoyable from the time we set foot in the hotel till we left.
T. M.There are always people around so you can share food and chill out in the common area. Theres always something going on, and the rooftop is a perfect spot for hanging out with friends or to enjoy the sun. We werent naive enough to think that it would be peaceful but we were kept awake by yelling and jumping directly above our room.
T. M.There is a new ***ager called laura. The people here are really friendly and they will feel like you are a part of a big family. Behind my door was a nice big sign explaining how burglars often visited so be careful with your belongings. Rooms were clean. Close to the police.

T. M.All the doors are proped open so you can see into rooms piled with crap, people laying around drinking/smoking/having sex people ran around the building all night yelling and screaming. I met some of the best people ever and made life long friends. The understanding of the morning shift workers.
