Room renovated beautifully. Staff friendly. Room service available including cooked breakfast. Restaurant available all but Sunday & Monday nights so didn't get to use it. Beautiful views. Large property to stroll around, with horses next door.
I am a light sleeper so did hear the trucks on the highway and the freight trains in the night but wouldn't let that deter anyone as the motel is set in quiet away from the road on lovely grounds. Pool looked lovely too, raining for me so didn't try it myself. Staff were helpful, free sealed jug of water supplied, cookies and tea/coffee refilled daily and Room cleaned/serviced as much as you require (I left at 11.15, left the card on my door, came back 1 hr later, bed made, towels replaced, as was tissues and all amenities) All soap, shampoo, shaving cream, shower hat etc all supplied. Streets icecreams sold at concierge. And I got a great price on the booking.com app, and my message to anyone is if someone else is $20 cheaper it's not worth it for the comfort and space and cleanliness and service offered at The Bushman's. I stayed on my own, but I would definitely recommend it for families too as so much room outside! And there's a BBQ area too.

M. S.Last week, after 6pm on a wet Friday afternoon, cold and miserable, I limped into the Bushman’s Motor Inn on my motorbike which had been damaged on the road from Young. A hot shower in my spacious and comfortable room finished with quality fittings and the best meal we had on our 9-day trip at the inhouse restaurant certainly cheered me up.
However, all that pales compared to the hospitality and assistance Nev and Viv provided to help me get my bike back on the road. I won’t go into details – if I did there would be a steady stream of distressed bikers heading to the Inn expecting similar treatment! Suffice to say N & V went above and beyond helping me to fix my bike, and as a result I was able to safely motor home the almost 1,000 kays over the next two days.

D. D.I found this a great place, I arrived very late and the key was out for me and when I went in the room was cosey and warm with the air conditioner on. That was a nice surprise on such a cold night, the room looked as though it had a recent refurbishment and was nicely decorated, the bathroom was modern with shampoo/conditioner, soap, hand cream and shave cream in dispensers. The bed was very comfy with nice clean white sheets with an electric blanket.

Not only did the weather deliver, but the property was perfect for the event with loads of open space for the kids to enjoy, and a great 360° view of the surrounding mountains. The room itself was lovely, immaculately clean and updated. The aircon worked first go (rare for us). Even the toiletries were divine with an outback theme perfect for a Bushman's stay. The staff were so friendly. Very happy, definitely recommending this at every chance I get. Thanks so much for an enjoyable first time stay at Lithgow.

W. H.Excellent Motel with great facilities. We had a deluxe room, which I thought would be bigger, but there was still enough room for the three of us (2 adults, 1 child). Our room had air-con, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board, microwave and a small TV. The room was recently renovated, so it was modern, clean and comfortable. The motel has room service or a restaurant. The food is simple and home-made. Breakfast is continental or hot buffet (eggs, bacon, hash browns, and beans), but all nice and freshly cooked. Staff are lovely and friendly and happy to please. Whilst we were in a room facing the highway, the traffic noise wasn't too bad. A very pleasant stay for the awesome Ironfest weekend!

Rooms were exceptionally clean, beds were comfy and the shower was amazing.
The owners greeted us warmly and were very helpful with our questions and request. I loved that we were given small bottles of milk for our tea & coffee instead of the normal uht packets.
We also ate at the bistro and the food was good and service was excellent.
We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Restaurant food was very good but waiting time for meals was a little longer than we expected, especially if you are really hungry and if there are large groups booked in. Not worth losing a star though! It's a great place for a stopover or to use as home base for Wolgan Vally adventures!
L. J.Clean and great for an overnighter. Bed was comfortable and the room had all that you could need for a quick overnight stay.
Downsides would be that the walls were thin so some noise could be heard from room to room. Our room had broken tap fittings and plumbing in neighbouring rooms was noisy.
Overall it wasn't a bad experience and I'd use them again if in the area. Price was good for what you get.

H.It was the cheapest accommodation I could find so I didn't have high expectations, the rooms are very dated and in need of repairs/renovations, but very much okay for a cheap motel for a night or two. The room was clean, the shower was decent and the beds were quite soft with little support and I doubt they've been changed in the last decade or three.
I booked it not realizing that it was not located in the city of Lithgow, which was not a problem and I didn't mind the 5 minute drive into Lithgow or back for dinner. Our room faced the highway, and we could the occasional truck or train going by throughout the night.
Our room had a new flat screen television which worked great, and they have also installed small electronic heaters on the wall to replace the ancient one in the room.
I'd stay there again.

After closing in February 2017 for full renovations, the Bushman's had a name change, change of ownership and a fresh update to all 34 of their rooms!
28 rooms have also been completely remodelled with new bathrooms and furniture (only the best for our guests!).
Brand new reverse cycle air cons have gone into all rooms as well as new fridges, microwaves, kettles, toasters (on request) and ironing facilities. New beds and bedding complete this extensive renovation.
The Kitchen has been completely redone and our talented Chef has put together a menu to please all culinary tastes! The licenced restaurant is open for Breakfast & Dinner!
Be assured your visit to The Bushman's Motor Inn will be a pleasure from your initial contact to your departure and a stay worth remembering.
It may be cold in Lithgow but you can be assured of a warm welcome at The Bushman's Motor Inn!
