Everything was just fine. Beds and rooms were clean although a bit on the small side. Same goes for the bathrooms. I liked that everything was quiet quite early so you could get an early start on the next day. Staff was friendly but seemed a bit preoccupied. Would probably stay here again if I were on a budget and needed a central accommodation.

I really love to stay there! Nice people working there and live there. Far away from home it becomes a little bit a second home. Small place and def. not a party play place. A lot of work and travellers with are working in Sydney but also a lot people from all over the world. Great place to stay! For short and for long term!

I came to Casa and was greeted by Sam at reception. He was super accommodating and nice to me, throughout my stay there his friendliness really made it for me. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome, and he does his job well! Would rather be helping you or getting to know you rather than sitting at reception on the computer. I stayed there a couple days and met most of the staff and everyone else seemed great as well. It has a really homey atmosphere (hense the name :P), beds are great too! If you wanna stay in a more relaxed atmosphere, get to know people on a more personal level, and feel comfortable and at home, then i'd definitely recommend staying here. I also had some much needed alone time during the day, because lots of people have jobs/at school. I've been traveling for 8 months and hostels like this are always a nice little reminder.

Casa means 'home', right? Well, there is no place like Casa. I recommend everyone to go to Casa Central when they are planning on staying in Sydney. I can only imagine one problem you can have there and that is that they might be fully booked because everyone wants to stay there. And even then the staff will offer you the best of service helping you to find a bed, give you a cup of tea and allow you to use all the facilities. Amazing people stay there, amazing people work there. Clean beds, small and quiet rooms, great showers, all for good prices. Don't just think about going to Casa Central, go there! You won't regret. Thanks. Casa!

Very good Hostal to stay! The staff is really kind, Jania, Chingwen and Guiseppe are really nice people, they are always there to help you. Very clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The Hostal has a very good location, just minutes to Central Station. Very good place, i highly recommend it. Hope to come again.

Staff was quite nice and helpful. They had an issue with cockroaches at the time we were there, but had pest control around and kept the kitchen tidy. All in all a great place to stay!

Overall, it is a good and comfortable place. In the first look it seems a bit old but it has a comfortable environment. The main problem for me was showers :-) the temperature of water changed alot sometimes and became cold. I hope they solve this problem.

The bathrooms and toilets aren’t very clean. They’re also very small, same with the rooms. The female toilet upstairs is next to an open window (that doesn’t close easily) so you need pull your pants up before you stand up. They only have fans in the room which is just quite not enough so warm Sydney days.

The room is clean but very cold in the room (stayed in July) The water pressure in the bath is weak, the water is small, and the water temperature is unstable, which is a bit painful in winter. Friendly staff. The location is very convenient.

The staff are very friendly. The hotel is very close to the train station. The rooms and bathrooms are old and smelly, but it is clear that the staff are doing their best to maintain cleanliness.
