I sent my parents here for a relaxing getaway, and they told me it was amazing.
The cottage was fantastic and the area just beautiful.
There is also gourmet food choices available such as wood fired pizza, homemade fresh baked bread or an afternoon gourmet platter.
Dianne and her husband are amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure you feel at home and you enjoy your stay.
Absolutely recommend.
M.Great place to stay! The pool is icy fresh, little leaves here and there but it was a great swim. The cabin area is quiet and has lots of space. The outdoor area feels relaxing, the inside is good to let your worry's out.

R. G.Coming from the hustle and bustle of Sydney with 2 young kids we found Friday creek to be a great place to relax and reconnect with nature. The highlight was making the woodfired pizza- a must do. The hosts are very friendly. Our kids loved it.
G. H.What a beautiful place. We needed a quick break away from everything and everyone. We loved our time here, didn't see a soul. It was beautiful sitting on the verandah looking out over the beautiful property and surrounding countryside. It was so quiet and peaceful.
Accommodation was beautiful too. We stayed in the Moroccan Cottage. So lovely. Highly recommend. Will be returning.

H. W.We had an amazing time staying in Cottage 1 at Friday Creek Retreat, which was very spacious with stunning views over the valley. Judy and Stuart really made our stay memorable and nothing was too much trouble, letting us borrow some fishing rods with our son even catching a perch which was a highlight.... and the freshly baked bread for breakfast was so lovely. It was nice to swim in the beautiful pool each morning and enjoy the views over the valley. Would highly recommend.. a wonderful retreat in a little piece of paradise
M. S.This was our fifth stay at Friday Creek Retreat, and each time just seems to get better and better. The cabins were thoughtfully orchestrated and well maintained throughout our entire trip. The property owners were some of the kindest people you will ever met, thoughtful, professional and helped us with everything imaginable.
You have to try the fresh wood fired pizza and fresh bread - it's a must!
J. M.We booked here at the last minute due to a camping trip cancelled by heavy rain. It was a great find and will stay here again. We stayed in the Casablanca bungalow with our two small dogs. We loved it, particularly the wonderful deck where we sat for hours, relaxing and looking at the expansive view. We tried to use all the facilities-the gorgeous pool, the tennis courts, the pizza oven, we walked all around the property and our dogs enjoyed playing in the creek. The owners were super friendly and helpful.
l.The cabins are well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The shampoo and soap smell divine and the view and the birds are lovely. And finally, the owners are friendly and welcoming.
H. H.We just returned from the most amazing holiday at Friday Creek Retreat. This place is a gem. We enjoyed a family reunion there, and everyone had a fantastic time. There is plenty to do and space for everyone - it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, even though it was fully booked. There was no shortage of activities to keep everyone occupied including the kids and it was great being able to take our dog who also loved being in the country. The accommodation and property are in beautiful condition. Thanks Judy and Stuart, we loved our visit and we are now planning our next one.

C.We just had an awesome 3 night stay in the Santa Fe cabin. It was utterly tranquil and relaxing. The cabin was well appointed and cosy and the bed super comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen had all the basic tools to cook so we didn't eat out much. Will definitely return.

S. G.My partner and I had a fantastic 2 night stay at Friday Creek Retreat and we would definitely stay again. The cabin (number 6) was neat, clean and well decorated, and we loved the fire place and spa bath. The property and tennis court were immaculate. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
S. C.We, 7 persons stayed in the cottage of Friday creek for 2, however all of us, especially our children regret that we stayed only 2 nights. Friday creek is the most fantastic one in our 14 days trip. It is really a paradise, escape from the busy city, no noise, fresh air, bird singing. Our family enjoyed a precious moment, cooking, relaxing, rolling on the grassland. The owner, Judy and Stuart are really kindness, giving us warm welcoming, help us setting up fireplace. We will definitely stay in Friday creek again.
J. B.Lovely quiet spot. Good local roads making travel pleasant. Very little contact with hosts, may be a covid thing, but plenty of notes in cabin to keep you aware. WiFi is good enough speed for Netflix. Cabins so well insulated you need to open doors or windows to here cows and birdsong. Downside not wheelchair friendly, all cabins I saw have steps at the entry. When booking you will be reminded to ignore GPS...because it is very wrong.
R. M.Wow what a fantastic place to stay. My wife and I and our dog needed a couple of nights away after being "locked up" for so long. We were welcomed by Judy on check in and she showed us to our spotlessly presented cabin. Stuart and his offsider delivered firewood to our cabin every afternoon for our fire at night. Friday Creek Retreat is truly magnificent. Thank you for looking after us.
E. H.The location of this place is stunning. Beautiful views, the pool is magnificent and the room was lovely. We stayed in the Moroccan room and were impressed with all the detail. We woke up to a spectacular view from bed and freshly baked bread.
However, the owner made us feel like we were nothing but an inconvenience to her in every dealing we had. She even rung me on my mobile and rudely scalded me like a child because we were 15 mins late for dinner (this wasn’t deliberate on our part, we were madly trying to get 3 kids ready, changing a nappy and they were walking slowly looking at wildlife).
So if you can get past your dealings with her, or she learns how to deal nicely with guests, I’m sure you’ll have a lovely stay. It really is a lovely place.
l. c.My husband and I went to Friday creek retreat for 2nights and absolutely loved it, we were shown a koala in a tree on a arrival. We had fresh baked bread delivered next morning.
The cottage was well designed very clean, lovely double spa, there was everything we needed in it.
We were allowed to bring our puppy which was nice. Pool and bbq area spotless with gorgeous views. We hope stay a week next time

E. P.We loved Friday Creek Retreat! It was just a flying visit, but it was a beautiful place to stop on our way to Byron! The scenery is stunning, the cottages are beautifully decorated, with real fireplaces, lovely bedrooms & bathroom with big spa bath. Judy is a very friendly hostess and gave us lots of useful local info. Highly recommended - hopefully we'll be back for a longer stay next time!
