Great location. Views are spectacular. Nice friendly staff and vibe. Food was very average. We had fish and chips, burgers and a pizza. The fish and chips are clearly been pre cooked and the batter was oily. The pizza dough was soggy and the toppings were cheap. Definitely somewhere I'd return for a drink but I wouldn't return for food.
A. K.
Spectacular scenery and a great venue. Food portions are generous and meals are very tasty. Parking can be challenging if it's a nice weekend or during events though.
Very family friendly and a great place for groups as well. I'll be back so I can try the dumpling van :) I was too full from lunch to have a go.

Loved it !! Beautiful property for a weekend getaway. Loved the oceanfront views , great food , variety of drinks on tap , live music , swimming pool and nice and humble office staff . We stayed here for 2 nights and I can say this will be my happy place to enjoy and relax almost every 3 months. Highly recommended !!

Excellent location and spectacular scenery. This review is for the Bistro and the bar of the hotel. There is a pizza / dumpling bar near outside sitting area if you are after a quick snack or there is a bistro with many choices. We have ordered three different seafood dishes and all of them were pretty delicious and were prepared quickly. Being only a short drive from southern suburbs of Sydney makes it an attractive place.

Amazing friendly inviting....to say but a few great words....
Had a fabulous time with friends and the on-site pizza place served us an amazing mushroom, garlic and cheese with rocket topped pizza...to die for.
Can't wait to visit again soon.
Many thanks

This was our second visit. It was Sunday evening. The place was packed with people. We had a meal. Two of the group had fish, which was nice. I had chicken. I was very disappointed because it was very tough!

This restaurant is in a great location right on the cliff top of little austinmer beach. I love that the outdoor section is dog friendly and right next to a dog beach, we mostly eat from sharkies pizza and dumpling bar which makes the best wood fired pizzas! We come here at least once a month the only issues we’ve had is sometimes their opening hours differ to their website with sharkies but other than that this is one of the best seaside restaurants I’ve been to, with good prices and variety on the menu.

Great place for a quick bite. Modern. Some views. Can be difficult to find a table with a view though and some plantings need to be cut to expose the view better! Food is good but a little pricey. Drinks are on the extra side too but I guess if you arrive for happy hour during the week you'd be on a winner but asvoutvof towners, not an option ;-) unfortunately the dining spots are a little small or lack ambience. Reliable. And staff are lovely!
S. A.
Chock a block people, unfortunately screaming kids, shame put a damper on a pleasant lunch. Potato pizza really nice, staff pleasant and friendly. Parking somewhat difficult. Veiws 2nd to none. Possibly better experience during the week.
f. D.
Amazing view of the ocean. Clean rooms, however the phone to call reception didn't work. Netflix not available unless you have your own account. Staff could have been a little more helpful upon check in. Luckily the views made up for the rest.
P. T.
One of my favourite spots to go for a relaxing lunch by the water. Couldn’t fault any meals, staff were amazing, views are beautiful, bar tenders were friendly and will definitely be returning!
C. B.
Great location, ample parking, staff were friendly and very accommodating, terrific meals and drinks list. These guys go above and beyond to satisfy there customers.
D. H.
Great bistro... Food was generous and very tasty. Bar service was excellent, which made up for wait time for the food as they were super busy
C. F.
This place is exceptional. You can sit outside at their tables or sofas while the kids play. Great food, excellent cocktails. Couldn't rate it higher.
A. J.
Love this place!! Outdoor seating with beautiful ocean views, cold beer, cool breeze. What more could you ask for?
c. b.
The penthouse room was amazing, perfect for a romantic getaway. The views from the balcony were sublime. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend staying here for a few days!
T. G.
What a fantastic pub, food, staff, atmosphere & views all 5 star, not to mention the lovely 1 hour drive down from Sydney👍
I. G.
They have done some improvements to seating areas since my last visit pre-lockdown & enclosed the front courtyard which was always a windy area...glass sliding doors have been installed which can open up the area on hotter days...but was nice to sit out if the wind today!
K. L.
I didn't stay at the hotel, just for drinks. GF food choices were basically nothing but fries.
C. J.
Great views, good food. Very spacious and clean rooms if you want to stay at the apartments as well.
D.
AMAZING!
Booking the one bedroom top floor with views of the water and the mountains is the wrap around balcony was the best decision we made!!
So peaceful, such good service
A. T.
Awesome food and coffee. Beautiful scenery, very friendly staffs. Definitely will come back

The best service
Great food
Exceptional function center
D. F.
It was OK. It was very busy being Easter. The bistro had a 2 hour wait. They have heaps of seating and 2 food outlets that I know of. We wanted bistro food but had to have pizza which were expensive for what they were. Drinks also expensive - the northern tax in full force. I had a corona that was $11. Cokes were nearly $6?? Maybe that's the going rate.
M. W.
Awesome setting, panoramic coastal views
Excellent food, variety of beers.
A. D.
Such a beautiful setting for brunch. Friendly and polite staff. Breakfast was amazing. Great coffee and menu selection. Food was delicious and beautifully presented and generous. Will definitely be back again!!
D. L.
Lovely drive through the Royal Natioal Park to the Headlands Hotel for good food and fantastic views.

Newish Property - Cold Dull Colorless Rooms - Great Location
You cannot fault the location at the headland in Austinmer with stunning beaches on either side. The Bistro is lovely and there is plenty of free parking for hotel guests. The rooms however were quite bland and cold. The property is only 3 years old and still presents as newish. We had a deluxe garden view apartment which had a full kitchen and was very spacious. The walls were almost completely bare and the overall feeling was that the place badly needed an interior decorator. It was completely lacking in color. When we arrived our bedroom blind was completely broken so we could not get light or air. The staff was unable to do anything and offered zero compensation. I would say that service level was 3 star and the rooms might be slightly better but in need of some flair. Avoid the rooms that face a wall if at possible and ask to get on as high a floor as possible as these have better outlooks no matter what direction you are facing. If you get an ocean view room I would request a room facing north as this it the better aspect.
S. G.
An absolute favourite, great food and incredibly helpful and friendly team
N. S.
Beautiful location with stunning view from the hotel. The restaurant is at a perfect spot and the food is delicious as well. The beach is just 2 minutes walk away. A perfect place for a day trip or a weekend getaway for people of all ages. The pricing is reasonable too during off peak season but can get too high during long weekends and peak seasons.
m. R.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom penthouse east facing. The view was excellent the balcony area unfortunately was soaked from the rain the night before the outdoor furniture cushions were left to soak so we were unable to sit outside internally the two bedroom apartment was clean and spacious but there was no ensuite just one bathroom for the two rooms would recommend to stay but couldn’t justify more than 500 night max. The staff were all friendly amd the food was fine the breakfast was nice also the coffee was decent. Ask for a late check out best I got was 1030 which was strange because it was a Monday night
N. B.
Very nice hotel, nice cold beers.
Close to the beach.
D. P.
Stunning views with good areas to enjoy the views. Good choice of drinks. Food rather disappointing. Vegetables overcooked and burnt. Thai Beef Salad meat too rare for my liking.
L. E.
Headwinds Hotel is set in a great location with water views and extensive indoor and outdoor seating. There is good bistro style menu with a well stocked bar serving all types of drinks including cocktails. There is some covered parking below on street level and the venue can be entered via a lift for the disabled . A good choice for any occasion. There is also hotel accommodation but I haven't stayed there though it looks very nice.
S. B.
Stayed in a sea facing apartment. Staff was friendly, place was great!
Z. L.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Can be hard to find parking near the venue on sunny weekends. We went 2pm Sunday parked streets away, had to line up to check in and were told there is an hour wait on cooked food. We went with fresh prawns and oysters instead.
K. E.
Great views and food, live music. Great pub
S. D.
Love this place great views if you're lucky to get a table. Forget going on the weekend it's so popular. Staff have to work faster to get tables cleared the menu and prices are ok.
J. F.
Great veiw good service food fresh and prices good
N. R.
Stayed for one night, winter escape package ; checking in good, room comfortable and spacious with a view of the pool and a bit of the sea .Room dusty in some places. Terrace restaurant was Bistro style ( surprisely, eggs NOT available with burgers, at Breakfast no substitute for bacon,I.e.chicken/beef, sausages.
M. S.
Location is amazing, rooms are huge with giant balconies and the view is incredible
H. W.
Cocktails are really nice but you have to be patient and wait for it I suggest u just buy yourself a couple at a time. There are not many pokies but there are loads of different areas to relax and check out the sensational views
J.
The accommodation is lovely, well priced and clean and comfortable rooms. Disappointed that the outdoor seating section was covered, unsure if this was due to Covid-19 as they didn't mention this when we asked about Covid restrictions.
The restaurant is great, basic pub food with exceptional views but quite pricey. I would highly recommend it for events with that view!
M. A.
We love coming here with the family as the atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming. The food is always on point with a decent menu for everyone, the drinks and cocktails are fantastic and most of the time there is always somewhere to sit. The place is air conditioned, clean with comfortable seating both inside and out. Last but not least, the coastal views are incredible.
o.
Beautifully maintained property. We stayed one night with another couple and booked std rooms. One room had a washer and dryer with ocean views an outside terrace w/ table & chairs, full kitchen w/dishwasher while the other room had no dryer or dishwaher and a tiny balcony with no view or seating. This was quite disappointing given we paid the same for both rooms.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed with kitchenette and washing machine. A pleasant first impression. However bed was extremely soft with no support which made for a very restless, uncomfortable sleep.
Reception staff were not very welcoming and made the check in process confusing and frustrating. Bistro staff were lovely but main meal choices were uninspiring and very average given the prices. Deserts were delicious though. No gym unfortunately.
If you decide to stay make sure to check room amenities and outlook.
A. W.
Great place to eat and relax with family & friends.
M. M.
Quit impressed - great location, even a good dumpling bar 😁
B. G.
Accomodation was clean and immaculate. We had the ocean view one bedroom apartment, with a complimentary wine on arrival for an anniversary. Had food from the hotel brasserie, which quality didn’t match the accommodation. Had two burgers, a little sub par, the chicken one a little raw. Also had the buffalo wings which were perfect 👏 Overall will definitely come back!
M. J.
Great location and good selection of food. Cocktail prices are pretty steep, but other beverages and food prices are reasonable. The fish and chips is pricey at $29, but the serving size is very generous (4 large pieces of battered fish). I really enjoyed the rump steak. Small but cooked to perfection (for me anyway)
m. g.
Great place and great food will be back.
M. B.
Very pretty place. Gets very busy and they don’t take bookings under 20 people so if you’re going for weekend lunch, go early. Parking not so easy either but it’s definitely worth the effort. Outdoor seating is comfy and the view spectacular. A great place to take overseas visitors!
S. M.
Great venue. Fantastic view. Lots of different seating inside and out. Food was yummy and the meals are a good size. Service was friendly and fast. The amenities were clean and fresh. Great experience overall.
S. S.
My group of 6 friends and I had a delicious lunch, the menu suited us all very well (sweet potato wedges were amazing). The outlook is spectacular looking over the beach and the staff were very friendly, exceeding our expectations in preparing lunch for the toddler in our group very quickly. It was a very busy Saturday but we found a comfortable spot to sit.
K. c.
Booked a one bedroomed apartment
Large apartment, big balcony.
Paid for sofa bed(shocking) it was more comfortable sleeping on the floor.
Overall, expensive for what you get.
Food and drink over priced
k. s.
Happy - Good menu range and amazing view. Definitely worth a visit. Service was par along with wait times etc.
N.
Visited in 2019 was impressed. Back again in 2021, we ate 3 different meals/days at the hotel, each time the food and cocktails were phenomenal. Best place to eat in the Thirroul/Austi area. Great views and atmosphere.
K. B.
Relaxing environment, spectacular scenery with views from every seating position available. Covid safe. Meals reasonable prices we give it 5 star rating. An essential stopover for lunch when visiting Austinmeer.
G. T.
Great view from Penthouse :) Huge balcony!
C. K.
Food and service were excellent. Poke bowl and swordfish super yummi. Can't wait to try other things on the menu. Plus the view is amazing.
m. w.
Great place. Great location. Beautiful views every direction. The bar area and gardens are extensive and set up so that you het to enjoy a view no matter where you're sitting.
You could bring the kids. There is lots of space outside for the kids to enjoy.
I'm not a beer drinker, but from what i saw coming back to the table, there appears to be a good range of beers on tap.
The range of food choices was excellent also. Our group all had food from either the Mexican kitchen or dumpling van. All enjoyed. We didn't try the seafood buffet or bistro, but could see excellent looking plates of food coming back to tables nearby from those kitchens.
Excellent all 'round
J. C.
Great spot. Went for lunch on a Sunday. It was very busy but they handle it well. Really good food, great views.
M. O.
Nice out look depending on where you sit.Food ok,bit of a drag if your seated in a location far from the kitchen and have to pick up your meal and take it back to your table.A minor problem, except for seniors.Typical pub food and prices.Well worth a visit, but im confused by other reviews complimenting service???
I had to pick up my meals from the Kitchen and my drinks from the bar
.Bar staff were friendly.
A. L.
Went there for lunch and a few drinks. It has great views out to sea and down the beach. Food was very good. Chicken burger and fish & chips both very tasty. Great out door area to sit and enjoy the sun. Is kid friendly with a good kids menu and plenty of room out side for the kuds to walk around. Also the outside area is well fenced so do not need to worry about the younger kids.

Food, service and view were fantastic

The hotel's location is perfect and the building itself is quite nice. I didn't stay in a room on my trip but instead I ate lunch with my family. The food there is very delicious and the wait isn't too short and not too long. The ingredients seemed quite fresh and were tasty. The service was great and the staff are very friendly. Overall great place to have lunch at.
J. L.
Awesome spot with beautiful views. Don't let the bistro style dining out you off, the food is top notch. Wine a bit pricey, but overall amazing. We stayed here also, the room was impressive! Looking forward to getting back here.
R. A.
Great view, awesome food and friendly staff.
Relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
Going back asap.
M.
Great location on the shore but just above sea level. Wonderful ocean view and great for Whale season. New building with all the sophisticated trimings. Staff are friendly but formal and prices are reasonable.
There is inside dining or a balcony.
It is also a hotel with great accommodation.
If you are only going for dinner the food is excellent, here is a photo of the Angus Steak and chicken schnitzel.
But the best time is Friday Saturday and Sunday night when the Caravan is open for quick dumplings. Dogs are welcome outside if they are under control.
j. h.
Excellent views down to the beach and out to the ocean. Very busy for lunchtime on a Sunday with a nice atmosphere. Due to how busy it is it can be hard to park with limited spaces.
I had the fish and chips which was excellent
Beers were moderately priced
Dogs welcome
R. M.
Great location with awesome views and heaps of space for kids to run around right next to where your can eat. Uninspiring food. Ok, but a bit mediocre.
D.
Beautiful scenery. A must for photographers the are is stunning. Our experience there was great. The suite we has could not have been better.....
Since the first review we have returned twice. It is now a destination for us and a beautiful place to visit. The surrounding amenities are superb, there is a good bar and restaurant and the food is quite good.
The rooms we have stayed in are like a luxury high rise apartment and are contemporary and well fitted out with great amenities.
Y. S.
Headlands Hotel is a little piece of paradise with stunning sea views perched on the cliffs. Hats off to Matthew for his patience when taking my booking as I was unsure whether this place would be suitable when travelling with 3 kids. Turns out a perfect choice, the rooms were spacious and clean. There is a bistro/dining area perfect for drinks or dinner and a super-cool airstream serving dumplings.
We were excited to swim but the pool heating was not on at the time so hopefully we can experience a winter dip next time!!
Definitely will return to enjoy the spoils of this area/place. Thanks again for having us!
W. J.
Perfect view ,of the coast line, both to the north and looking South...
Ample parking, even on busy days, great food, bar, and family areas..
Highly recommended..

Great location, nice food

Aside from the view and the sheer size of the room we booked, there's not much else I could say about this hotel. We booked the Ocean View One-bedroom apartment, and it was huge. It is well suited for people who would like to throw a party, because it had an indoor and an outdoor dining set, and a massive balcony. Unfortunately, it wasn't the cleanest. We found a half eaten biscuit under the couch. We also found it odd that for such a huge space, there was no bath tub, and even though they have refurbished the place, the toilet was still in a separate room from the bathroom and didn't have its own sink and faucet. We were happy to find that there was a washing machine that we could use, but as it is not enclosed in a cupboard, you'll be able to hear it running if you do the laundry at night, even though it's across the hall from the bedroom. That, too, was disappointing. Overall, it's a nice place and the staff are friendly, but I don't think it's worth the price at all.
g. b.
Great value for money. The bed was incredibly comfortable we didn't want to leave! Beautiful T2 tea, local freshly roasted ground coffee to brew and nice bathroom products. Will definitely come back for a longer stay in the future to make the most of the amenities.
K. M.
My husband and I spent a lovely and very relaxing few days at Headlands Hotel. We couldn’t fault our experience at all.
The hotel itself was clean, tidy and very modern, accommodating all the facilities we required and nestled in a beautiful location right between the mountains and water.
Staff were friendly and food (we had both breakfast, dinner and cocktails at the hotel) was delicious (a little on the pricey side for pub food, but to be expected for the location).
All in all, a lovely experience. We will be back.
A. N.
Beautiful location - buffet lunch for Father's Day was absolutely divine. Staff were terrific, gorgeous views and decorations in the function area. Great music and atmosphere. Wonderful experience.
J. K.
(4.5 stars) Good food mostly, great view. Trio of dips was not good... service good but asked for prawns to be added to pasta and was told that the computer wont let her?. Anyway, will go back again.
h. t.
Great atmosphere with great food and friendly staff.
S. B.
Nice food. Good bar. Great view. Food is a little pricey.
A. H.
Went there for a party and booked the dining room out. About 30-40 people all up. Staff constantly looking at our kids as they were playing on the floor asking them to stop climbing on chairs on the side that were spare. Prob spent around $2k all up need to be more accommodating for kids. Nice food on the expensive side. Good beer and great ambiance with live music.
R. L.
Great midweek lunch, coffee, drinks at the new hotel, many scenic bars coastal views everywhere, looks busier on weekends.
K. F.
Beautiful views, reasonably priced + delicious food. I found some of the staff to be rude, but overall really enjoyed the visit. We came for a breakfast and I ordered a bacon eggs benny + my partner ordered a vegetarian dish with wild mushrooms + halloumi.
We were both really impressed with the quantity of food + how great the dishes were presented. Everything was well seasoned with great flavour profiles. The menu had a great variety of options too.
Would recommend for groups, families or couples.
D. F.
This has an amazing atmosphere, great food new and clean. Check it out for.your self
R. B.
Good food and fabulous views!
R. F.
Great view. One of the best locations in the area. Very nice accommodation (our second time). Don't go to the restaurant if you are hungry. Expect a few hours for service. Expect your orders to be mixed up.
T. N.
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude!!The accommodation exceptional!!
The food-second to none!!The staff in the hotel-AMAZING!!And most of all BOBBY is the security. And what a Bloke!!The guy just doesn’t stand there and look tough👀He gets involved!!whether it’s collecting glasses or making sure the patrons need anything he is there!!well done mate and well done Headlands hotel we will definitely be back to this beautiful part of the world.Todd and Tracey Norman
N. C.
We had the rump steak and the pumpkins and feta salad. Both great dishes. The steak was beautiful.
D. S.
This hotel has one of the best views of that area. We were there at the sunset and had an amazing time. The food and drinks complemented the picturesque scenery. They have a spacious sea facing lawn in front. Warm indoors seating and lovely staff. Its now become one of my favourite places. Will visit again n again
N. W.
We just had the best time out of town.
Thank you so much to the Headland hotel Austinmer and each and every member of staff for a much needed break.
We are definitely coming back.
H. G.
The location pictures from the Hotel website were nothing like the views we actually had from our room. I think we must have been put into the 'lesser view' side of the hotel. Quite disappointing considering we paid $399 per night for the room. I think because the hotel is the only one on the headland they charge a premium. Also while we were there, we experienced a putrid smell emanating from the bathroom which lingered all day and night. We advised the office staff of such and their simple response was 'yes we know". On the brighter side, the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient.
Overall, very overpriced for the experience!!!
A. P.
The best way to do Sunday Brunch! Different food offerings from across the globe at different stations throughout the restaurant - order what you want and sit with your friends at a table. We had Mexican, and the rice bowl was perfect. Great views, reasonable prices!
M. J.
Great location with stunning views. Food is good. Sadly design of new building has not considered shade from sun in summer in the outdoor area. So get there early on weekends to grab the limited good outdoor seats in the shade.
S. W.
Perfect!! From the moment we walked in we were impressed. Immaculately cleaned, lovely scent throughout the apartment, happy friendly staff, close to the beach and a BP across the road, shops a short drive away.
Bed was soooo comfortable. Very spacious apartment and huge balcony! We didn't want to leave! Definitely Recommend and we will be back!
R. H.
Awesome location. Many different eateries to cater for even the most fussy of eaters. “Disco” brought out the young and young at heart!
G. A.
We visit headies regularly. While it doesn't have the charm of the old pub and caters more for tourists than locals, there's still something worthwhile. At least they employ locals. Mexican food as a lunch special was a nice touch to keep costs down, and good grub. I think they do it in weekends only. Service is friendly, good selection of on tap beers. Beautiful views of the ocean and escarpment gives a wonderful atmosphere.
J. D.
Cool hip place to visit. Awesome views.
J. A.
Didn't have to queue long for a table, they don't take bookings. Great food and selection of drinks. Very friendly staff and if you can get a table with an ocean view
C. W.
We had our wedding at Headlands on the weekend and could not fault them! Thank you so much to all the staff but especially Laura - you were so attentive, friendly and helpful that many of our guests commented on how good the service was! The food and presentation was beautiful. Also loved the accommodation - amazing views and beautifully laid out. Will definitely be back!
D. M.
Stunning location and a beautiful venue. The place was buzzing. We were told there was a one hour wait for food, which was OK given the place was packed and it was lunchtime. Unfortunately the food actually took an hour and a half. The food was OK, but not great. Well worth a visit perhaps when it isn’t as busy.
T. W.
Great views of the beach. Easy to park. Service was good and food came quite fast even for a busy time on a long weekend.
C. M.
Went for a casual dinner. It was great views, the service was really friendly and the food was pretty good. No complaints except that some of the regular patrons were a bit gazey 😂 I didn't stay but I saw my friends room - looked pretty sweet. I'd go again.
D. H.
Beautiful location towards the beach and a nice restaurant and bar to relax and enjoy the day.
Unfortunately we had to wait half an hour for them to come and clean a table for us although it wasn't that busy.
P. H.
Brand new hotel with all the mod cons. Modern resort style accomodation. Nice spot for a few drinks. A little bit fancy but not too much. Great atmosphere, nice views. Meals are modern pub style and delicious.
S. S.
Beautiful location and great ambience. The service was excellent too. Unfortunately the food was over priced for very average fare. Korean tasting plate was good and so was the popcorn chicken. Fish and chips was lukewarm, batter soggy and pale, fish was mushy. Fresh seafood was good. Burger okay and salad underwhelming. Brownie was dry and Panna cotta bland. Overall a great venue but food was disappointing.
P. H.
View view view. Salty breeze. Top staff. Smart.
N. S.
Our room was clean, large and modern. It had all amenities and utilities including laundry, bathroom, kitchen, fridge, stove and microwave. Situated on a gorgeous headland with excellent views. Staff were great. Used the Hotel Bistro and food was excellent. Would visit again.
A. S.
Love visiting on Sunday mornings for brunch. Great service and good quality food/coffee’s.
b. t.
Great holiday stay.Food in the restaurant not that great but you should try the sliders available in the food truck and the wood fired pizza.Very clean, hygienic and offers great sea view.
M. S.
Great location, plenty of parking, modern facilities, friendly staff excellent food - what more can you ask for??
F. O.
Great location and the premises are very near and Modern.
A. W.
Great food, friendly & helpful staff, love the tap beer & wine selection ... all surpassed by the view which is incredible any time of the day. Relaxed Gong vibe x 1000! Kid friendly provided they don’t fall off the cliff edge ...
I. S.
The hotel is new build replacing the old hotel. Beautiful in its simplicity and the views are absolutely stunning. A very peaceful place to relax however like all hotels the food and drinks are quite expensive. There are super places in the area to sustain you. Very much worth a stay if you are in the area.
E. R.
Great food but gets quite busy so go in off peak periods.
P. M.
Excellent food, fantastic views, friendly bar staff, very busy but worth the wait
H. L.
Great selection of food, beer & wines plus relaxed service
H. B.
Lovely food, service was a tad poor, the prices were a bit dear.... Not going to be my local.
M. d. M.
Great place to sit and enjoy the view up north. A little on the pricey side as it caters mainly to tourists, but not too bad. Kids meals are fairly big, but for $12 there could be a drink thrown in. Still, had a few beers and a cocktail, kids could run around and have fun. Lucky it was a warm day as it looks like it would get cold.
L. P.
Awesome. Great food with many dietary options and excellent customer service. Great place to ride to if you have a motorbike! A definite favourite of ours!
That view.... So good!
M. T.
Headlands hotel was a great atmosphere, and beautiful location right on the beach. While lunch took a while, after a long wait to order, it was also peak time so may not be the normal experience. Food, and coffee were good, and they were accommodating to kids needs.
M. S.
Breakfast at the Headlands Hotel is a great experience for the whole family with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food is lovely, especially the smoked bacon for breakfast.
All of this, with a great outlook over the ocean and Austinmer. Great for families or coffee with friends.
F. G.
Had a friend's wedding here, the place is 10 out of 10, great food, awsome scenery and photo spots close by, accommodation was perfect. Can't fault any thing about this place. You should 100% get married here.
K. H.
Beautiful atmosphere but food was very average...I've been there 3 times and the food is slowly getting better each time... Cant do good seafood I wouldnt buy anything to do with seafood... Pub food only... And I think if you want to eat seafood you go to a seafood restaurant...
K.
Lovely weekend stay with family. Accommodation was a little lacking in facilities like comfortable outdoor furniture. Nice apartment, comfy beds. Food in restaurant was good. Great views and nice atmosphere.
T. H. M.
We have a new south coast favourite! Keep driving past the over-priced and crazy busy Scarborough Hotel to the amazing Headlands Hotel. Views are just amazing - up the coast over beaches and ocean and up to the escarpment. The menu has a few twists to the usual pub offerings. We tried the quinoa and pepper salad, a Korean-inspired beef salad, house-made dips and amazing pita bread. Service was friendly and all staff actually seemed happy to be there. Am already looking forward to our next visit.
F. P.
Great food and views of the ocean

Headlands has one of the best views both north and south of the Illawarra coast line, so it’s a great spot to sit and enjoy with friends or family. It get rather busy at the weekends been on the coastal drive. Be prepared to wait if you order food, plenty of choice along with good service and friendly staff. Sorry deleted photos so you’ll have to go an check out the view for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed.
D. S.
Hotel layout is such that there are discrete/separate areas so you don't feel hemmed in. Food good value for prices paid. Some wait to order and receive food, but it was a Sunday and very busy. Overall good and would go again.
L. S.
Really enjoyed staying here. The room was really nice. The staff are very accommodating. The amout you are paying for the room you get is quite reasonable. The food is really nice the restaurant offers a great ramge of food. Would highly reccomend a weekend here it is a really enjoyable location.
I. L.
Food is very good, priced well and location magnificent.
B. C. T. W.
Great location with Seaside views to dine and to spend time for a holiday! Waiting time is just right for food orders. We've ordered a bucket of prawns, but disappointingly, the Prawns have been frozen and have lost it's taste (Tasteless). Otherwise the rest of the food are nice. Please serve fresh prawns like the ones in Sydney.
S. B.
Food was beautiful
Beer was cold
Staff were happy and friendly
Covid standards were high
Clean toilets
And very wheelchair friendly
R. Q.
Great views and great value. Thoroughly enjoyed a late casual lunch here.
A. F.
Quality food, great atmosphere brilliant view!!
J. H.
Brilliant from the bar staff to the food in the bistro, its first class. If you like salmon with crispy skin and fresh veggies go for it or calamari with a lemon aioli beautiful, my wife had the Onion and corn bhaji which was great. Its a must go to venue.
S. W.
My beautiful wife took me to the headlands for my 50th and the staff were more than happy to accommodate to our requirements and the food is 5 star definitely recommend.
V. V.
Beautiful views and great food. Can get busy at times. Suggest getting there early for the best tables. In summer keep to the shaded areas.
K. O.
This a great spot for drinks & dinner. The place is stunning with there In House design work!
The staff are really friendly & the food is great too- I expecially love the outdoor area, where you can sit in the sunshine & have a lounge & a wine 🍷
R. d. G.
Great views but the prices were a bit too high for my liking even when you take the view in consideration.
M. C.
Headlands Hotel is a great coastal retreat perched on a low headland looking north and south over lovely beaches. The accommodation is excellent and the bar and bistro facilities are first class. There is a functions area as well. All modern and well appointed. Highly recommended for getaways, functions, dinner or just a quiet drink.
M. G.
Food quality has improved considerably (I've been here many times since it's opened). The Mexican themes and cocktails are awesome. However $10 for a schooner of Asahi is robbery!
J. C.
Great location and facilities. They were very busy on a beautiful Sunday and definitely understaffed but the seafood plates available from a pop up were fresh and fairly fast. Keen to check it out again when it's less busy or better staffed.
W. B.
Have been several times. Don't sit outside after 6pm because they close the doors for some crazy reason without any notice and everyone outside confused and being forced to walk around. Staff seemed indifferent when approached....
A. B.
Beautiful view! Good food, good service. Decent pub meal
B.
Everything is great here, the view, the staff and the food! The chicken parmi is delicious but even the fish is really nice! Totally worth it.
G. S.
Venue and views are stunning however this was my second time visiting, service and food are quite average for price. Not in a rush to return.
A. D.
We booked this place for a honeymoon night and my husband slipped on the stairs after a late check-in. Good kudos to Matt on night shift for helping us out with getting my husband into the room. Naturally we had to cancel our second night to go and get X-rays done and that was done without complaint. The manager apologised for the incident and gave me his card so “we could deal with him directly and have a more pleasurable experience next time”. They did go above and beyond the call of duty by putting a chair on a luggage trolley and wheeling him down to to the car though.
We were also quite annoyed about the restricted meal times, because UberEats doesn’t service the area and the only thing they serve between breakfast/lunch is banana bread and chips. We just wanted something to eat after sleeping in after a long night. I can understand the need to have switchover times between lunch/brekkie but with so few alternatives in the area it’s fairly underwhelming. Weirdly, they also don’t have room service, the Bistro just calls you when your food is ready if you want to eat in your room.
P. J.
Live music and atmosphere + although pricey
M. W.
Service, view, feels of the place are great. Chicken burger was tasteless, salad was terrible.
T. H.
This is a 4 star hotel in a beautiful location with friendly staff. BUT although they call it a hotel & charge accordingly, they do not service your room each day. Service is every 3 days if you stay that long. That would be OK if the rate was not $300/night. (Also, just be aware that the buildings are not connected, so bad weather means an umbrella is needed to go to dinner).
C. G.
Absolutely amazing location and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food is average at best - portion sizes are very small and I understand you pay a premium for the location and type of hotel it is, but for what you get it’s way overpriced.
E. S.
Amazing place. Just had lunch here and there was a lot of stalls. I think it was an event. Didnt eat at the bistro so I'm not sure about their food. Stall food was yummy and good priced.
D. H.
Really good views and decent food
e. j.
Strongly recommended. Great view. Good food and portions. Service is ok as well.
L.
Excellent place with amazing view of the sea to have special get together with family and friends. Food was ok.
R. F.
Visited on Sunday perfect day lovely location hotel is nicely decorated great outdoors for family and children. Bistro didn't open until 6pm it could be open from 4pm on Sunday. Plenty of staff but there was overflowing bins in toilets and while the tables were wiped down spilt food was left on the floor. Opportunity here to up the standard..food just ok steak was cool and no garnish on either meal.
G. M.
Great, fantastic food, great staff, definitely worth a visit.
G. H.
This was the ideal place our big family birthday lunch. Food was exceptionally good and the views were spectacular. Next time we'll take a walk along the beach after lunch. Or maybe we'll stay overnight...
G. B.
Great pub experience while also able to have a quiet family meal. Friendly staff.
B. R.
Had Coffee in the Bistro. Very good coffee, staff are friendly and the view overlooking the water is great. You can sit inside or outside. The meals looked good but I didn't try anything.
D. F.
Great location! The burger I got wasn't up to par but my mates meals were absolutely top notch
H. P.
The hotel itself is lovely and we will come back. Our apartment was very roomy and clean. The only drawback was the bistro- very average food and extremely pricey for the quality.
M. G.
Perfect for a casual meal - plenty of options, good food, great views, relaxed atmosphere
P. D.
Large modern units but without character. Bar and Bistro provide plenty of seating and viewing options. We had Budha bowls for dinner, dont choose the tofu, it's way too salty. Service was good all round.
J. C.
Huge apartment rooms, very modern, plenty of facilities. Reception was too small and sliding door made it difficult with suitcases checking in and out. Great rooms and made you feel at home with the sheer size.
S. F.
I went to Headlands Hotel to drop off some friends. The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning!! I loved their interior decor as well. I definitely will go back to stay overnight there. I would recommend the place, I think everyone will love it.
G. H.
Fantastic friendly staff. Great location. Food is the repetitive generic bistro food that you find in every pub in NSW
B.
Great modern pub with an amazing view up and down the coast. Stayed here a few nights a while back, large rooms also modern at a great price for the location.
O. C.
I reserved a one bedroom apartment for one nite and it has far exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a bistro in the hotel with great view. I haven't got the chance to give a try cause my family would rather spent the evening in the apartment. We shopped grocery at Coles Thirroul, a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Overall, an excellent place to stay from home.
W. A. (.
Nice place. The meals are middle priced to expensive but it's worth it and the view and fitout are excellent at any time of year. Staff are really freindly and quick. Have not had to wait long for service.
C. F.
A picturesque location, with great views of the ocean. Very modern and stylish decor, furnishings and layout. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but the menu looked great value.
R. W.
Brilliant location, view, staff. Caters to kids, and next time we'll likely stay there! Great access to the beach, ok for parking; and the place itself has an excellent history. Stay for just a beer, or chill out for the whole arvo.
M. B.
Beautiful location, good food and drinks. A perfect place for a sunset cocktail after a day at the beach. But it is a beautiful facility and would be a lovely place to go for a date.
R. M.
Had early dinner here on Friday 1st November, restaurant and views are beautiful. We all had burgers around $20, all were pretty average. Didn't find the staff who served us very friendly, had to repeat our bar orders twice before we were understood, wouldn't hurry back.
V. B.
Great location !!
Fantastic views from our apartment.Very spacious and tidy . Definately recommend!
Amazing Venue. Fantastic staff . Awesome food and outstanding service !!
Had our wedding on the 7/10/18. Wow wow wow. 10 out of 10. Thankyou so much 🍾🥂💏
D. G.
Great vibe! Gets very busy! Need to be early as 10 - 15 min line to order food on weekends. Open plan dining with indoor and outdoor tables overlooking stunning coastal views!
W. F.
Good food and service nice people and beer
T. W.
One of the best seascape views in the world.
Food is good staff are young and inexperienced - but they try.
Setting is very open and modern to take maximum advantage of the view.
N. F.
Great location. Excellent for brunch, esp on less busy days. Terrific views and choice of seating.
L. W.
Best location in the south of Sydney. Great food. Only have it a 5 as we couldn't book a table of for the 13 of us and had to move 5ables around to sit us all
T. E.
This place ticks all the boxes. Lovely place and worth a stop over. Delicious food, fair pricing, friendly staff and beautiful views everywhere you look.
S. D.
Ideal location with great food, fantastic drinks, and a magnificent view. Check out the accommodation options, take a road trip and stay the night. Plenty to discover around the local villages. Make a weekend of it
M. W.
The wait on food is extremely long for “fast club type food”... over 2 hours for lunch.
Extremely over priced.
The location is gorgeous thou.
Live music is a plus.
The parking is an issue.
C. L.
Great location and amenities. Generous room size. Would have scored higher if more attention to detail was applied such as emptying the bin from the previous occupant and better cleaning of the toilet.
E. S.
Great place and view. Food was good, but not enough inside space for when it got cold.
P. D.
Went to a wedding reception there and could fault nothing. The venue, view, wait staff and meals made it a very memorable experience.
A. G.
Great food, good choices ,even on seniors menu. Easy asccess by lift, ramp or stsirs.spectacular views of the coastal areas worth a visit
L. R.
Scenic location, nice rooms and friendly service. Very enjoyable stay, would happily go again. The TV in our room let us sync up with our Netflix account which good too.
E. R.
Love Headlands and it’s wonderful view and food. I’m perplexed though as to how come they don’t have a kids play area. It’s a massive space that could easily fit a small kids area. A kids play area would guarantee so more parents stop by mid week as there are so many young families in the area. They could model this off The Prince in Kirawee or The Pavilion in Coogee.
B. C.
Great views. Realy good food n friendly staff. pleanty of seating both covered n open air. Rump steak with mushroom sauce, yummy.
M. H.
Great atmosphere, great location, ice cold drinks, happy staff (bartender was happily singing to the live music while making my drinks), and, most importantly, great food! Stopped off here for a late lunch on a hot day and was glad we did!
C. H.
Great view and atmosphere, music was good and easy to listen to for a Sunday lunch. One star taken off my burger for close to $30.00 was very dry and unable to eat it. But good day had by all.
H. s.
Very enjoyable - food great
Will come here again
I. P.
Awesome coffee with a sensational view.
S. B.
Stunning scenery and location, we take our out of town visitors here to showcase the Illawarra coastline. Nice beers on tap, the food is good but it has a relatively small menu and the prices are higher for similar food elsewhere.
E. K.
Amazing views, friendly staff, great food and drinks.
S. S.
Nice place for lunch. Good food and great food.
B. M.
Lovely food. Limited table waiter service. Lovely view. Very chic refurb. Plenty of choice with the different menu options of Mexican, bistro, seafood bar and dumpling bar.
N. S.
Nice location. Watch your kids near the top of the cliff though, no fencing. Kitchen orders had a massive queue, so we ordered bbq instead. Was pretty good smoked bbq.
T. K.
Amazing views needs more comfortable funiture inside bar area kinda takes on a cafeteria type atmosphere
G. A.
Great location. A Glass and Steel Environment, but the views and food make up for it
S. A.
Very nice place for lunch or dinner, or even chill in the afternoon. Amazing view good servixe. Not overly expensive. They do some animation in summer.m: tacos bar, music dumplings...
D. D.
A really nice place with a great outlook over the ocean. The bistro had a good selection of meals however a little expensive for a hotel.
I. L.
Great accommodation and extremely well looked after by Jules who runs the place, great location and facilities definately stay here again! Four stars over all as accom was great, but......
Bistro was bit of let down though, food was over priced, too much on menu all bit confused and quality not great. Restaurant seems bit sparce fit out needs bit more to filled out, plants or something. oh and don't get me started on the buzzers almost had heart attack when it went off!!! Sooooo much potential.
Pros
-Great spot, beautiful views
-Suntrap for a long session with friends
-Good staff behind bar
Conns
-Please do something about those food Buzzers!!! heart attack waiting to happen
-Confused menu too many options, keep it simple and do daily specials
-A lot of wasted space, break up the room some how. Not great when there are heaps of people there, but room feels empty.
Accom saved place and would come back for that alone.
M.
Amazing views, good food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
G. M.
The food here is fantastic. Great views and helpful staff.
F. H.
Beautiful place. Very different from the old Headland Hotel. Would be nice for a wedding. Nice lunch of fish n chips for $28, and a cold beer.
S. S.
Not to bad. Good selection of food and beer.
T. M.
An absolutely beautiful spot, the views over uncrowded beaches are refreshing and the selection of food and beverages are also very good...
d. r.
Great covid19 contact controls.
Great breakfast - eggs Benny, b&E roll
Beautiful day topped off our experience
R. H.
Good menu, reasonable prices, quick service.
P. C.
Great food and atmosphere..Get down there!
S. M.
The views are great of course. Lovely location for a special occasion but the salad we had was not really value for money. Looked the part but too expensive.
J. H.
They need to improve this place, quite a bit. It's got a great location and the rooms are nice but the food and beverage needs some work. We've tried it twice and both times have walked away disappointed. Could be teething problems...
C. K.
Stayed the night in the spacious apartments. Absolutely beautiful.
Could have cooked breakfast in the room, but opted for to have breakfast cooked for us. Excellent food, quick service and good value.
G. W.
Our family gathering of 40 loved it here. Everyone was very happy with their rooms. My mother's 90th birthday was a beautiful, memorable event.
M. P.
Great location nice food and atmosphere. A modern version of the old pub but with more. You dan see the ocean from both sides lovely views north and south.
M. H.
Massive lines to order lunch on a public holiday and food was overcooked but decent enough.
C. D.
So much potential but missing the mark. Note this is a review of the Bistro / Bar.
Pros:
- Nice staff / attentive service
- Amazing views & lovely outside bar area
- Beer is cold and had a good cocktail & wine menu.
Cons:
- BZZZZZ!!! - THE MOST ANNOYINGLY LOUD & OFFENSIVE FOOD BUZZERS. Be careful if you have a weak heart because this thing gave us a massive fright. (I do not understand why restaurants think buzzers are a good idea, when there are other ways to manage this problem). Yuck.
- Decor is bland and lacks any consideration to internal design and use of / breaking up of large spaces... aka "vibe"/"atmosphere"/"feng shui".
- Too many TV's.
Food was OK to good, but room for improvement.
All these problems are resolvable, which I really hope they do, because it could be a really great place to go for a beer and some pub food.
F. W.
If you like busy and lots of people this is a great place. Lots of choice in food, great view, though this photo was taken during the fires.
D. Z.
Good food, good atmosphere, great views.
P. W. (.
Mixed feelings. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Some of the food was good but the veggie spring rolls were weird and the sweet&sour sauce was atrocious.
It's not cheap so I expected more but it's a very popular place.
H. H.
This place is awesome. Have had three great lunches there and it is always awesome. Would recommend to anyone for a Sunday afternoon or weekend escape from Sydney.
M. P.
Nice place. All Covid-19 protocols being followed. Meal was nice but had way too much coleslaw (half a plate!)
A. T.
Location is great with views from both sides. The restaurant and bistro is also nice. Had coffee but will certainly come back for food.
S. G.
Most enjoyable venue for lunch and a chat with a good friend. Breeze. View. Service. Food. Several seating areas to choose from. Tops.
R. H.
Nice view, nice food, not flexible with food on the menu. Asked for more salad instead of chips. Got the normal sized salad. Not cheaper. Prices seem fixed.
D. W.
Magnificent views, nice atmosphere, and good food.
A. L.
Great food. Very COVID conscious... so pleasing. Great facilities. Staff were really good.
B. L.
I thought the prices were a bit on the high side, wasn't much to the slaw, but the schnitzel was nice.
S. E.
Great spot.
Nice view.
Lunch was beautiful.
Great little find on our tourist drive to Sea Cliff Bridge.
C. D.
Very nice food. Fabulous views. One of my favourite places
B. R.
It was a wet day. Still cosy inside food very good lovely views
J. B.
Headlands is a great modern hotel with some great views of the coastline, the service is great, the food is delicious and the drinks are cold. If you're after an afternoon beer on the weekend look no further
L. M.
Staff very helpfull food great but service a little slow had to wait about 45 minutes
M. F.
Food quality excellent. Wait time not so good but worth the wait
J. A.
Good assortment of menu items. Meals are very generous in size.
M. M.
Great food and location alcohol very exp
L. H.
Amazing coastal views from both sides! A classy pub vibe with good food - great seating to take in the views - great for big groups and gatherings too.
G. P.

Always good here and food was great, service and a great location as well.
J. R.

G. B.
Very enjoyable good service and a lovely meal
L. H.
This is fabulous place to say as you drive down the south coast. It has amazing views and the staff and friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend it.
L. B.
Absolutely in LOVE with this beautiful place.scenery food drinks and staff are all just wonderful.you can easily just lose yourself in the whole experience..it's certainly a place to go to and de-stress.its one of those dreamy places you'll visit and wonder how can make live here?...

Sweltering hot so we popped in for a lite feed & wine..lovely north easterly blowing..food good..wine hit the spot..will bw back..
N. F.
Nice food, happy hour... cosy and warm in the winter time. Stunning ocean and escarpment views
K. F.
Fantastic place to stay for a couple of days or more. Up market, fabulous staff, food and menu are excellent. Love the place. Stayed twice already.
A. C.
Good food, drinks, coffee fantastic views
B. K. (.
Great views, good food
The room was lovely. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft, but that's probably a matter of taste.
A. C.
Sunday afternoon lunch was fantastic. Very busy but staff are very welcoming, polite and friendly
C. C.
Spectacular views with direct beach access. Accomodation is outstanding with room service and / or bistro.
J. K.
Great venue over looking the coast
M. M.
Just another huge impersonal pub.
T. G.
Nice place. Loved the location with views of the beach. Large rooms. Unfortunately there were a few cockroaches running around in the kitchen area.
G. B.
Excellent Snitty although i would prefer the pepper sauce in a jug rather than poured all over. Great location👍
w. R.
Great views good food very busy which is a good thing
A. H.
Great views and good food.
W. S.
Wow, what can I say, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Superb ocean view + great customer service + great food. I will come back, that's for sure!
m. “.
Food wasn't great neither was the service but the drinks and views were
C. B.
Superb location with north and south expansive coastal views, good food and service. Is that all that's needed?
S. S.
Ultimately a really nice place, awesome location and view. Bit expensive for what is really pub fare, but you'd expect it given the great views and how close it is to 2 beaches.
D. W.
Good food small Salmon portion although very delicious. Lucky the hostess accidentally ordered and charged us for an extra meal..
C. B.
Nice ambience, live music but there was a 1 hour wait for the food.
M. H.
The meals were disappointing, over-priced. Our table wasn't cleared. The view were spectacular though.
R. S.
Food was OK if a little expensive. Nice pub. Newly renovated. By the looks of it. A little impersonal maybe. Friendly, helpful staff.
S. R.
Beautiful outlook ocean views, modern great location, but having to wait over an hour for a bistro meal too long.
S. M.
Nice vews, ok menu but we had to wait a little to long for the food to come out. They are fairly new so i hope the long wait is only teething problems.
D. b.
Great views excellent food choices on Sunday with 3 pop up for stands. Fresh seafood, Mexican, Asian + Menu at hotel
R. D.
The room was very spacious, but without a view. The reception closes at 7pm so no chance for late check-in, even though the pub is open until 12pm.
H.
Went for a family Christmas lunch but not an xmas tree in sight !!! Food ok but I am in a wheelchair and food was above my head so needed help !!! Think the day could have had mire atmosphere
F. P.
Beautiful bistro. Food is delicious, portions are massive, coffee and iced chocolate is yummy. Staff are friendly. Has an outdoor area where you can sit with your pets. The views are beautiful
S. D.
I have already written a lengthy review of this hotel. It has only improved from then to now. The coffee is better and they have added another front section. Go and see for yourself.
M. W.
Great location that is badly let down by the low quality food. Had breakfast there today. It wasn't very busy at all. Coffee order was messed up when we received two flat whites instead of the cappuccino that was ordered. Bacon and egg roll was ok but the hash browns were poor. Small fry up was below par. Bacon was dry and hard. Nothing was seasoned properly. Service was average. Left pretty disappointed and won't be in a hurry to return.
D. B.
Location is great. Room layout/design is great. Cleanliness is substandard for the price. Food under furniture. Sticky floors.
G. W.
Great food and a great choice as well
B. L.
Loved our visit there for lunch on a Friday so not as busy as a weekend . My chicken poke bowl was beautiful and my husband enjoyed the duck. Views in all sides are lovely. Plenty of options for seating. Lovely experience.
J. T.
Walking distance to the beach, good view too. Quiet st, lots of parking. Room was spacious and very clean
J.
I went for lunch, had fish and chips, got a big portion and it tasted really good. The restaurant had a beautiful view over the ocean.
S. M.
Very nice place, take visitors to views are awesome. Staff helpful and friendly. Food good to inside and outside seating
a. h.
Lovely place
You need to Visite it and have a delicious food and good time 🙂
A. B.
Great place out in the sun on the lounge furniture. Food is always good and staff are so friendly
s. g.
Very good food and very good view! What else you need? Oh a vibrating device to tell you when the food is ready? SURE!
C.
Nice modern pub on the headland. Food is a bit average though. The risotto in particular was the worst I've ever eaten.
J. D.
So much potential if it was run properly
T. Y.
Great spot for a beer and the food is pretty damn good as well. The view, better than Scarborough I reckon.
C. O.
Nicely appointed. Our ground floor 1 bed apartment was pretty dark inside so probably best to stretch to an ocean view place if one is available
K.
Celebrated a birthday lunch at Headlands today, beautiful views but a tad disappointed in the food. Had the Korean tasting plate and the delicate morsels were lost in the sauce which was so overpowering.
B. O.
Good food and generous serves. Good Vegan options.
N. R.
Scene and Good both are amazing. Friendly staff with a clean and classy sitting area worth a road trip and have a lunch here on a weekend
G. W.
Great food beautiful views
J. R.
Place is great food is very good pleasant views
I. Z.
Great location. Views all around, ocean , beach, mountains. Great outdoor seating. Ample parking at front door. Very pleasant environment. Very short walk to beach if u desire. Prices appear to be very reasonable ( have not considered hotel part ).
Service and staff generally very efficient and friendly. The drive from here to Stanwell Tops , along to ocean , is highly recommended or a walk if u are particularly fit.
W. R.
Great food and well looked after.
I. W.
Alot better than the old bikie pub, which was paint black on the inside of the bar!
