c. k.We stayed here for 1 night and were very pleased, wished we had being able to stay longer. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is great if using the lake. Kids enjoyed their pool and tennis courts. We had dinner at their restaurant and was very good food. We sat outside on their deck and enjoyed overlooking the water.
L. C.We enjoyed our stay, only was disappointed that there were No service's for towels to be replaced or taken away , and the bins in room not emptied and rubbish bags replaced. All fine if staying 1 night but when your staying 2 or more. Most lovely scenery all around.
E. V.Really enjoyed my stay here!! Was such a wonderful welcome to the room on a super hot day to find the air-conditioned room was pre cooled upon our arrival, and riding motorcycles all day in the heat the appreciation went a long way!
Loved the rooms had a verandah of sorts to store our bikes. Loved the BBQ facilities and huge open grassy areas to sit on and relax. The pool is AMAZING, and was enjoyed by everyone.
The only negative was the bathroom had absolutely no were to put your personal items like make-up, toothpaste etc. A small shelf would have been great. If that was there 5 stars would have been given.

B. P.I arrived late on my way to Melbourne, and was very tired, lucky me there was still a room available and I ended up staying 4 nights as I enjoyed the room, the holiday atmosphere, the pool, the service, the genuine family caring atmosphere, and Shanna was legend!

D.Great time, cabin was clean staff were friendly, great pool, bike track was fun, gold course was fun, very quiet relaxing at the same time. The grass was so green and perfect. The room was decent, the bed and door were busted and squeaky. But their was aircon, a good bathroom and a spacious kitchen for those who are cooking. Very Very clean. Loved it would come again.

B.A great location on the Hume Weir . The park can be overcrowded and over regulated in peak season.
The cabins range from basic to very comfortable.

C. T.We had our family holiday at Hume Lake Resort and it was absolutely wonderful. Great facilities, wonderful pool and beautiful scenery. A calm, relaxed and tropical vibe! The staff were very accommodating and were fantastic at answering all our queries in a fast and friendly manner. Highly recommend! (To the lady who posted about this place being “hell on earth”, I think you have reviewed the wrong place!!!) Lake Hume resort is wonderful! We will be back 😊
D. G.The Motel rooms are dated yet very clean, the room was airy enough and is airconditioned etc yet the rooms have a very 1970's "Bates Motel" feel about them. The location is great, I walked down to the weir and had a swim in the morning, watched the sun rise over the mountains and was very peaceful. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice and reasonably priced.

The cabin we stayed in was clean and spacious. It was heated and included everything, pots, pans, plates and cutlery. It is so beautiful and relaxing.

l. a.What an awesome weekend away!!! We are all so thrilled with the service, facilities and vibe of the Hume resort. From the complimentary mini golf and tennis to the awesome fire pit we played guitars around during the night. Pete was extremely accommodating and very chilled, which made for an even more relaxing getaway. We were very lucky to be offered the chance of late check out without even asking, how goods that! That honestly never happens... And the boat shed, with its awesome fun staff, beautiful views and delish food and cocktails how could you go wrong. Thank you so much from all of us, we had a ball!

M. B.My beautiful bride and I were married at the LHR.
I can say, without a doubt, that they exceeded expectations in every respect. The facilities were superb, the food absolutely incredible (every dish superbly seasoned and cooked)and the drinks cool and refreshing (try the Honeyed Whiskey Espresso Martini - they say its a desert but it drinks perfectly either way).
But without doubt, its the staff that made our wedding experience brilliant. To the owners of LHR - congratulations on creating such a wonderful environment for us to have a great weekend but more importantly well done for employing such wonderful people. From the team that set up the venue - Stacey and Shanna, in particular, to the staff on the night, the chefs and the great restaurant people on the night after (especially Alexei), every single person went out of their way to accommodate our dreams for a brilliant night. Attentive, good humoured but never intrusive, these people who work so hard and amazingly long hours to ensure we never went without, thank you.
If you ever need a reference, we`d be delighted to do so. Rest assured we will be back to dine and enjoy your wonderful hospitality again.

b.I booked the hotel room & it was great. Bed was comfy, bathroom was sanitised & sparkling clean. Nice pool & bbq area. The standout staffer was the asian housekeeper, she was helpful & had a big smile :-)

S.The motel is in a great location close to the dam. The room was okay, nothing flash but the bed was comfortable. The Boatshed restaurant was amazing. I was not expecting anything fancy, but the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. It was so good I ordered myself dessert and then went back the next morning for breakfast. The restaurant definitely gets 5 stars!
The location is also fantastic for finding great photography spots with glorious colour .

We did look through the windows at the apartments we originally booked and they did look very good. The view from the dining room, where we had a cold but very nice buffet breakfast. T. M.We stopped here enroute to a family event and needed a nice place to stop for the night. A staff member was kind enough to bring us an electric floor heater when we asked, and that made a significant difference. Location was beautiful and very peaceful. Definitely worth taking a family to this hotel.
C. W.An OK place to stay. No WiFi or mobile reception in our room, so that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Not much to do apart from lake related activities and tennis. Mini golf course is usable but not very interesting and poorly maintained. Staff were friendly, but whoever cleaned our room must have stopped halfway - didn't replace the bin liners and certainly didn't wipe down the bathroom dresser table as there was a dead spider on it throughout our stay. On the plus side, most of the food we had at the restaurant was good. However the kids chicken came with a rather spicy sauce, which was a bit of a surprise. Thankfully our kids are somewhat ok with chilli.
T. M.A friend and I have just returned from a very relaxing weekend at the Lake Hume Resort, and are already looking forward to the next time. The bathroom has seen some years but really isn't that bad and as for the room I thought it was fine. We had a little of the continental then went into town for a proper breakfast at half the cost.
P. D.A wonderful location on the banks of lake Hume, very well laid out, very clean rooms and surroundings, great wedding location has it all, well worth the visit.
T. M.We have been going with a big group for years but are all questioning whether to return. A perfect spot for a leisurely cup of tea after a long drive. The grounds were very well kept and it was great to see so much birdlife, including the resident peacocks.
M. C.Super comfortable cottages, great pool and easy access to the lake for boats and swimming. The Boat Shed Restaurant is one of the best outside a metropolitan area. Highly recommended.
T. M.Advised by reception we had been upgraded as the King room had been more recently renovated. The hotel rooms (only) are clean and basic but don't be caught out. Hotel to be commended as well as helpfull staff. We will be back next year as our annual event is held in the same spot but we definitely won't be staying in.
T. M.A place to sleep at night, however upon arrival the entire facility was amazing and the reviews we had read did not do the resort justice. For the price we we not expecting much and were very pleasantly surprised. I don't think we'd be back …
T. M.The facilities were good but not true resort quality and were showing their age. Everything was clean, and the grounds were neat and tidy. Over all: location good. I'd recommend staying here (in a cottage if your budget allows) and would like to come back for a longer stay.
W. M.I would have to say that the accomodation is decent..cabin walls are thin and therefore they're chilly in dead of winter but extra blankets can be supplied for a comfy nights sleep.
'The Boat House' resort restaurant is a great meal aswell.

T. M.I enjoyed the night at the Lake Hume Resort. Lovely views of Lake Hume and surroundings. The dam is over the road and Lake Hume surrounds the area so it is very scenic and serene. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was just cereal and toast.

M.The ""property"" is very old and is in need to of a major upgrade etc. The breakfast was up inviting and we were offered tea or cappuccino on the way in but they failed to tell us that there would be an extra charge this was very cheeky. The perfect location in Albury if you just want to get away from it all.
T. M.It's fair to say vthat we were looking forward to this overnight stay. Not far from the Hume Highway it offers bungalows or motel rooms. There was a veran*** out the side of the room, where we could sit and relax. Rates are super reasonable and you're right on the lake.
T. M.Very scenic location next to Hume dam. To cap it all off, we were overcharged for the room we had booked and had to ask for a refund, in the price difference. The paper thin walls let you hear almost everything that is going on in rooms nearby.
