O. G. D.Great rooms, clean and the building seems quite new. Friendly staff, and food is excellent quality and good value. If you are a light sleeper the train line will bother you.
C. O.Good place, well run, friendly. Always a little funny when a fancy hotel says NO CASH KEPT ON PREMISES but this was a still a nice little spot by a nice little creek. Attached to a club. Convenient.
S. M.We are home now, but still talking about how good it was. Normally there is some little niggly thing that you could say could be improved, but no, it was perfectly clean, perfectly appointed, spacious, comfortable, convenient, quiet, and the walk-through to the club for the restaurant is a huge plus. The breakfast was great value and the restaurant had meals that were huge and tasty. We will definitely return, even if we don't need to!
S. S.Modern, clean, comfortable and good value accommodation attached by walkway to a club and bistro. Nice and close to the beautiful Speer's Point reserve. Will definitely be back.

G. M.Very comfortable bed. Nice and clean room. Breakfast is a good price, sadly most of the food is almost cold at the buffet (need to turn the warming temp up).
The only real downer is sitting on the lovely balcony and having to listen to the droning of the radio controlled model planes at 8 am on the weekend and every other day.
R. D.The dining room was about half full and the meals were served in good time. A good selection of food & generous serves. My Spiced-Chicken pizza was so good I ate the lot! (normally 4 or 5 pieces and I'm done). My wife enjoyed a Sweet potato Risotto but couldn't finish it off. Overall, quite nice.
o. x.Stayed here with my partner. Was super easy to check in and out. Comfortable beds nice bathroom. The balcony was really nice over looking the golf course and the court yard.
G. S.Neat, smart, very well-maintained hotel. Large rooms with everything you need. Club Macquarie adjacent for meals. Friendly, helpful staff.
Negatives are very minor. No breakfast, despite being advertised, when I stayed there. Was understandable, as the numbers of guests were low due to corona hysteria. Foxtel channels had also been deactivated. If you have a river-facing room you end up with noise from the train line. The trains are not that frequent though and you get used to it.
Overall, a great place to stay in the Lake Macquarie area.
G.Well maintained accomodation, clean and new fixtures. Comfortable 2 king beds, plenty of parking and calm waters just at your doorsteps. with the Macquaire club conveniently located with good meals. Close to shops and esplanade with beautiful cafes.

B. S.I ordered the fish and chips and requested to have the chips and the fish cooked and little longer and they were happy to do it and it turned out amazing. Best fish and chips I've have it a long while. The service staff were amazing and were very polite and happy to engage in conversation
F. M.Nice clean and comfortable. We arrived just after 12am and was able to enter with no problems. There is also a bistro for a hot breakfast. Free Wi-Fi and my husband is excited about the golf course next door. I would highly recommend.

A. B.Really good food at reasonable prices, a few different beers on tap from the main stream which is great to see. Kids eat free all week during 2016 so you can get away with 2 adults and 2 kids meals around $35.
