J. D.My wife and I had the best most relaxing wedding anniversary holiday here. Our stay was so comfortable, the place felt homely, the views in the gardens were magical.
Alison looked after us, we've never met someone more hospitable while Danielle provided us with delicious breakfasts. The rooms were lovely, the bathrooms were clean and the little amenities provided meant we could have a relaxing stay.
If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place.
A. R.Maddies at bolawarra is a fantastic spot to eat and stay, the boutique cafe/breakfast bar food was cooked beautifully with splendid garden views stretching across Maitland. The staff of the bed and breakfast created a very interment experience providing excellent hospitality.
The accomodation itself is stunning and well designed! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
B. K.We recently held a wake here after a funeral and the staff could not have been more accomodating during every step of the planning. The food was fantastic, staff incredibly kind and friendly and the venue and gardens were just beautiful. I will definitely be looking to hold future venues here.

The service staff were amazing and went out of the way to ensure we were comfortable, with special mention to Ashley who looked after us from first email contact until we said goodbye.
The food was delicious and just kept coming!
I also caught sight of a regular breakfast being served that also looked amazing!
I highly recommend!!

N. G.Lovely old home, clean, included all that you need (toiletries, hairdryer, towels etc), great comfy beds and had lots of room for our 2 families (4 adults and 2 kids). Beautiful gardens and spacious verandah that was ideal for afternoon drinks watching ghe kids play. Wonderful hostess, glorious food, impeccable service. Breakfast was endless and beautifully presented every day.

E.Loved staying at Maddies. Fantastic service, the continental breakfast is the best I have ever had (you wont leave hungry), and they were very accommodating of our pooch aswell. They even let us pick some mandarins off the trees in the garden to take home. Highly recommended and will definitely ne staying there on oir next visit to the Hunter.

E. K.Great, quaint and comfortable B&B. It was a pleasure to stay at Maddie's. Allison, the innkeeper, went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and even prepared us breakfast to accommodate our very early 5 am departure.
Our room was clean and had a nice claw old fashioned bathtub to take a proper hot bath. Don't expect to find 5 star hotel amenities here, it feels more like staying in the guest room of your great Aunt's country house. However, it is cosy and definitely a good choice for a day in the Hunter Valley
