Excellent facilities, our room had a toaster, kettle, microwave and coffee machine.
Reception has a selection of wine and beer.

J.After struggling to find a pet friendly accomodation for a whole day, I rang this motel to be greeted by a kind gentleman, Prabjoth, who was generous to arrange two rooms at a short notice, and did everything to make us feel comfortable, welcome and looked after. During our stay Prabjoth always checked on us and when it was time to leave, we were given a warm farewell by his beautiful family. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone who wants to have a quiet time with great service at their finger tips.

K. B.This motel is a truly family-run business that is welcoming and safe.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and recently redecorated. Beds are comfortable, linen great and an array of pillows means that you will find one to suit you.
Good TV and nice toiletries are a notch above your usual motel and the lovely strong hot shower is fantastic.
Most motels provide a small fridge and kettle but here the room had these plus a microwave and toaster, very useful.
A lovely family own the place and I would definitely stay again.
Anyone planning on staying in beautiful little Murrurundi needs to be mindful that like many towns in the district it's a highway and railway town, and wherever you stay in the town you will most likely hear trucks and trains in the night. Earplugs are always a good idea anyway for motel travelling.

P. S.Before the lockdown we were lucky to get away for a week, stopping overnight at the Motel Valley View at Murrurundi. Super comfy heated
beds, very friendly owners, a couple of great pubs down the road selling nice food. The motel is also pet friendly which was good as we had our 6 month old pup with us. We will return.

The family are so attentive and lovely. The motel also offers pet friendly rooms which had no pet odour and was really clean. If you are tossing up where to stay in the area, look no further!

Beautiful little motel in the valley. Very pet friendly, our little puppy loved it. Owners went above and beyond during our stay. Absolutely lovely couple. Rooms were very clean, heating was good, electric blankets. Good water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. Local pub will deliver food.

The owner waited till 12.30am just for me to arrive and saved the day!

Comfy rooms and all you need in them, could maybe do with a bit of freshening up but overall pretty good. Very happy to help with recommendations for dinner also, and a courtesy bus.

The owners also provide home cooked Indian food which was very reasonable price and freshly made. Overall I would rate the motel 10 out 10 for an overnight stay if traveling along the New England Highway.

It's an old-fashioned one but we stayed in a completely upgraded room that had a very serene ambience with soothing deep blue walls and bright artworks. The owner/manager was most helpful and friendly, and offered a touch of the personal.

G. L.Pleasantly surprised with my stay. I didn't expect a lot from the web photos but when I arrived it was easy to see the young proprietors were in the process of upgrading the rooms and amenities. Unusually for a motel without a restaurant they offered a selection of meals, could arrange for a meal to be delivered from the township or could have a shuttle bus collect us to take us into town. For low budget accommodation I thought it offered great value and I will stay there again in future.

W. A.EXCELLENT! The rooms are comfortable, clean and well priced but the FOOD is the highlight. We were met by Preeti and Jot the friendliest motel owners I've ever met. There's the usual Aussie fare on the menu but Preeti's speciality is authentic north Indian food. We had a great feast. Highly recommended.
S. L.Friendly staff and place offers breakfast and/or dinner served to your room. Dinner was delicious and brought to my room at the exact time I asked for it. TV mounted but at a decent height and the HDMI port was easy to reach. Pillows seemed hard and uncomfortable. Loud airconditioner. Hot water tap for my sink wasn't working. Desk was very tall and awkward to reach. WiFi was okay but gets a little congested at night.

J. C.Great place with amazing owners. We hit a kangaroo on the way to Murrurundi and the car was written off. We were freaking out because we had a 4 month old baby and a funeral to get to. Not only did they give us a comfy, clean room to stay in but they also helped us organize a tow truck and everything else we needed to get back on track. Train tickets at Murrurundi were sold out and they then gave us a lift to Scone about an hour down the road where we could get a train. I cannot begin to express how appreciative we feel. Absolute legends and we recommend the Valley View Motel wholeheartedly.
