J. S.We had a two bedroom suite with views of the water. It was delightful. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Washer and dryer that worked worked great. Complimentary porta-cot for my toddler. Amazing location. Huge balcony. We would definitely stay again.
B. T.We had terrible weather so it was not the best of trips to begin with.
The apartment was ok. And the staff are really nice.
Thought it would be nice to stay right in the centre of town to walk everywhere. Wasn't possible with the weather. So that was a fail.
Too noisy with the neighbours, too many people moving past the front door and having conversations into the night. And some not moving by just standing around talking. Noise travels too easily.
If it was 9pm wouldn't mind but after midnight is a bit tough on the other guests trying to keep kids asleep.
Then there's the idiots leaving the pub in their cars and yelling and carrying on past 3am.
Would be looking to stay somewhere quieter the next time we came up.
A. F.The view over the water was great. The apartment itself is a little worn, but comfortable enough. Oddly, you will need to bring your own toilet paper and they don't provide hand soap for the bathroom... That was a first. Also be aware there is no internet/wifi, dvd player, and tv reception isn't great. As we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it wasn't more than a mild inconvenience but worth noting for preparation purposes.
j. l.Clean, Spacious studio. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our rooms looked like it has been newly painted. Best location and free same level car park made pram access easy. We went with another family with kids and booked adjacent room. The sound proof was excellent as we had a baby with us ourselves and we couldn’t hear each other. 5 star!

S.The pool photo's don't relate to the real pool. You will get pool envy of the Oaks which is opposite.
The pool needed a clean and the photo's were misleading as there wasnt a shade cover any more.
The room was nice tidy, though the sofa bed was rusty and hard to extend then put back.
Would have been nice to get the confirmation of a late check out.
(After an original request then a verbal with staff and a call to what seemed to be a call center from the room?)
Location was Awesome, close to shops and most things. Parking was fine for our visit busy but no dramas. Great with the COVID regulations.
Lovery polite staff, seem to need better communication between staff?
The apartment was still a bit tired.. loose doors on cupboards, fridges needed a defrost.
We enjoyed our time at the Entrance.
S.This is my second time staying here and I will always be returning for now on , I won’t even bother to look for anywhere else . My sister , her daughter and my cousin all stay together in a 2 bedroom apartment and had an absolutely amazing time.
The girls at reception Diane and Karen went above and beyond in making our stay so amazing. We were greeted with a very friendly greeting and both ladies were so helpful and accommodating to all our needs . Thank you ladies you make the Nesuto a even more pleasant place to stay .
The apartments are clean , bright , well equipped and stocked with milk tea and coffee .
This is definitely my place to stay .Thank you for a fabulous stay.
N. B.i had three apartments booked for my family.
1 Poor Air Conditioning. There was a split towards the end of the lounge and the bedrooms were suffocatingly hot.
2. No receptionist to call for help after 5 pm.
3. The glass partition wall of the shower in ensuite of room 607, fell on my son..Thank God he wasnt hurt or glass broken. He managed to erect it back in.
4. The shower sprays in the main toilets in the apartments was so so so strong and sudden..my kids slipped n fell banging their heads in the tub.
Excellent location..Excellent parking n close to all the happy places. i will go again, but will ask for these things to be fixed. They shdnt advertise that its airconditioned..it isnt. Either have ducted air conditioning or splits in each bedroom too.

Some of the apartments starting to show their age, but refurbishment program is underway and they are of a good size.
All in all a good place.
R. K.Great location with a nice 2 min pedestrian path to the memorial park. The studio apartment was ok and the ac worked well. The third sofa bed seemed too clunky to convert to bed so I ended up sleeping on the sofa itself. The price was quite steep at 350 a night for a studio so I was expecting a nice modern apartment but this one was quite old with a very utilitarian set up. All in all, I would come here again, but just because of its location and not the apartment.
R. W.Great location and water view, within walking distance from the beach. I have stayed here several times over the years. The apartments are clean, affordable and well-furnished, with own laundry and kitchen (with complimentary tea and coffee sachets). The beds are comfy and plenty of wardrobe space. The shower has very nice hot water and good water pressure, was very relaxing.
The downstairs cafe is fairly mediocre, the food is not worth the price to pay. However the location is within proximity to many good quality restaurants and diners.
The pool and pool area is quite small, not suitable for swimming but is clean and relaxing.
Definitely recommend this place for an affordable stay in The Entrance, a short drive away from other Central Coast beach towns such as Terrigal.
P. S.A perfect place to stay when in The Entrance. Close to everything, Very clean and big rooms and the view of the sunset is awesome. Friendly staff. A wonderful place to stay.
D. N.At Waldorf The Entrance we had an enjoyable overnight stay (a group of 3 friends). Our room had a nice view and had enough facilities for cooking and preparing food. My single bed was comfortable but my friend's one was quite saggy. The Queen bed was also comfortable. The fly screen on the sliding door had come off. Overall it's a nice place but a little older and could do with a few tweaks to revamp it.
T. P. S.Cheap priced accommodation, which is a huge plus, on the minus side... Pool was unusable, very dirty which I should have expected considering the renovations.
We stayed in a deluxe Waterview studio apartment, view was not as we expected or would have liked, the noise from the street level hot food shops exhaust extraction fans was annoying when trying to get an early nights sleep.
We would go back again, mainly because of the price of the accommodation, hopefully next time the pool will be cleaned and ready for use.
Perhaps the website for this hotel should stipulate that the pool is temporarily out of use due to renovations.
J. A. I.The room itself has been refurbished recently and is fairly updated - the shower and bath area with washer/dryer is recently updated, well tiled. There are two issues with the bathroom: the vent fan has not been checked and does not work - meaning the humidity builds up badly during showers and is clogged with fluff (I have a feeling the dryer fluff is responsible, as I see no other venting for it, so it would exit from the main bathroom vent fan.). The second issue is that the shower wasn't designed well - the shower head is too close to the far wall and the soap holder is on the wall at the same point where the shower spray falls - so I'm cramped in trying to wash and keep banging my right arm into the soap holder.
The kitchen likewise is nicely furnished, but the refrigerator cut-out is directly against the wall, so we cannot open the fridge door past about 40 degrees open. The room is well furbished and the indoor furniture and patio are well kept.
There is construction going on for floors 4-6, so expect some noise during the week if you're in those rooms, as the rooms are being updated and rebuilt on those floors, or at least the outside. The scaffolding seems quite secure, and I imagine that as soon as it's finished, it will be very nice.
The pool is likewise away from the construction, but is not very large - there is a tile missing and the pool was dirty with floating debris (so it doesn't appear cleaned very often. For the number of rooms even just on floors 4-6, the pool is very small. If no one else is in the pool, it's perfect for kids to practice swimming in supervised, as it's the perfect size for that.
The sheets on the beds were clean and well made, except for the sofa bed (which was dirty and apparently had not bee replaced).
The walls are quite thin, as well, and seemingly with no insulation for sound - our neighbours put on what I believe was Spanish opera at 0730 on saturday morning, and we could hear it quite clearly, enough that I wasn't sure if they weren't singing it themselves -I've - next door. This was hear from the far bedroom which is furthest from the main kitchen area and with the doors closed, too. So, if you need quiet, you need to ask for a room with no neighbours on floors 4-6.
It is *very close* to the main promenade and if there is an event on, it is very convenient, so if you're not in the room much and are up early, this may be perfect for your needs, as there is plenty of open space. Couples were practicing dancing out on the concrete walk yesterday in preparation for today, as there was plenty of space, even with the WIP refurbishing work, for them to dance with plenty of space.
d.Amazing experience! Close to the beach, activities, shops, lots of restaurants nearby, accommodation management easy to deal with. Plus free convenient parking. We will come back for sure and recommend this place!
B. L.Great location, only a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Our 2 bedroom apartment (pool side) was spacious, clean and spot on for the asking price. Friendly staff and good amenities including a dedicated secure car park. The reviews out there make it seem worse than it really is. You'd be hard pressed to find somthing similar in this location for an affordable asking price.
T. M.We had a lovely stay. The balcony was spacious and overlooked the lake. To give the staff credit, they were polite and put a latch on the balcony door so the room would lock for us when we went out. The staff were great in arranging a room that was on the level and easily approached.
T. l. f.We booked a weekend away and the room was very spacious and clean. Great location, a short walk the main strip. Staff were helpful. If you've never been and are doing a late check-in, make sure to ask for clear directions to the Waldorf car park! Overall, a great place to stay at The Entrance.

K. C.Okay but budget accomodation. The room is large & the presentation & cleanliness good. The location & parking great but the whole building looks dated. It's now mostly individual owners run by managers.
The water views is somewhat misleading as from level three it's only between buildings with a large tree blocking the outlook.
It's a good base & comfortable, the TV remote was a problem as several buttons do not work (on/off). No great drama though.

T. M.Stayed at the Waldorf in the studio apartment for an overnight stay and was pleasantly surprised with the size. Very Very clean. Very close to all the actioneverything was in short walking distance. The hoteliers and staff seemed nice. Not much facility in the hotel but we really needed a place to stay for the night.

T. M.I couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. Staff went out of their way to get me into my apartment early due to my earlier than expected arrival. The light breakfast included in the deal was much to be desired and would not recommend if you have to pay for breakfast.

Shower over the bath sprayed water to much over the floor, damaged wall around the shower. Balcony was very dirty. I complained and was moved to another apartment which was slightly better, balcony still a disgrace. Finger prints everywhere . I wouldn't reccomend this property to my friends
T. M.The apartments are a few minutes walk from the pelican feeding at the foreshore. We were allocated a secure parking spot and didnt really need our car throughput our stay. A nice continental breakfast in the coffee shop. We only stayed a night but could easily have stayed a week.
M. D.The apartment was spacious but soooo cold. The split system was inadequate for the area it needed to heat. Kitchen needs more equipment for cooking. No view and no sun on balcony so don't expect water view.
K.Room was renovated and clean, spots in the bathroom were a bit dirty but not a dealbreaker. The elevator and lobby smelt like cigarette smoke but also not a huge dealbreaker. Overall would come again.

T. M.The floor in the kitchenette was sticky. Sunday night in August so not too ***y people about. Balcony was poky and didn't give much of a view of anything but trees and a hotel roof directly in front. I knew exactly where it was so knew that the location was excellent.

The bathroom has such poor ventilation with a notice warning steam may set off a hallway SMOKE alarm, with fire brigade callout at guests expense.

T. M.We recently stayed at the Waldolf apartments at the entrance and found it ideal for what we needed. The plus is that you can park your car in the same floor level of your hotel room. ***y restaurants are located nearby and there is no need to get the car out to enjoy the scenery.
