B. N.A good local tavern serving a great selection of pub style meals. Servings are HUGE - almost too big. The kitchen could cut the size of the meals down and you would still roll out of there full. Good friendly staff too.

K. M.I can’t fault this place! Great variety of pub food, generous portions and reasonably priced. There is a lovely courtyard area where you can enjoy your meal. The staff are wonderful too.

K. N.Wasn't going to eat at the tavern because there were lots of cars out the front, thinking there would be no tables available. Before driving off to go elsewhere, we rang and was told there were some available. There was plenty of areas to sit both inside and out so don't let all the cars outside put you off.
I had the Squid with a side of chips and slaw ( a nice change from salad!) and my husband had the Fish and Chips. Both were big servings and delicious. My husband is fussy with beer on tap but commented how good his tasted.
Maybe some background music could be played in the tavern to add to the atmosphere.
A. Y.First time visiting for lunch on a Saturday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere inside and out. Plenty of space to sit outside on a nice day. And a couple of wood burning slow combustion fireplaces inside for when it's cold.
The food was really nice but quite large portions, so between 3 adults and 1 child we split a burger with chips, onion rings, and beef stew in a damper bowl. Which was plenty for us. Its sad to see other people leave so much food on their plates for it to just go to waste.
I would definitely go back again.

n. g.Great atmosphere, nestled off the main street in an old pub. The food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I settled on a buffalo burger, two chicken breasts, bacon, cheese, spicy sauce and coleslaw topped with a buffalo wing. Hard to eat but excellent all the same. The chicken breasts where freshly prepared in house and well cooked. In short a great pub lunch any day of the weekend.

A. H.This is a great casual dining venue. The food is basic but good. Not too expensive and also not so posh that you feel you need to sedate the kids. They have a nice outdoor dining area - one out the back has play equipment for the kids. So you can let them run wild

T. S.Just visiting from interstate, and it's so refreshing to experience this nice little pub in the middle of nowhere nestled by the mountains. The food here is DIVINE! We came with family who have just moved into the area, and this is their new retreat. Large servings on the Parmas, and well made salads. Kids couldn't even get through the pizza (which is a first). The Mezza plate, full of falefel, pitas & dips, is beyond remarkable. We sat outside in the back, while kids used the playground. Forget the 5 stars, I give it 10!!
