Wow they really mean it when they say they are a 5 star hotel. This place is absolutely beautiful. No corners are cut. I will never stay elsewhere when i return to Sydney again. The customer service blew me away, and that is more important than anything else to me. I was treated so well. Thank you Radisson Blue Sydney!

My husband and I had such wonderful experience for our recent overnight stay.
From the porter opening the car door with a warm welcome, to wonderful reception staff
(shoutout to Stephanie who attended to a few requests kindly, without fuss and extremely promt), to a beautifully appointed suite and a fuss free checkout. Our stay was in fact, faultless and was such a wonderful experience with genuinely happy staff to greet you.
Over the years we have stayed at many hotels and often are never drawn back due to ( mostly) a lack of service. We will absolutely be back on our next trip to Sydney. Thanks team for a relaxing night away from the kids!

Accommodation was fine but don't go to the breakfast buffet, was ordinary and the message in the letter upon arrival said that hot a la carte meals could be ordered with the full breakfast. No such offer was made when we went to breakfast and the buffet offering was 3 Star at best. Shame. I tried to explain at checkout and staff didn't seem to understand. I based it on a letter to their guests that clearly stated what the offer included and they did not meet expectations. Simple as that.

Awesome overnight stay @ Sydney CBD.
We checked in late at 8:30PM. Hotel manager granted us late checkout the next day.
Buffet breakfast was good. Pool facility is good as well.
Hotel staff are courteous and pleasant. Great service and experience overall.

Overall good stay. Central location and great pool amenities. Wasnt happy initially about the room rate through booking.com not being honored but we eneded up on a fair price.

I recently had the pleasure of spending my 2 week quarantine period at this great property in the heart of Sydney
From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out the entire team went over and above to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The food service was awesome and they took into account my dietary needs every day. The regular updates from the GM were a great way of coping with a difficult situation for the guests and no doubt the hotel staff as well. Every time I called reception, everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful, even taking time to ask how I was doing. The nurse that called every day did the same thing too, after the obligatory any COVID signs questions, they seemed to really care. As did the Police and Defence force teams that checked me in from the airport and at the hotel
I can only imagine how different having quarantine guests as opposed to paying guests should be, but you would never know the difference
Thanks to everyone for making a very difficult process, very enjoyable

We had very comfortable and luxurious stay at Radisson blu, Sydney. Friendly staff, walking distance to Sydney downtown; 5 stars to the hotel’s breakfast and as well as cleanliness

Just ok.
The rooms are ok. Too expensive for the price vs other hotels.
Concierge fantastic went above and beyond for us.
Main annoyance was I spent an hour calling every button on the phone one morning and no one picked up.

Comfortable bed. Was not informed that room clean and tidy only on request disappointed. Friendly obliging staff. Had a great espresso martini.

First week back after covid, first kitchen opening, first time welcoming back regular guests.
Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Patrick, Liam and their team in the Lady Fairfax restaurant delivered exceptional service and somehow pulled off a seamless sitting despite what I imagine what must have been chaos behind the scenes!
Stephanie and her team at the desk went out of their way to cater to every need and were particularly helpful.
Geoff in Valet was so friendly and attentive. We felt like VIPP guests at every point of our stay. Well done Raddison!

Really tops. Tops service, tops hotel. Pool is unreal. Toilets at swimming pool are unbelievable. Go here cause it's so tops.

I had a very pleasant stay here, with a comfortable King size bed

The management and courteous, helpful staff spared no effort in making our quarantine experience pleasant and comfortable. Our room spotless and spacious enough to keep up the step count, hot showers and an abundance of delicious, balanced meals delivered on time - no request was too much trouble. Apart from a longing for some breaths of fresh air, definitely five star service. Thank You.

I had a very good experience while having my quarantine here
Great food
Friendly staff
Good service
Experienced chefs
Apart from getting some fresh air and limited delivery time everything was great
Would love to visit on different circumstances
Thank you for making my stay easy and comfortable

Room is comfortable, spacious and clean. Evidence of little touches of luxury everywhere. Food (for quarantine guests) is superb. Tasty and well presented. Not too oily nor salty. A big shoutout to the chef, kitchen staff and the person who plans the menu. Nice to get a hot meal at least once a day, sometimes twice. Concierge staff are helpful and professional. Every staff tries their best to create a positive experience despite extraordinary circumstances (defence, police, nurses included). My only wish is that I could have even a small window to get some fresh air in.

All staff were friendly, the bed was comfy and buffet breakfast was great.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu during hotel quarantine. While my review might be more reflective of the quarantine experience, I think much of it will still be relevant for guests enjoying a post-pandemic stay.
I was in a superior twin room on the 4th floor and was very pleased with the space and amenities on offer. The bathroom is large and well lit with fantastic water pressure and heating. There is a window that can be opened in the bathroom that looks into the bedroom, this allows extra light in, an increased sense of spaciousness, and the ability to enjoy a bath and watch the television at the same time. For those of us calling the room home during quarantine, the bath makes for a great laundry basin and there is a decent range of options when it comes to areas to hang drying clothes.
Three large windows allow a good amount of natural light in during the day. It was a shame that they can’t be opened to allow fresh air in, but this is not such an issue when allowed to leave the room freely (as in more “normal” times). There wasn’t much of a view (I could see buildings and a little bit of sky) but that really wasn’t a big deal. The beds were comfy with nicely weighted duvets. A lot of thought has clearly been put into the layout of the room- much of the lighting setting can be accessed while lying in bed which is great (is there anything more frustrating than being ready for sleep and having to get up to switch all the lights out?), and the air conditioning controls are also close. There are numerous outlets around the room, including by the bed and desk, and the Internet was decent (I was able to stream shows, download apps, host zoom calls and share my screen, etc.).
In terms of amenities, my room came with an iron and ironing board, a robe, hair dryer, torch, safe, kettle (and tea and coffee), mini fridge with decent space, drinking glasses, wine glasses, mugs, and a cork screw. The TV is also pretty decent HOWEVER my greatest regret was not bringing my HDMI cable so I could connect my computer to it.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I genuinely felt that the hotel was trying hard to provide a good quarantine experience for their guests and I really appreciate the care they demonstrated in making us as comfortable as possible. They were incredibly prompt in delivering drop offs (such as Uber eats) as well as responding to requests for fresh towels or linens. The most frustrating aspect of my stay had to do with meals, I have a number of dietary restrictions including a severe tree nut allergy but still received meals including an entire range of foods I cannot eat (including nuts on many an occasion) despite routinely telling the team what I can’t eat and having them write it on the box my meals arrived in. I would like to note that the kitchen was receptive to my feedback, apologetic, and made efforts to better accommodate my dietary requirements, and my food options did improve as a result of this. Shout out to Nicole at front desk for helping connect me with the kitchen on this front, she was very helpful. The kitchen staff had great communication with me when there were issues, and the whole team in general (including the nurses) were a pleasure to talk with. Big thanks to everyone, they’re doing a great job.
Please note- the photos attached to this review were taken 14 days after arriving at the hotel (during which time no cleaning staff were allowed in the room).

The location is great and the rooms are big and clean. Since it's during covid time so any foreigners has to quarantine and was like a I was in jail... the food is not so good so if u happen to be there may have to order delivery... the TV is bit small but has lot to watch...

Currently in hotel quarantine and I’m very happy with the customer service and the room. It’s a very tough position to be in but they have keep it interesting with crosswords and the smart tv makes it so easy to stream your shows straight from your phone.
Thank you Radisson team. You’re doing a great job considering the crazy circumstances!

Positive negative vibes..
Lucky enough to reach here on my first booking, got my Visa in November 2020, and booked tickets for 15th December via Eithad Airways. No cancellations nothing Alhamdulilah!!
I arrived on 16th December and brought to Radisson Blue Sydney. Lemme give you quarantine experience of mine till now. I was told that quarantine hotels are very dirty and in a filthy state but to my surprise the hotel I am brought to is super clean. My room is big, quirky and clean I can't complain. Cozy, but a good kind of cozy I must say. There is a large window that do not open. (tried thrice today 😂 but it didn’t open)
In the room I do have a small fridge but no microwave. So, most of the times I have to eat cold food. They give us meals per day, more than enough for a person like me. I return most of the food. I can’t eat lots of food plus I'm a vegge lover and I don’t like chicken much. So, sometimes it’s hard for me to eat chicken and protein products. There is an electric kettle but it’s operation is weird, it switches on and off on its own. Being a tea lover, I am spending time counting my days daily.
The daily menu is posted on the telly each day and a combo of carbs, proteins. The hot meals are generally luke warm and gets cold if I am offering prayer or busy somewhere. BreakFast is okayish, I am generally a French toast and tea kind of person so swallowing cereals daily is bit hard for me. We are allowed to receive deliveries once a day, My husband sent me meals twice. I am losing my taste buds I guess. I can’t enjoy food alone, so the experience so far is 50/50...
Requests to the hotel are dealt professionally. I ordered brown bread toast yesterday and a milkpack which was delivered immediately. Medical team calls to ask for any symptoms every morning.
Aside from this, staff were friendly when we all entered and take us to the rooms along with luggage.
Overall it is a pleasant stay and the location is excellent, but it failed to meet the 5 star luxury that was advertised (due to food thingy) and that I was anticipating. .

In quarantine in the hotel (Nov 2020) and so far having a very good experience. The room is very spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff is very helpful, courteous and professional. Get three meals a day from the hotel and the food is very good (I am not a fussy eater and only alergic to shellfish) - the hotel provides a good variety of meals daily and the quantity is sufficient. All in all I would say Radisson is doing a pretty good job taking care of the quarantine 'guests' - Good job guys!!

We were under quarantine and spent 14 days. Food was excellent like some comfort when some body enclosed within the room only. Support from hotel management also excellent.

We were associates with 160pax other from Tonga Island and we all isolated in Radisson I appreciate the right choice of Australia GOV to allocate us to stay at this lovely place food was healthy, rooms are comfortably relaxing I truly love this place just in the heart of Sydney I occupied in 415 east wing which the view was not great for room isolated but I enjoyed my sleep part of my relaxing 😀 I trully love this place thanks to all the Food beverages for the health food. Stayed overnight before international flight.
Very luxurious for government mandated quarantine 😂
Police and army were super nice.
Hotel staff were polite and helpful.
Food was fine. Wifi worked.
Not much more you could ask for given circumstances.

Stayed at the Radisson under mandatory quarantine for 14 days. The staff were so friendly and understanding upon arrival. I had travelled for over 41 hours landing at 9:30pm evening and was only checking in at 11:40pm as the arrivals process from Sydney airport was extremely lengthy. I was very fortunate to have a balcony room on level 11 though this is very much based on availability so it’s never guaranteed. My stay was pleasant despite the chaos of managing a hotel under police and army regulation. They could not uphold a 5 star service (no laundry, you can’t choose time of meals). But after raising my dissatisfaction of the timeliness and quality of my meal (on two occasions breakfast arrived at 10am when the cut off was supposed to be 9:30am, and there are two images of sandwiches that looked like leftovers) they rectified that immediately and ensured I was delivered warm and/or complete food at the time designated. Mind you, I’m an early riser so waiting for breakfast from up to 4 hours was slightly upsetting. I resorted to Uber Eats several times and thankfully concierge staff were speedy with getting it up to my floor - so this is a good option if you absolutely cannot wait and do mind affording something of your choice. Principally one should not have to expense own meals after having to pay for this service just because the food is not totally up to scratch and I’m not even a picky eater. One thing the staff could do to help ease the waiting time and give people options is to possibly deliver all cold breakfast ingredients in the evening with dinner, and to provide menu options that guests can tick off to select (as some other quarantine hotels have done from what I know from friends arriving in SYD that same week). I have heard this being done in 460+ occupied quarantine hotels and merely sharing this learning for best practices as the hotel industry pivots to support this unique clientele. Otherwise thank Radisson for thier support and making my time a little more comfortable.

The location was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We had our room upgraded and the breakfasts were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this hotel to all our family and friends. Thanks for a great stay.

Made a big impression on me when the door staff offered a water and towel to me after I just returned from a run. Was able to refresh and towel down a bit before going on the elevator. Really made me feel like a welcome guest. Kudos to that idea, whoever came up with it. Was also upgraded to a suite and the check out time is Noon which is very nice when other hotels are 10am or 11am.
Very comfortable stay overall.

Great location! Room was a good size and had a good size bathroom. It was very clean. Pillows were a bit too soft and flat for my liking. I felt like my head was resting on the mattress. The buffet was over priced for how basic it was.
