Stayed here last week with my partner. It was our first time in the Hunter Valley and I'm so glad we decided to stay here! It's the most authentic Hunter Valley getaway accomodation anyone could ask for. This place is located on top of a hill so the views are incredible! I woke up early each morning and as soon as I pulled back the curtains I was amazed by the vivid pink sky and the hot air balloons peacefully floating by. The grounds surrounded by this place are so quiet and peaceful, as I went for an early morning walk I was greeted by kangaroos. The facilities here are great as there is a bbq ready for use as well as kitchen facilities.I also loved the tennis court with all equipment supplied. My only criticism would be that I wasn't that happy with the patio/balcony. There is no wall/fence breaking up each patio so the guests are free to just walk to other people's patios, in front of their rooms. I know there is a half fence in place but this does not provide any privacy or safety to each guest. I would have loved to sit out and read my book on the lovely outdoor furniture provided but it's too awkward with other guests sitting out on their patios. I would love to see some kind of barrier in place that provides some privacy and separation from other people's patios. Other than that the place is just perfect. I would definitely return when visiting the Hunter Valley again.

Brilliant 5 day stay with excellent hosts. They know the best places and restaurants to visit in the Hunter. Nothing was too much trouble. And... they have great wine and champagne too. Beautiful scenery.

was very quite .we were only ones there so was great .had the kitchen to cook breakfast . they give you bread & eggs we just brought some bacon .bed was so comfortable. it was good

This is the sixth year our golfing group has stayed here. Premises are spotless and owners most welcoming. Recent renovations have made the kitchen/lounge room and even nicer area than before. A new BBQ and outside area got plenty of use by our group, as did the tennis courts and pool. Beautiful views from the verandah's add to the attraction. Some of our group have come here for wine tasting weekends with wives and partners and they loved the proximity to the wineries. Owners, Ken and Sharon, have more plans to continue to improve the facilities.Thanks again for your hospitality.

Stay here regularly for work and wouldnt consider booking anywhere else. So clean and comfortable, excellent hospitality and just a superb location. Looking forward to getting up here on a weekend for a social stay :) Thanks again, see you soon

Great place to stay with a small group. Enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool which has a fridge, kitchenette juke box and area undercover for partying. Has a shared kitchen and lounge room and a bbq area outsude. Sharon and Ken were grest hosts. Very welcoming. Fantastic views.

The hospitality proved more than expected, the hosts were wonderful and couldn't do enough. The facilities are first class and we would not only highly recommend this establishment, but we will definately stay longer next time.
