H. S.We visited Steampacket last night for dinner and we had such an awesome experience. The food was amazing (think traditional pub food with the best taste EVER), the staff were lovely (especially the lady on the front bar), and there was even things for the kids to do (puzzles, colouring pencils and a book). We will definitely be back on our next holiday!
Also - there was a baby change table in both the women’s AND men’s toilets!! So amazing!!
i. s.Only place around with live music that stays open past 8, the bar staff are absolute legends, the feed is awesome and it has a proper country pub atmosphere. Came on Tuesday which was T-bone Tuesday can’t go past a massive T-bone, chips and salad for $25. They were also serving cocktails for tipsy Tuesday.

N. A.Despite the fires closing the Kings Highway the pub is till open. They are serving cold beer and all other alcohol drinks. The kitchen is serving delicious food the staff are friendly and efficent as well as courteous. Get out there and enjoy, they still had good live music as well.
E. K.Feb 2020 - Finally called in after many of driving past. Should of kept on travelling. Sunday, ordered the roast pork because the majority of blokes were eating it, and country pubs usually make a good roast. Wrong. Small portion but well presented had a 'funny' taste to it. A couple of hours later tummy rumbles started. Friendly staff but the pub needs a spruce up all over. Other customers I saw did not look overly joyed either. Three stars for location, staff and potential. It's a shame.

S. C.Who can define that special moment when a few quieties turn into loudies, could it be the meat raffle, amazing staff, stunning friendly locals or the wood fired steamboat pizza. I do not know what the band were called, but wow they were amazing. The whole place oozed stunning local culture and the staff made me feel so welcome, and for that I will be back every year and as often as I can.

I. S.We stopped here for pizza on the way home. A large sized pizza presented on a wooden board, quite tasty but would be good to have plates as we had to improvise with napkins... otherwise a nice meal.
