N. C.Just Okay, not my ideal location but well soothed for it's name.
It serves as a very temporal place to stay and if you don't mind having so many people in a space.
S.Great Hostel! I’ve been staying there for almost 3 weeks and I had an awesome time. The rooftop is a perfect place to spend some time with nice people and the view is fabulous!
The kitchen, dorms and bathrooms are clean and the staff is really nice and helpful. Also the hostel is located pretty central and the main sights of Sydney are in walking distance.
I highly recommend staying there!
c.Friendly staff and good kitchen area but not what it says on the tin at all. We paid for triple room with private shower access but private shower meant public shower. There was also salt on the floor by the door in our room because slugs would get in. And also the back door's lock was broken. Not sure what to make of the whole thing
A. h.loved my time at Sydney Central Backpackers! a nice hostel with a fantastic rooftop terrace! If you are looking for a cheap room to stay in I would highly recommend Sydney Central to everyone. Located right across from central station and 20 minutes to the CBD means it is the perfect place for any tourists or backpackers alike. Waking distance to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. also has parking near by at reduced rate. Would recommend
N. B.Stayed here a long time ago and found it to be excellent! However, with the recently implemented rule of closing the AMAZING roof garden at 9:30pm every night, it's been stripped of it's atmosphere and personality quite a bit. Great shame as I have a lot of great memories here. Our room was full of cockroaches too - but that's half the charm.

Such a nice hostel with an amazing rooftop terrace and free BBQ equipment available which made those summer evenings a little bit special for me and my friends! If you are looking for a cheap room to stay in I would highly recommend Sydney Central to all ages. Situated directly across from central station and 20 minutes to the CBD means it is the perfect accommodation for any tourists or backpackers alike. Waking distance to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. And even has parking available nearby at reduced rate for customers! Cannot recommend this place enough!

BBQ on rooftop a plus. So too laundry facilities. Close to everything and guys on reception very helpful. Even got me a casual job for a few days.
X. F.Quite a silent place during my two nights there. People in charge at the reception desk very helpful and pleasant. Very central. Easy to reach from the airport by train. Lively neighborhood at night. The WiFi broke down. Needed it for my work therefore I had to go sleep elsewhere but got a full refund for my two remaining nights. Elegant!
T. S.Sydney Central backpacker is the best hostel in Sydney, I stayed here in my first year in Australia and this is honestly where I met the best people. The accommodation is nice for the price that you pay, its definitely the cheaper option in Sydney. Thanks
X. C.Lovely place, lovely staffs. Room, toilets and shower are very clean. Free breakfast and WiFi are available, only need a thicker blanket in winter.

h. l.Sydney Central Backpackers is a nice place to stay, really a perfect Budget Hostel. It is in the capital Sydney, everything is so nearer to this. It’s too cool and hygienic. Best youth hostel and in budget as well. I will recommend this to everyone this is really one of the best cheap hostels.

J. H.Sydney Central Backpackers is an amazing place to stay.. i used to live there for a couple of months. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for the time than you want i recommend SCB.. The staff is so friendly with 24 hrs reception.. you can get free internet with Wi-fi, free breakfast... toilets and kitchen are washed twice daily.. u can chill on the roof top watching the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge
They help me to find a labour job.. and of course all the nights theres something diferent to do in Kings Cross and with the hostel we always get a free entry and a free drink.. that´s awsome..
Do not hesitate... SCB´s Rules!!!!

K. G.It is dirty. Saving grace...centrally located right by Queens Square and great shopping, Ice Breaker Moreno, Louis Vuitton, Dior, quant shops. Lots of party bars. AND the staff is helpful! Thank TJ and the gal from New Caledonia...you both rocked it!
