I went glamping with my family here and everything was so amazing! The tents were beautiful and actually quite spacious. However, one of the tents we had for the night did not smell great when we entered and the floor was very damp. The other tent was perfectly fine though. There’s lots of kangaroos around which was wonderful. The communal bathroom and kitchen are also pretty clean and nice. At night the area looked beautiful with all the lights! My family and I overall had a great experience here and are looking forward to coming again.

We were 3 families with teens who stayed for 3 nights in the glamping tents - it was such a great experience.
The tents are really quite roomy - we had 2x extra beds plus the double bed and it wasn't too squashed.
The bathrooms and kitchen and surrounding areas were all cleaned daily and the staff did an amazing job especially considering the challenges they had with staff over this peak time.
The whole place is styled beautifully - fairy lights and comfy chairs. A few fab vantage points for sundowners. Lots of sitting areas around the grounds, big chess board and games, food trucks a few nights we were there too.
Kangaroos roaming everywhere (very cute).
Would highly recommend.

MORE THAN WHAT WE EVER IMAGINED 😍✨
My husband and I recently got married at The Cove and stayed there for a total of 3 days.
Yo (the manager) is AMAZING 😌 and went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful for all her help & for being so easy to deal with.
I highly recommend this venue for a holiday and 100000% a wedding. Our family’s are still raving about it 🤩
Thank you to Yo & her team for making our wedding holiday so magical. We miss you guys already.

Loved our experience of glamping here. Whoever did the landscape design and overall layout of the whole complex deserves a 5 star rating. The whole site was stylish AND practical. Loved the camp showers and toilets. Loved the lights at night. Loved the chess, jenga etc.
It was also great to have all the games in each tent too because we did have some really wet nights and days and so it was fun to listen to the rain while playing games.
I really want to come back! Hope someone I know gets married here so I have another reason to come.
Also want to say the staff were terrific, and the day spa experience was just what I needed after a hugely stressful few years.

What an awesome destination wedding venue! Great amenities, comfy rooms, gorgeous surrounds and a beautiful blank canvas for couples to style their way. Loved our stay and the wedding we attended there!

We were here for a wedding. Everything was great. We stayed in a chalet but others stayed in the glamping tents, or in the Fun House. Difficult drive on dirt road because recent torrential rain damaged the surface. Hopefully repaired soon.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in the glamping tents over the weekend for our anniversary and it was simply a dream. The 13k drive to the Cove became a game of how many animals we could spot and we were never disappointed. The wildlife are also very friendly, always coming up to you to see if you have any treats to give them.
Upon arrival, the tents are tidy and clean, absolutely nothing to fault. You’re supplied with towels and even board games to keep you busy on the rainy days. The bathrooms were always up kept. We managed to use the outdoor bath and it was beautiful under the stars, it was all a very romantic experience.
The staff were all so helpful and lovely, answering any questions we had.
I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something new. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Cove with two little kids, it was amazing. Beautiful location, great customer service, amazing camping experience. We will come again for sure!

As wedding planners/coordinators we have had the pleasure of working her on many beautiful weddings- and highly recommend the property!
Situated right on the water, it has lovely views, lots of opportunity to personalise the space, a gorgeous new wedding hall, catering facilities and also so perfect to enjoy a whole wedding weekend with your family and friends.
Manager Yo and the team are always a pleasure to work with & super helpful!
Highly recommend, Vanessa at The Wedding and Event Creators

Stayed in a glamping tent for 2 nights and had the most amazing experience. The outdoor bath is an absolute dream and the tent was warm, cozy and comfortable. We will definitely come back for another stay!

Great place to enjoy your vacation.
The ambience and lighting decoration at night , isolated bherwerre beach nearby, make it felt like an ideal romantic getaway.
Slow crashing and whooshing ocean sounds at night makes it so peaceful.
Started the day by watching a spectacular sunrise at the beach, spending day with friendly kangaroos and ending the day stargazing with campfire at night.
Glampers are provided with all amenities. Blanket and hot water bottle to make feel warm and cozy in cold nights.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The tents shown on the website are different to what we saw. The road there is very bumpy and gravelly just drive slow. The local wildlife is not shy coming up to you but beware if you feed them they will remember you and keep pestering you the whole time. Tents were spacious and the bed was nice. Company was good, you are right next to other people. Watch out for roo poop.
The website needs updating and needs to be more clear about this place.
Otherwise kind service from the owners and amazing surrounds. Very peaceful

I stayed in a glamping tent for 2 nights and I absolutely loved it! It has such a beautiful coastal vibe and I loved hanging out with the local kangaroos. The bath tub was definitely a highlight, I could have easily spent all day in there! The tents are spacious and the bed is super cosy. I loved spending the nights around the fire pit getting to know the other travellers. With no power inside the tents, items need to be charged in the communal kitchen and wifi/internet service is quite poor, but there is so much to do at The Cove and surrounding areas that the technology can be given a miss for a few hours ;) The Cove is completely self catered and with the closest shops being a 30 minute drive definitely be sure to stock up on food during your stay. Food can be stored in the communal kitchen which includes fridges, freezers, storage, utensils, stove tops, microwaves, bbqs, kettles, plates, bowls, cups and all the other basics. The VERY long dirt road leading to The Cove is very bumpy and covered in potholes so be sure to drive slowly, but the scenery through the forest is nice! Overall I had an amazing experience and stay and I will definitely be back one day! <3

What a fantastic place to stay and have a wedding. Well done - Paul and Heulwen
A. S.
Amazing place!!! It is exactly the place, what is promised. Close to nature living.
We planned for a weekday stay to avoid crowd and guess what? We had the whole glamping area for ourselves.
We spent most of the time sitting near to firepit. While stargazing at 5 AM in the morning we saw space x satellite train.
Kitchen was excellent and fully equipped, it has dedicated shelves for each tent and a big fridge with dedicated baskets.
Bathrooms and shower rooms were very clean. Both bathrooms and shower rooms are semi open as shown in pictures, adventurous but
little scary (in case of spiders or snakes, thank god we did not encounter any :D).
Kangaroos are friendly and they are there at all times. Don't feed them, if you feed them they will hassle you/others for food.
There is a private access to lagoon and from there you can walk to Bherwerre beach.
Lot of board games and outdoor games provided, so no need to carry any. There is a coffee shop as well.
Wi-Fi connection was good, though you don't need it at a place like this.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Harvey provided us everything we needed.
M. D.
Beautiful location but wouldn’t stay again. Very expensive property, for what you get. We stayed over the weekend with my family at the biggest property there. It’s communal living with all the other surrounding cabins and tents right next to each other. If you are after your own secluded house, this isn’t the place to book. The wifi doesn’t work(especially when I had planned to work from there but couldn’t without wifi, so had to leave a day early) and there was sand all over the sheets on the bed. Although, inside was nicely decorated and presented.
A. C.
Top spot. Had an amazing time there at an amazing wedding with amazing people. 100% would recommend at least checking it out if you're thinking about having a wedding here. But make sure you actually go there to check it out. It's quite a distance
M. H.
We had an absolute blast at the cove for our wedding. All the amenities were fantastic, they have literally thought of everything! Kayla and Cody were amazing and had great communication through out the whole process and were very accommodating, even when the weather looked like it was going to be bad. There is so many different areas for everyone to enjoy and catered for our youngest guests to our oldest who needed disabled amenities. Us and our guests had the best time and are just so sad its over.
Thanks so much guys!!!!! xxx
R. D.
Great spot, tents are a bit close but amenities are very good and very handy when with kids. Was able to see dolphins at the entrance to the lagoon. Just need to watch your step when on the grass.
H. Z. B.
I loved this place !! Will definitely be back for another weekend away. I stayed in the glamping tents and it was amazing, everything was there, and when I say everything, I mean it! All you need to bring is your clothes and food nothing else. My cousins and I stayed for 2 nights and it was totally enough, there is kayaking and paddleboarding free to do you just need to book, there is beautiful walks around, clean fresh beach to swim in and lots of bbq areas to cook and chill. We went in the middle of winter and stayed in the glamping tents which were surprisingly warm. The owners are super sweet and really caring, they really made sure we were comfortable for the weekend. Thank you for an amazing experience 👌🏼
H. B.
Beautiful place - very instagram friendly. The glamping was very well set up and well furnished and we loved the firepit for toasting marshmallows and the cooking facilities were very well thought out and had everything you needed. The bath was amazing and great for reading a book in there and the aesthetic instagram photo. They had a small shop set up with snacks, icecreams and a Barista coffee machine which is great if you forgot anything small as the nearest shops are 50 mins away. We loved the free kayaking provided and went around the huge calm body of water seperate from the waves of the ocean. The Staff were very friendly. There were kangaroos everywhere so great for international visitors to see them up close and their very friendly and tame. It was lovely to go to sleep and wake up hearing the sound of the waves so close by, it was very relaxing.
We were quite cold in the tent on the first night and theres no electricity in the tent but the hot water bottles provided kept us warm. We were also able to charge our phones in the kitchen. One of the stove top burners did not work when we were there so it left only 1 cooktop for 8 tents to use so it took a while to make dinner but it was lucky that some tents chose to use the outdoor grill. The toilets ran out of toilet paper and paper towel on our second night so we would recommend that these are better maintained. They also smelt quite bad when you were in the kitchen and in the outdoor seating areas. The drive to the site was longer than google maps predicted due to the amount of pot holes. We would definitely recommend to go out for the whole day and then come in for night time and buy all of your food on the way there as to go back out would take a long time and its harder to see the pot holes at night time.
If you are looking for a romantic private getaway maybe look elsewhere as the tents are very close together and the place is very family/kid orientated with lots of kids running around screaming so it kind of ruins the romantic/private vibe if thats what you are looking for with no chance for a sleep in.
Overall a beautiful place for a short holiday but always room for improvements.
L. L.
This place truly is breathtaking. Secluded from everything and just so peaceful. I had heard great things and seen how beautiful it was from all the pictures online but it was just so much better in real life! The hard work and amazing detail put in to everything at The Cove is just amazing! I absolutely would recommend this place for anyone. Couples, families and even weddings! Waking up with fury friends on your front lawn really was the icing on the cake!

I had the most perfect staying at The Cove Jervis Bay! What a hidden gem! It was my second time in Jervis Bay and I loved being on a quieter side with a very secluded and stunning beach. The cottage is wonderful, with perfect decor that creates comfort in a beach lifestyle. The cabin is super clean, organised, the room comfy and stunning and it accommodates family and friends. I want to go back soon! Thank you so much for the perfect weekend!
M. F.
Wow, what a phenomenal stay at the Cove! My friends and I made the trip down from Sydney for a girls weekend. We wished we could have stayed at The Cove for a whole week! Ellis was a fantastic host and we loved everything they're doing to improve the space. The cabin was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. We loved riding the complementary kayaks and paddle boards over to the town of Sussex to grab some groceries for the night. One of the highlights of the weekend was drinking wine on the beach and seeing kangaroos hopping into the sunset. No complaints, except on our group's part for not bringing groceries to cook on the BBQ facilities. I highly recommend staying at The Cove for a weekend getaway for families, friends, or couples! A little slice of paradise that we can't wait to come back to.
C. G.
Loved everything about our stay! We stayed in the Glamping tent which was very well kitted out. Location and facilities were great. Will definitely be back.
K. B.
Beautiful oasis in the middle of nature.
We stayed in one of the tents in the glamping area. There is a (kerosene) fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Everything is well laid out and a super-communal vibe.
The outdoor showers are amazing.
Best bit? The wildlife! Super tame wallabies and beautiful black cockatoos.
L. S.
LOVED everything about our stay at The Cove. We stayed for two nights in one of their cosy cabins, went paddle boarding and kayaking on the Sussex Inlet water. We couldn't believe how amazing blue the water was. Depending on the tide there are also some sandbanks to rest and overall the area was a pleasure to explore.
It was such a peaceful holiday, in the middle of nature with kangaroos visiting in the afternoon, native birds waking you up in the morning and trees all around. If you ever wanted to watch kangaroos just metres next to you - this is the spot. They're super relaxed and fun to watch.
The Cabins and all the areas around the Cove were well thought through, stylish and with a big attention to detail. The houses hat all the tools you might need and the most gorgeous decoration. There were a lot of areas with games that you were welcome to play (Big chess board, ball games, jenga et).
The staff was super friendly and were always there to help and guide us. For one day the Internet was gone but it was fixed and all working the next day.
We had so much fun at you stay and I would recommend visiting The Cove to everyone that seeks a bit more nature, fun activities and relaxation. They even said there is a surf beach not far from the property - maybe we'll be checking that one out next time xx
Thanks so much for the most amazing time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was so beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed the pizza oven and Roos that visited us, the kids loved that they got to get up close to them and feed them. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend for families.
A. H.
Stayed here the weekend before NYE this year and really enjoyed our time. All cabins were full but it never felt overwhelming. Enjoyed the decor and refurb that the new owners have done. Only thing missing would be a little shop on site to buy extra goodies (ice cream). Super friendly kangaroos as well!
J. L.
The glamping experience is unlike any other - you wake up to wild kangaroos outside your tent window and just walking there are kangaroos all around the campground. I've never seen this anywhere else. The camp itself is exquisite, so luxurious, comfy and spacious! They have beautiful communal facilities, an outdoor rain shower and bathtub are the perfect way to relax after a morning paddleboarding. All paddleboards and kayaks are included in your stay and the private beach is moments from The Cove. It really was an unforgettable stay!

This will be our go-to place when staying at Jervis Bay from now on! The location is amazing - in Booderee National Park, right next to an inlet and one of the beautiful beaches of Jervis Bay, and away from everything else. The cabins have everything you need for a self-catered break and if you love glamping, the tents are also very cool! The common areas have so many fun and stylish details, including outdoor games. We can't wait to return!
W. E.
This place is a very nice space. Excellent for a getaway. You are right on the beach, not many other people around. Only the people in the cottages around. They also provide canoeing and kayaking. Cottages are small and cozy, but provide most amenities needed. The people that ran the place are very nice and will help in any way they can. Great for a weekend getaway with family. As it is so isolated the nearest shops are about 15kms away

Amazing place we attended a wedding here. The location stunning, the cabins well equipped, clean and airy. The lodges can equipped with Kayaks paddleboards, all activities included. The BBQ common area and playground for the kids. The staff were helpful and so caring towards the needs of all of the guests. This venue along with the beautiful bride and groom put on one of the best weddings we have attended. Do your self a favour and visit this slice of paradise.

The Cove, Jervis bay is one of a kind. It is the ideal place for anyone, whether you are on your own, a young or elderly couple, family or with a few friends. The cove is the best place to relax and enjoy nature in the best way. I enjoyed greeting the friendly kangaroos and watching the dolphins swim by on empty beaches. Must go see for yourself, words and even pictures just don't do it justice. I know I most definitely will be back!

My family and I enjoyed a 3 night mid week stay at The Cove, staying in a 3 bedroom cottage. To say the place is breathtaking would be an understatement! Our cottage was literally seconds from the calm inlet where the water was crystal clear. My kids could have spent all day there collecting shells and splashing about, but the trip was made even better by the free kayak and paddleboard hire which provided hours of fun for all of us. Only a short stroll from the inlet is the Bherwerre Beach which was great for body boarding too. Our cottage was perfectly fitted out with plenty of room for the four of us, including everything you needed in the kitchen (with a dishwasher a nice perk!) and a lawn filled with play things - giant chess, jenga and other games - for the kids to potter around with. One of the highlights was seeing and patting the kangaroos and wallabies who were hopping around between cottages and waiting to greet us each morning. We also saw lizards, native birds, an echidna and a quoll! The Cove has so much to offer - with so many facilities and activities to keep you occupied, yet it is also feels so peaceful and secluded. I would highly recommend The Cove as a family destination!
M. M.
I bought my 2 children here overnight 2 days ago and stayed in one of the glamping tents. The beds where clean but the floor was sandy. And for over $300 a night I honestly expected a fan to be inside! It was 40° outside so inside the tent was an oven until it got dark.
I also had to find somebody to turn on the electricity so I could use the communal kitchen.
S. W.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cabins were well appointed and cosy. The area was beautiful and despite the rainy windy weather, we had a great time. The long windy road in was a surprise but we hoped to see quoll.
T. A.
What a beautiful spot! Perfect for kids, the inlet was crystal clear and we had a wonderful time using the paddle boards. The service was wonderful and the property and accommodation was so clean and tidy. A perfect spot for small and large get togethers. The fairy lights at night time were beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
H. W.
The Cove is a hidden gem that i am seriously so grateful to have found! The grounds are gorgeous and the shacks were clean and well equipped and perfect size. A few metres away from the shacks is sussex inlet where my partner and I used the kayaks and SUP boards offered (which were all in very good condition) and just around the corner there is your very own private surf beach!! The water on the inlet was still and so nice to swim in, and the beach was awesome as there was a massive stretch of sand to go on long beach walks as well as swimming in the clear blue water.Shout out to Elis and Pete (the managers) who were so kind and helpful making our stay overall an 11/10 :). We are both so stoked to have discovered The Cove and we're looking forward to staying with you again!
A. D.
If your arriving at night you'll definitely have a sigh of relief to see the lights. Our (family of 6) stay at The Cove was great, privacy was amazing and the location and overall beauty of the surroundings were overwhelming, we got in for a 50% discount which in April although I would definitely not pay the full price for our stay, although the place is great and if you are looking for a place to stay that you'll be able to relax even with kids than consider The Cove.
Shack was absolutely spotless
Thank you for the great stay Kayla and Cody.

Located adjacent to the serene Bheweere beach and at the southern most tip of Booderee National Park, The Cove Jervis Bay is the perfect place to disconnect from the 9-5 and reconnect with nature. You will fall asleep to the sound of nearby waves crashing, and wake up to the sound of native birds greeting the dawn.
We stayed in one of the huge glamping bell tents (which fit a king bed and a day bed and still has enough space to partake in a morning yoga ritual). Even though it was the middle of winter we were warm and cosy in our tents (especially with the added touch of the hot water bottles with knitted covers we were provided). The external kitchen and bathroom facilities were top notch. I encourage everyone (especially if on a romantic escape) to make the most of the massive bath under the stars with a glass of wine and their loved one.
The only downside to this accomodation is that it requires a 20-30min drive on a dirt road through the national park and is thus 30 minutes from touristic sites, supermarkets and restaurants. This didn't bother us as we loved looking out for wildlife on the drive (look out for the quolls in particular!).
If you're looking for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle and with kangaroos and kookaburras as your neighbours then The Cove Jervis Bay is the place for you!
a.
My partner & I chose The Cove Jervis Bay for our 'Babymoon' destination. Best decision! We chose to 'Glamp' & the facilities are all so gorgeous, well maintained & you can tell a lot of thought as been put into it. The bed and linen was super cosy (felt like we were in a cloud) the bathrooms especially the showers & the bath are pristine and the water is super powerful. The kitchen kept everything we needed as well. Couldn't fault this place, we are already planning to bring the family & come back!
K. P.
There’s so much to do at The Cove, we never wanted to leave. It’s so peaceful being in the middle of nature and surrounded by beautiful wildlife with the sounds of the ocean at your front door. A must for families. We even took advantage of the outdoor pizza oven!!
A. W.
Loved it here. Great cabins, really friendly staff, absolutely beautiful location. So much wildlife! Especially the very friendly kangaroos and possums. A very special spot :)
F. B.
Great place to stay with the family. Cabins are lovely and facilities are well equipped.
Lights around the grounds make it a magical looking place.
S. C.
What a beautiful place! Absolutely stunning scenery and good accommodation options. The long house was nice but the cabins are lovely and well appointed. The staff were so wonderful and accommodating. A great place to get away
L. B.
I would like to congratulate The Cove on the stance that they have taken in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic. Through no fault of their own, and owing to the selfishness of two of their patrons, they have closed their door, voluntarily and despite the fact that they were told by the Health Department that there was no need, for 14 days in an effort to protect further visitors to their establishment.
m.
Great beach site with cabins to accommodate for couples to big families. Fantastic beach with both sheltered and open seas. A bit of off road travelling but no big deal if you do not have a 4WD. Hymas beach which us only 30 mins away is also a must visit beach.
M. B.
Workng at site. Annual leave spot 100 %. Be noticed BYO. Food and drink. Expected. There is no more to pay once booked in. Please don't tell too many people how good this place is. My review is at 5 out of 5.the level rated Kim's resort. Central coast. Please taste the resort water. Does not get any purer.
