The stay here was a very pleasant experience. The feel of history here enriches the ambience of the building. It had been so lovingly restored and the art Deco theme is delightful. The rooms are nice and well equipped. The complementary beverages in the mini bar were a great bonus and touch of luxury. The beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. We stayed when the hotel was at full capacity. The staff were very helpful but they probably could have used a couple more. It was somewhat disappointing that room service wasn't available when we needed it. The Cafe was closed when I tried to order a coffee in the afternoon and when I tried to order dinner there was a 1hour wait. It would be nice to have the convenience of having room service more consistently available. It would also be nice to see some more art Deco features in the rooms themselves which felt a bit more blank.

The Grace Hotel is a step back in time with its Art Deco facade and traditional common areas. The rooms have been renovated and are very modern clean and comfortable. The location is close to George St Shopping, and within walking distance to Wynard Station and George Street Light Rail. The staff are friendly and welcoming and pricing is reasonable. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Grace Hotel.

Great location just minutes from the QVB, wonderful comfortable beds and friendly and professional staff. The complementary mini bar (non-alcoholic) is such a nice touch. This really is the place to stay while checking out the city.

Excellent hotel! Lovely art deco lobby that gives you a real hotel experience. Rooms well furnished, great size, good lighting and blinds, bathroom perfect and excellent shower. Good location too! Definitely recommend.

A nice hotel with a touch of the past. Liking the Art Deco and semi dim lighting. They had a small hallway eatery around the corner. Was a good find of a place while having coffee.

My second visit to 'The Grace' did not disappoint. The art deco style is so beautiful and only surpassed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Location is close to everything (or public transport if you need to go further afield). Room was clean and neat; breakfast was delicious. The pool was a bit too cold, that was the only downside. Highly recommend staying at the Grace.
D. J.
Great location, very nice renovated rooms and great service. The complimentary snack bar and WiFi was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend.

A little disappointed with this establishment. Lino floors a tiny bar fridge all a bit sparse for my liking. I know of many more classy setups than here. Foyer is nice with lots of history. We had a king executive suite which only meant a king bed. Not even slippers provided. Its cheap I'll say that.

The hotel was amazing and would give it 5 stars if not for the parking situation. The parking lot that the hotel told us to park in was full, we called and they told us there is another parking lot that would offer the grace hotel parking fee, this parking lot was also full. We ended up parking in a 3hr parking lot and paying $25 in order to quickly check into the hotel before our event. After our event we had to quickly move our car to another parking lot as our 3hrs was up. We could not find another parking lot in the area that offered overnight parking and at this point it was 12am so we decided to just park on a street and we would pay whatever ticket or fine we received as we were sick of driving around for hours. In total we payed $142 for parking including the ticket.

We had a great room. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Choices of places to eat on-site and in the middle of CBD - great location. Real value for money.
M. K.
Lovely hotel. We had a junior suite which was very spacious. The bed and linen were amazing!
Room service was good and the hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of Darling Harbour, Barrangaroo, Circular Quay and Wynyard.
V. L.
One of the nicest hotels in Sydney, classic art Deco style is beautiful and my room had been through a recent upgrade. It was very big with a modern fit out.
M. h.
The rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable. I liked the rain shower.
The unfortunate part was the mini bar on offer was juat wine or beer. However the 25 dollar sav blanc was so ordinary that you cant drink it. For me with such a limited range some thought should go into this selection.
A. V.
I love this hotel. Great location, friendly staff and well furnished large rooms. Best value for money in Sydney.
S.
Rooms were very clean and spacious, shower was spacey, bed comfy. Sauna wasn't operating ( a little bummed ) excellent staff service.
R. M.
I am working in the hotel. If you want a quick stay us good. For long stay if you just for work and sleep is the best. But for holiday makers is a good price but please as our hotel usually a lot of guest is corporate guest.

Wow, What a Hotel, arriving in the lobby I was exposed to the Wonderful decor of the Hotel and the Kind greeting Staff, who was able to help me check into my room and Provide me with all the Relevant information and Covid Safe Requirements needed by the Hotel.
The Room was Exquisite as I had paid to stay in the Signature King Room over the weekend, the Bed was BEYOND Comfy bordering on luxurious, the Bathroom was Immaculate and the Waterfall shower was an amazing touch, as being over 6'4 finding hotels with showers I can stand under can be counted on one hand and was Greatly appreciated.
The Room amenities were amazing, provided were robes, a Hair Dryer, Iron and ironing board, Mini Fridge, coffee and tea along with towels and toiletries, all were clean and without stain or smell, Plenty of Luxurious Pillows to sleep on, and have a large tv with Chromecast was a welcome addition to the room to enjoy while laying in bed.
The only negative experience I had while staying at the Hotel was the intermittent or none functioning Airconditioning, it seems to run at the listed temperature for 5 minutes before turning off or going into fan mode instead of AC, and left the room quite hot and stuffy, to the point on the second night I couldn't even sleep on the covers as the rooms AC wasn't able to cool it down to a comfortable level.
Overall it was an Amazing Trip for my First weekend away from home in over 120 days cause of Covid19 and will be returning again!
Big Thanks to the Team at the Grace,
From Adrian,

Lovely place , great size rooms. Air-conditioning could be a little better. Otherwise great accommodation.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff.
Arrived earlier than and expected and short time to get my room. Once again super nice staff. Room presentation was top notch, fresh and clean. Beautiful bedding and pillows. This location is excellent, close to all the shops and not far from the wharf.
R. S.
Great place to stay, close to shops and restaurants. Rooms are big, well equipped and quiet

Woah! So excited to come back! Booked this place for a wonderful rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and I'm so thankful I stayed at my favorite place for less than what I typically pay.
Excellent art deco hotel in a excellent central Sydney location. High quality rooms. Proper Irish pub at ground level.

I stayed at The Grace Hotel for 2 nights having my nieces wedding in the city. Absolutely loved it. The room is very spacious spotless, the bathroom is massive and clean, the bed is ultra comfortable. Staff are very friendly and professional. Love it can’t fault it 1 bit. Love the decor of the foyer and hall ways.
M. O.
Love this place! Exceptional location and the best prices for a hotel of this quality right in the centre of the CBD. Yes, it’s four star, but the newer rooms are large, fresh and very comfortable. As good as any most of the 5 star hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. What’s more, the mini bar (soft drink, waters and juice) items are free. Great history also.
D. C.
We have fond memories of The Grace where we stayed on our wedding night 14 years ago
We returned for our anniversary and while the hotel is nice overall - the person who checked us in was untidy (tie undone, shirt untucked, hard to hear), the glasses in the room were dirty, the TV had another guest’s name on it (it didn’t bother us, but it shows a lack of attention to detail), no offer was made for concierge services, no suggestion was made for dinner/breakfast etc.
We paid extra for a premium corner room and found it quite small.
The location is great, and we hope The Grace will return to the standard we remember it was
R. S.
Excellent experience
Bed was really good , clean room and location is amazing.
However, one thing we didn’t like was the towels is not changed after we use in one day. But over all was excellent experience for us. We only stayed at the hotel for 2 night’s with family.
We can’t complain. We will definitely go back there again.
M. S.
Old World meets new world, this beautifully restored hotel is just lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is excellent and its super-convenient location in the city make accessing Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, museums and galleries easily.
E. W.
Fantastic price for quality and classic hotel. Clean and very comfortable room, love the Chromecast tvs to watch our own entertainment and free non alcoholic mini bar. Shower was very good also and all in the city centre. I've paid much more for far less comfortable stay.
L. B.
Recently had a four night stay at the Grace - first time since the renovation. While the room was adequate much prefer the charm of the rooms before the renovation. I understand one floor has not been renovated and would hope this stays as a reminder of the charm of the Grace rooms prior to the renovation - when we are again in Sydney would definitely book but only a non-renovated room.
M. B.
Nice, clean and spacious bedrooms. Excellent service!
T. O.
Lovely old Hotel Great position. However the breakfast was ordinary. Only choice of juice was apple no condiments such as peanut butter or vegemite. Poached eggs were very undercooked with the white running Bacon was cold and grilled tomato had quite a bit of mixed herbs which overpowered the flavour. Coffee was from a bulk urn and ordinary. Breakfast let down what was a lovely stay.
S. S.
Pros:
Lovely place to stay
Quite
Friendly helpful staff
Clean
Everything is walkable or easy accessible
Wi-Fi
Safe in room
Comfortable beds
Spacious rooms
Cons:
Parking is next to none (expected)
Floors are freezing inside rooms could use slippers (all tiles and floor boards)
There are no designated smoking areas at all which leaves you standing out on the busy streets in front of the hotel blowing smoke in passing by people's faces.
There were no sun beds on the deck to sit and enjoy the sun and pool.
R. B.
Great atmosphere. Modern vibes. Comfortable rooms with all the creature comforts you'd come to expect for an upper market hotel. Rec room and small lap pool is pokey but enough to get your blood pumping. Central location and late check in. Great spot for a business or quick personal visit to Sydney cbd.
D. S.
While this centrally located Hotel is only four stars, it presents as a five hotel. It may not have an over abundance of employees running around, however everything gets done and there are staff you look after all your requests. I prefer the rooms here compared to most of Sydney's Branded 5 stars hotels. You can see from the photos and videos all the great amenities.
T. M.
Good price. Nice finishes and style in room and hotel. Shower head was amazing. Negatives are the bed was not comfortable. And sunk in and I'm so glad we were only there for one night. The pool is a lap pool. Was full of multiple kids splashing and screaming. Us and another couple couldn't use it and had to go back to our rooms. Got woken up twice at midnight from loud yelling and hooting outside door. Presumably drunk guests getting in late to go to their rooms.
A. A.
Nice hotel, service was good. Staff was attentive.
T. C.
A super hidden gem!
Really loved this hotel, has a warm heritage feel with modern upgrades in a fantastic central location!
Updated rooms allow for new look timber floors that I love, no more musky carpets!!
Very Spacious, exceptionally clean with complimentary mini bar.
My next comment is lightly touching on disappointed, pro's and con's of breakfast.... the continental options were displayed as a buffet style all items individually cling wrapped for covid safety.....a help yourself arrangement...for the cheapest price it was limited in variety Very limited yet a simple quick b'fast.
Then you had all hot foods ..eg full breakfast style if you like options.
These needed to be ordered to table...there was nothing wrong with this option food arrived hot to table and reasonable servings.. quite quickly.
I just think it was an odd concept that I wasn't expecting.
3 seperate price options including children's prices...
Overall this hotel has lots to offer!!
I would definitely stay again.
j. M.
Love the stay and will come back. Love the room features!!
Not 5 stars because needed soundproofing i can hear people steps and door banging on the hallway outside my door. It wakes me up at night everytime.

Fantastic stay over the Easter long weekend. Stayed in a Junior Suite, which was clean, stylish and luxurious. Recommend staying here if you want close walking distance to Darling Harbour or the City.
C. S. &. F.
I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was so close to the SkyTower, Hyde Park, Wnyard Station, Westfield and QVB which are the places we needed to go to for our booked appointments. Our room was neat and clean. Staff were very nice and accommodating. I would've loved it more though if they've provided slippers because their floor is wooden it gets really cold to walk barefoot. I thought toothbrushes and toothpastes was provided but it wasn't. Luckily my husband packaged our toothbrushes from home. Their pool upstairs was adequate, but its not heated. Currently, they are doing some renovations and I'm hoping they will do some renovations on their indoor pool soon. Happy to go back and stay in this Hotel again.

It's so clean from the floors to the walls. The rooms are excellent accessable light switches and powers points. The toilets are modern, the entry hall carpets are new and clean. The location is good l highly recommended this hotel.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful decor, very clean and well maintained, quiet, centrally located, and a quality breakfast too. I’m a repeat customer - this place is easy and a nice place to stay; I’ll keep coming back.
M. J.
Nice hotel room. Great location. Room was clean until you look under the bed and find a ton of dust and forgotten items from previous guests. The big disappointment was the rubbish customer service. I was incorrectly charged for bar fridge items that I did not use.
I was promised that someone would call me to sort it out and it was only after I went out of my way to call them up to hassle them that a refund was granted with not apology and a terrible attitude from the staff.
Considering the hotel was basically a ghost town there is no excuse for the lack of care shown to guests.
S. 0.
Very nice! Clean & brilliant location for night out & shopping.
Walking distance to darling harbour too (10min max)
Hotel staff were happy & friendly. Gym & pool not open due to Covid but we weren’t staying for that.
Bed was comfortable and linen is good quality.
J. N.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The rooms was basic but lovely, clean and modern. Restaurants fantastic.
E. V. Z. (.
Elegant surrounds, beautifully appointed rooms and facilities with the quality of service you would expect in a five star hotel. The careful update and restoration of 'The Grace' make it a destination in it's self
C. V.
Ease of access, quick service and a comfortable/clean room
C. F.
The amazing staff especially the man serving us buffet breakfast. He was what made our experience fantastic. His service was exceptional. Very experienced & so kind & considering to my kids & to my sisters Childrens aswell. Thank you so much Grace staff

Wow, the Grace Hotel is phenomenal. Service is impeccable and the rooms are very comfortable. My favourite was the rain shower. I could have spent all day under it.
Also the food and coffee are the best.
K. M.
Nice cosy room, with a complimentary mini bar
L. P.
Good location. Good service. Lots of eateries under the same roof.
We asked for a room upgrade and this was granted without hesitation.
B. S.
Excellent art deco hotel in a excellent central Sydney location. High quality rooms. Proper Irish pub at ground level.

The entry to the hotel was absolutely beautiful
The room was comfy and clean. The staff were lovely and nothing was s problem. The only thing was we couldn't use the pool because of Covid 19
We will definitely come back here. Restaurants on premises.
I liked the hotel

I loved the Grace. Rooms were fantastic. The complimentary drinks was a great touch. Very reasonable pricing for our weekend.

I stayed in Grace hotel couple of months ago. This hotel is in a convenient location on the heath of Sydney CBD. Room was clean, spacious and luxurious. Price is reasonable for these elegant room. Friendly staff. Recommending this hotel to anyone who’d love to enjoy Sydney CBD stay.
J. F. Y.
They let me check in quite late, have comfy beds with lovely soft white sheets and I love the Art Deco interior.
A. T.
The location is great. Beds very comfortable and the hotel has been tastefully updated but on an international standard not the best I have stayed at. Our view was internal so nothing which was disappointing considering the price of $229 Aus. Nice hotel but for one night was very expensive and room service food was equally expensive particularly when there are so many great places close by with great food. Breakfast in the hotel is $35 each for the buffet - we went out to a fab little cafe and had great coffee and breakfast for $27 for two of us.
We had a night in town for a treat - would have been better to stay in a cheaper hotel and use the excess for other entertainment.
B. T.
Clean, comfortable, rooms in a central location.
P. B.
Great location and clean renovated rooms with double showers! Perfect for a weekend away in Sydney city, tucked behind the QVB building. check in was smooth and couldn’t fault anything - I would definitely go back!

This is lovely older hotel . If you are looking for a view from your room this is not the place for you. We changed rooms after check in because our first room had a view of a building with boarded up windows. Not what I wanted for our first trip to Sydney. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location is within walking distance of most attractions .
J. H.
Enjoyed a lovely weekend at The Grace. Very appropriate Welcome Pack of face masks, hand sanitizer, etc.! Breakfast was Covid-19 safe, with hot meals brought to the table. Loved the Art Deco features and also the corridor giving the history of the hotel. Art Deco features in public spaces and modern bedrooms are a perfect combination. We will return!
M. H.
Really liked this hotel. Very well maintained building that has been modernized. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the bathroom has a great shower. The bed is also very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and offers many choices, I went back for seconds 😀
B. L.
Booked 2 nights stay here and the rooms were huge. These are the older rooms so I have no idea how the new ones look like. This place is in the midst of renovation so take note if you're not out of the room by 9am everyday, the drilling starts promptly at that time and continues till 5pm. Otherwise this place has a huge TV, big beds and a very wide space. Service is attentive and staff are friendly. Gym and pool however are nothing much to speak off and are both very small and on the top floor.

Fantastic experience at the sushi place with Yuta

Lovely hotel! Grace Hotel is such a wonderful hotel to stay in. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our vacation because of their services. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. The room was spacious and designed beautifully!. The place was clean and well-maintained! I highly recommend Grace Hotel.
P. E.
this hotel was beautiful. it is such a great place to stay. Evana was great and she was one of the best kind hearted staff.
A. C.
Convenient location, clean interior, but best of all, amazing service.
We drive past the grace hotel often when we are in town. I never thought to book a stay there, as it looks quite aged on the outside. But you know how the famous saying goes, never judge a book by its cover and I'm glad I didn't.
The hotel interior is clean and spacious. As you walk intp the hallways and into the rooms, you are met with modern fittings and an elegant layout.
The most impressive part of the hotel is the service. Everyone is friendly, from the car attendants, the cleaners all the way to the hotel reservations. They make sure your stay is pleasant easy.
Highly recommend and would stay there again. Check out their website for deals and specials.

It's a beautiful hotel right in the middle of bustling CBD of Sydney. It's has much history behind it yet blends so well with modern times. The staffs are friendly and service is good.
The room was big and spacious. Clean and neat. Renovation is going on yet there was no inconvenience because of that. It was quiet and peaceful.
The hotel is close to all the facilities and shopping centres. We were very happy to stay there and enjoyed our holiday.
M. G.
The Grace Hotel exceeded my expectations. Perfect location. Everything is within walking distance. Grocery store 2 blocks away. My room was clean and functional. The concierge staff was especially helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Darcy was a gem! No complaints........
K. O.
A beautiful hotel, such a comfortable bed and amazing pillows. Lovely rooms and very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything I could think of for breakfast and things I wouldn't have thought of. Late checkout at 1 on Sunday was wonderful too. Would definitely return!
N. S.
Currently undergoing some facade restoration, still a great place to stay and the staff are excellent, the room is very comfortable, and still one of the most standout hotels in Sydney in its category. Bonus is the Irish pub downstairs!
A. L.
Went to check in at 3, suite wasn't ready and was told it would be 15 mins and would get a call. Over an hour later, no call but finally got key. Pillows are awful, no support. Much better places to stay in Sydney, won't be staying again.
A. P.
We arrived about 9am from an overnight flight. Our room was not ready but staff gave us access to the spa so we could take a shower. Had a massive room with modern bathroom. Convenient location. High end shops in adjacent street. Walking distance to hop-on hop-off bus. Good breakfast. Irish pub in same building (not affiliated to the hotel). Art Deco style building. Been refurbished but retained old charm. Good alternative to character-less modern hotels.
T. M.
Such a beautiful place to enjoy food and drink
E. B.
The hotel is beautiful in all common areas. it has been painstakingly restored and reading the history of the hotel was also really interesting. The gym and pool were good. The renovated rooms are nice looking but not true to the heritage of the building. They are also not comfortable for a week long stay as there was no arm chair or lounge. It was either the bed or desk to sit. There also was no carpet, there are floor boards instead. I had an issue with water leaking in the first room, I sat for an hour waiting to be reallocated but they forgot about me and it wasn't until I rang back that they followed up. The gentleman who assisted me move was really nice but there wasn't really any apology for the inconvenience. I know only certain floors are renovated I hope that the.design is reviewed for the other floors with consideration to heritage anf comfort. The bathrooms do achieve this already and are nicely appointed. I also hope a bit more time is spent assisting guests when things go wrong I wasn't given a new room till 9:30 and I had to work the next day! A colleague also had a fire alarm go off after midnight with no follow up to advise it was a false alarm or even that is was being investigated.
K. S.
Location is 5 star!
Rooms were big and spacious, which was a plus. But it's a bit basic looking. The staff are friendly too. The hotel is a heritage hotel done in art deco style. Got it at a really good rate compared to nearby hotels. A little too old feeling for me as I prefer newer hotels, but I'd consider staying here again in the future if the price is fair. They are currently undergoing renovations though, so hopefully, the rooms would look better!
The convenience store right opposite the hotel had a bit of a high mark up for some items. other items were ok though.
J. J.
This is a great hotel and is in a really good location close to everything. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice. Our room was spacious with a nice, big shower. My only complaint (and it's minor) is the light from the AC is quite bright. I like total darkness when I sleep so I ended up using the ironing board to block it. Maybe it can be dimmed but I couldn't find it. Other than that, can't fault it.
M. M.
Everyone here was so friendly. They were able to give us directions to anywhere in the city we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was great about providing extra toiletries and towels. There are several restaurants in the hotel and there is so much to do within walking distance! Amazing hotel!
D. N.
Great for families and solo travelers alike. Great reception, spacious room (we got the family room), excellent location (we could walk to most places of interest in 5-15 or take the train one or two stops). The hotel itself is beautiful with lovely art deco details, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
K. F.
What a beautiful hotel and building. The rooms have been recently refurbished in tasteful design. Great breakfast offerings. The hotel is situated in the centre of the city so it's an easy walk to anywhere. I would have given it 5 stars except that I was told there was no parking available even though I had prebooked it. This meant that I had to find a parking station a few streets away, which was very inconvenient. But the hotel itself was great..
C. W.
This hotel is a lovely old art deco building. The rooms are spacious, clean and inviting. It has a great pool, sauna, gym and steam room. It's close to down town and has plenty of places to dine out right on the doorstep. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
M. S.
The room was well designed, good finishes. The bed was firm but not hard. Large TV and Chromecast were highly useful
K. P.
I come here several times a year for conferences and training. The food is great (especially the buffet and dessert!) And the facilities are really good. The staff are friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. You can be paying attention to a speaker, and barely notice your coffee cups have been removed, your water refilled and your table tidied. Fully recommend the Grace for meetings and conferences.
J. M.
The Hotel is beautiful and I enjoyed the function however the canapes were diabolical, no cutlery , service spotty which disappointed the organizer. Parking is very expensive.
C. H.
we normally stay at sofetel but decided to have a change and stay at the Grace the rooms are exceptionally clean and check in friendly and quick. They also have great amenities.
S. W.
Good location and this is good historical building. Very quiet inside of hotel even on the busy road. Good shower pressure and clean room.
One sad thing front staff laughed about me when I asked about old newspapers to dry out my wet shoes...I just didn’t want to use hotel’s towel for my dirty shoes...
D. S.
The hotel was great, the staff were awesome and couldn't be more helpful. 24hr front desk. The only fault we had was getting our deposit back after our stay. They held it for 2 weeks. We were told on check-in we could use the deposit for the car parking downstairs however on checkout we were told that's not the case so it cost us a further $300
T. L.
Most of the time, you get a decent stay at a pretty good rate (corporate rate is particularly good). The reception staff are always friendly and make you feel valued, the concierge is always happy to help you or stow your luggage. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit of a let down; average food quality and standard selection of cold and hot breakfast items. If I wasn't travelling with work, I probably wouldn't stay here but for what it is, it's a 4 star experience.
K. M.
A beautiful, art deco hotel. Apparently 4 star but felt it was more than 4. Great central Sydney location, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed and very clean rooms. Room service was excellent too. We recommend The Grace Hotel and would stay again
A. S.
Hotel was beautiful from the outside. Room service was amazing! Our room was a little dirty, the bed wasn't made properly, we had to make it ourselves. The pool wasn't clean but the sauna was great.
T. J.
Location is great. You're central to everything and staff were friendly. Place had a tiny lap pool, sauna and basic gym. A couple of minor negatives were our bar fridge was barely working and earliest check in wasnt till 3pm. Would stay again.
V. R.
This place has been fully jazzed up at the top. It doesn't make the building look great from the outside but from the inside it offers the most amazing views. Definitely on the pricey side but some of the cocktails and dishes are absolutely divine! I especially loved the prawns. Book in early and secure a table with a view to really make the most of this place!
A.
had some issues with lost luggage for a couple hours upon check in, car was frequently reparked and things changed without permission, but otherwise the room was great, service was apologetic and helpful and a fantastic central location!
B.
Attended the hotel for a training event over a number of days. The hotel reception area is rather grand and the rooom we have been working in is well maintained with plenty of natural light. Hotel staff are accommodating and polite with excellent service. We ate lunch in both the main buffet dining room and with conference specific catering and both well presented with good selections. Would go back.
L. W.
Service is very friendly, rooms are clean, & location is perfect. We pre-paid breakfast buffet each day and was pleasantly surprised 😂 highly recommended. Loved the classy old fashioned look, but some floors have been updated nicely.
A. P.
Stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Loved the fact that its near to every facilities you can imagine. Nepali buffet leader (rosnee) was very good on the basis of communication and making me and my wife feel welcome. Lovely food, lovely room.
r. i.
Beautiful rooms and gorgeous lobby. When we arrived there was a pianist in the lounge and it really elevated things. We also happened to get the corner room and it was so much bigger than I expected a normal room to be (we didn't book a suite or anything). Room service was good and fast too.
L. R.
Beautiful art deco designed hotel, ideally situated for touring Sydney and all the sights. Very clean spacious, well appointed rooms. Friendly helpful staff, food great.
A. E.
Although the place is situated in a big hotel in the heart of Sydney, the food was not that great. I went there with my office colleagues for a team party. We were served with very regular options for food with limited options. With the amount of money, we paid for lunch and dessert menu I felt it was not satisfactory of what we got there. There was just one option in curry and literally no. options for vegetarians. There were hardly and entrees served. The ham, chicken and fish were average and was not tasting like any special dish. There were some options in desserts of which I tried coffee caramel pudding and creme brulee, which was again average. Altogether I don't see worth in spending money here. I would rather recommend star buffet.
S. G.
In the heart of CBD with walking distance to all amenities in a historical building.
D. E.
Beautifully kept in the art deco style with minimalist rooms. If you like very modern/contemporary styles this is not for you. Staff very friendly and effective. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the CBD and a short walk to the harbour. Wynard and Town Hall stations are only a short walk away as is the light rail stations on George Street.
J. A.
Unbelievable service and professionalism. Makes anyone from any walk of life feel welcome to stay. Good pricing for the rooms, good value room service and best of all, clean fresh and luxurious. I wish the cheaper rooms had a bath but hey can't win them all. I'm sure if I had asked for a room with a bath they would have told me which rooms had them. It is close to Darling Harbour, close toThe Star, close to the shopping district and close to Hyde Park. Best hotel in the area of similar pricing.

The place looks amazing! It has big, clean and well-maintained rooms. Near the city with lots of shops, restaurants and stalls. The staff were nice, polite and accommodating! Hope to be back here soon!

We spent several days here. The pool was on the small size, but plenty big for my kid. I rather enjoyed the sauna but the steam room had the dank stink of any constantly humid room.
The smallish gym, pool, sauna, and steam room had separate men's washroom and women's washroom. I assume that the women's washroom had showers like the men's.
The actual room was a bit cramped for a hotel room in general, but on par with a hotel room in a historic building in a central business district anywhere around the world.
C. J.
Yes we have been a few times now
J. M.
Comfortable if bland rooms. Great location. Service competent if a little unenthusiastic. Would love to see some of the wonderful Art Deco furnishings of the public spaces in the rooms. Walls surprisingly thin for an older hotel.
B. H.
Stayed here twice and will again, excellent rooms and service, central to everything, public transport nearby

We recently stayed here on a 2 night Luxury Escapes package and found the hotel to be as good as any in Sydney and cheaper than many.
The hotel has recently been renovated and it is extremely clean and luxurious but at the same time it has a real old world charm. We stayed in one of the signature rooms which was very comfortable with a huge bed and brilliant en-suite. Everything is clean and new.
The staff at Reception are very polite and accommodating. Nothing is too much to ask. Reception is also manned 24 hours of the day which is always a bonus in a big hotel.
Our package included breakfast which was served in the second floor restaurant. Good, wholesome food with plenty of choice and fresh. Sunday breakfast is served until 11 am which is a great service that many hotels have now done away with.
There is a small indoor pool on the 11th floor and a roof top area with chairs and a table.
We will definately be returning to Grace Hotel. It’s in a fantastic spot right in the city centre so close to all Sydney has to offer. Well done Grace!!!
R. W.
A very grand and very beautiful hotel with top notch staff. Some of the rooms could use a renovation but otherwise has been kept immaculately clean.
Has kept all of its historic charm, inside and out! Worth a look around and not just a stay.
S. W.
I had a workplace off-site in the York room. The Grace staff on the front desk were really polite and helpful. The air-conditioning struggled a little, but that may have been due to how many people attended. The catering was good and if you needed a coffee, there were plenty of internal and outside places to grab one. The facilities were good too.
B. H.
The rooms were clean and modern. They only gave us two towels but we're prompt bringing more up. The baggage we dropped off took some time to get to the room after twice asking, and the pool is only a thin lap pool, but the location is great for staying in Sydney and we had a good time overall.

I have had the buffet at The Grace and a regular visitor to the Malaysian restaurant downstairs on Fridays. The buffet was elaborate and we felt was well worth the money spent ($22). It had a good selection, even for the vegetarian who accompanied us. The Malaysian restaurant downstairs is a place we visit frequently. Our favourite special is on Fridays, which is the fish curry rice. Well worth the time spent. The service has always impressed me and I feel the place is well worth the money (eating wise, as I have never stayed there).
P. S.
would have rated this higher but the bed and pillows were not comfortable at all and got virtually no sleep in my 2 night stay. otherwise good location with friendly staff and service and room nice and clean. Just too tired to really appreciate it.
L. J.
lovely hotel, perfect sydney location heart of all that matters! walk to cockle bay, circular quay, the rocks, pitt at mall! lovely rooms spacious and in house laundry! bonus!!
E. V.
Attended a breakfast and lunch seminar for work at the Grace Hotel. Good central location, very accessible by train or bus. Facilities were well-maintained and clean; although not overly modern, it had its own charm. Did not have much interaction with the staff as it was a seminar.
M. G.
I have stays a couple of times and it's a beautiful art deco retro feel. Great prices for what it you get and where it is located. Service is always great. The Old style english pub is pumping all the time. This is one hotel I always recommend consistently
n. p.
BRILLIANT SERVICE! I have to say I was stuck in their lobby waiting for someone to collect me, my phone was broken and wasn’t working. The lovely boys PATRICK & PETE helped me call everyone I needed without hesitation. They were exceptional in keeping me calm and helping me out. Will definitely be back!
L. G.
Good hotel in very good location, walking distance to anywhere in CBD. Room was spacious and clean. Got fruits and nuts with dried fruits in the room every few days. The breakfast selection is very good as well, with some variation every day.
Only few negative things were very slow WiFi internet, the fact that Sauna was not available and the pool is very short to swim.
S. F.
My parents stayed a night in March 2019. They found the design of the bath room to be challenging for an older couple with the height of the towel storage well above their heads and no handrails to hold on to or hang used towels on. They would also have appreciated a toilet brush.
J. H.
Nice hotel, great location some issues with the WiFi which when travelling alone is never good. But the staff were helpful. Ten minutes walk from Sydney Harbour via the Circular Quay. Stayed in an executive room which was OK no view as such as I was on the inside atrium aspect.
Great little restaurant next door for late arrivals as hotel restaurant finishes taking orders at 10pm.
I liked the Traveller book left alongside the Bible as an optional read.
X. G.
The swimming pool is great. The service is awesome. However, the walls are thin and and you can hear your neighbours. The windows don't open, so you cannot ventilate your room. Location is perfect, Vapiano is next door and has amazing food.
C. B.
Excellent location! Right in the middle of everything. Rooms are modern and clean. Interesting lightswitches, you hence to insert your room key to turn them on. Beautiful gym, pool was small long and shallow, really only good for laps.
A. D.
Big room at moderate price. Free wifi for 1 day. Amazing room service and quick food service for rooms. Ample selection of food. Gym is quite small. Pool is 2-3 lanes and ~1 meter deep. Relaxing therapy and massage is available with coupons. Big new LG TVs with American selection of movies and TV shows.
R. H.
Wonderful place to stay! Situated in the heart of the city. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the staff are all so friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Room service did leave a lot to be desired
D. L.
An average hotel, considering their 4.5 star hotel rating. Breakfast bar was ok. Room was clean and tidy. Decent room size. TV and internet outage for 6 to 7 hours. Resolution and communication could be better. Internet speed was slow. Other similar hotels are better. Overall would not recommend unless you had no choice.
A. M.
Great spot to stay in the CBD. Plenty to see and do nearby. Friendly staff and very helpful. There’s even a beautiful hair salon located on the street level called Solace! Definitely worth checking out!
J.
Loved it here. It was our first mini getaway since new baby was born. We got the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife package. Breakfast was spectacular and the room was amazing although the view was of the next building's wall, but that's the only criticism! Thank you for making this experience amazing for us! My 6 year old still talks about being here!
Will stay again!

My wife and I stayed at The Grace in order to view the Vivid Festival. The staff were excellent, polite, attentive and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and we'll appointed. And the breakfast was delicious. An enjoyable experience and one that I recommend.
S.
The Grace, lives up to it's name, upon entry you'll gain this understanding. It looks very nice on the inside despite the elder looking architecture on it's outside.
Service is lovely and all people were kind and sincere for when we needed it, if at all.
Our room was well kept, decent size, though we had not seen others. Our bathroom looked as if the shower bay had been changed in a DIY fashion, though nice, water would leak a little onto the floor under the glass door. There were nice big windows, however, these could not be open in anyway - air conditioning worked perfectly fine, noisey as you'd expect just about anywhere but soothing for myself as I don't mind that kind of air rush noise.
We somehow, unknowingly, came into possession of complimentary breakfast each morning that we had stayed for a week (some deal through a website we got?) But the breakfast was absolutely lovely each morning.
On this note; room service was as you'd expect. Little pricey but sometimes beats the feeling of getting a meal elsewhere when you can just eat in, be sure to bring your own entertainment unless you enjoy TV, their built in movie system is far too expensive (15 dollars to watch a movie once basically, or get the deal to watch anything for 24 hours which I forgot the price but still sits completely unreasonable.)
All in all, everything sums up to be worth it.
T. M.
Lovely venue, great service and unobtrusive staff. Was here for a day conference, the food was fantastic.
R. T.
Very near major shopping centres such as Queen Victoria Building and David Jones. Value for money and good buffet breakfast. Newly renovated rooms and have rooms for 4 adults. Walking distance to the Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and Sydney Opera house. Staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
😎❤👍
C. H.
Close to everything. Just a walking distance to the train station and major bus departures in the city.
Great art deco hotel. Nice rooms.
The small gym and pool is reasonably equipped.
We would happily stay again.
T. A. F.
Beautiful old building renovated into lovely modern hotel. The small gym and pool is reasonably equipped. Buffet breakfast has plenty to choose from. Close to everything we would happily stay again.

Booked in over the Australia Day weekend to give my partner's parents a memorable luxury weekend before they returned to UK. Expectations surpassed. Rex, at check-in was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The concierges were informative and gave us some great tips for getting around. Salana, in the Brasserie was amazing. She could remember all our coffee orders each morning without prompting. Unbelievable. P.J.O'Briens is a real Irish Pub and the food was excellent and very good value. The hotel rooms and facilities were excellent and the staff helped create some wonderful memories for our guests.
J. M.
Nice hotel in a very nice Art Deco building. Very good location in the center or the CBD. Beds are a little small though, if you sleep more than two be sure you are ok with the bed size or upgrade.
A. L.
Stayed for 5 nights in June. It’s in an heritage building on York St; short walk to QV building, Darling Harbour and city mall.
Room was spacious. Bed was firm but comfortable however the pillows weren’t to my liking. Down pillows that has had its time I think. Reception mentioned there was a pillow menu but I couldn’t locate it in the room.
Shower had good water pressure. Generally clean but I think tile grouting could use a thorough clean.
Cons: Hotel is marketed at 4-star hotel (full rack rates are expensive) but there were signs of cost cutting. Room slippers had to be requested. Only provided one bottle of complimentary water for the whole stay - did managed to obtain a second from house keeping; I would think bottled water should be complimentary - otherwise make water fountains available as hotel guests can’t be sure of water safety in heritage hotel plumbing unless management reassures guests explicitly. Also it seemed effortful of reception staff when asked to ensure the room was serviced by certain time on one particular day for a special occasion. Had to insist that the message be communicated to housekeeping to be action. But it did get done.
I booked with a discounted room package which makes it value for money. If paying full rates, other hotels nearby would probably provide that luxurious experience more easily. Would stay again if there’s a good deal
N. G.
Travelled for work and stayed for 2 nights in a Deluxe Twin Room and found it to be a very spacious room. Only annoying thing was that there wasn’t a power point next to one of the beds which I thought was a little odd. Art Deco style building and good selection of food and beverages at the breakfast buffet.
B. P.
Nice building with reasonably spacious rooms. The amenities are a bit weird. The owners aren't quite sure whether they are running a hotel for residents or a bar and nightclub for Sidney"s revellers. Confusing business model which must confuse the hotel guests. The noise from the pub doesn't reach the high floors of the hotel but at some entrances to the hotel you do have to 'fight' through the crowds to get into the hotel. There is a coffee shop but it's entrance is along the street as it also serves the general public. Obviously the hotel management want to take full advantage of the hotel's position but this does result in the hotel actually having very few hotel facilities.
V. L.
Everything was great, except the bed. Too hard, not a great sleep experience. Staff are friendly, decor is beautiful and well appointed rooms.
A. M.
Been here for a conference for 2 days. Neat and clean. Friendly staff. Buffet food is yummy and has many choices. Located in CBD and accessible by public transport, 8 minutes walk from St.James station.
n. s.
Great overnight stay in Sydney CBD..spacious comfortable rooms. Staff were all very accommodating and helpful for any inquiry...multiple food and dining choices in adjoining foyer. Funky Irish pub also in same complex...recommended AAA+++
A. B.
Most wonderful stay with friendly staff and atmosphere. Ann our concierge on check in was so lovely and friendly. A beautifully positioned and well located Hotel. Right in the heart of the CBD within walking distance of everything. So clean and tidy. Would highly Recommend.
M. S.
The Grace has an excellent location in central Sydney. Real effort has been made to retain the Art Deco facade and some of the internal features in the public areas. The rooms are very large and modernised. The breakfasts are excellent.
S. B.
Amenities are lovely and clean and work as expected. The staff were super helpful and friendly, not to mention accommodating. Room service was excellent. My only small criticism was that the rooms aren't well lit for doing work (but a vey minor complaint)- but I guess if you were after mood lighting then this might be perfect. I am highly motivated to stay ay this venue in the future.
C. w.
The hotel is nice, has charater. That being said every air duct was filthy. There happened to be a major water leak while we stayed, though it did not impact our stay it did affect the elevators for a bit. Its location was great. All in all I would stay again.
M. M.
Fairly basic room. Bathroom had dead bugs everywhere. The room itself was tired and rundown. Sheets were thin and slippery. It was fine for a no frills business trip but I think you could find better quality for the price.
L. G.
Classy hotel in a great heritage building, centrally located for an easy walk to all the main sights. Buffet breakfast also very comprehensive. Would definitely stay again, good value for money (we were also fortunate to get a very early checkin!)
S. S.
Had an awesome stay at The Grace beautiful hotel, friendly staff, fantastic location. Would definitely stay again
S. K.
Cannot wait to come stay in this beautiful hotel. I have heard a lot from my beautiful daughter about this historic place. The most important thing is that my baby daughter works in this very same hotel. We will be coming in october 2019, would love to know about deals though.
R. H.
Absolutely wonderful. The accommodation was fantastic, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was great. Will come here again.
C. D.
Staff were really helpful. Really great central position. Clean room. Room had no view and could not see sky and was a bit smaller than expected. Had to fill jug in the bathroom which was a bit odd. Pool not very good for lengths.
L. P.
Very centrally situated, we walked to most places, including the opera house.
Very close to the German Beer-huis (fantastic food).
We had to ask to be moved due to renovasion noise, and we received an upgrade.
They were very gracious.
Huge comfortable bed, large bathroom.
M. M.
Stayed here for part of our honeymoon, perfect way to start our married life! Beautiful room, spotless and modern. Staff very helpful and plesent to deal with. Buffet breakfast is great, something for everyone there.
T.
The Grace hotel was great for me. Very nice design and size for room. Check-in desk staff were so nice to me and professional service. It is super great location for anything.
T. H.
Good room sizes and great location. Minutes walk to Wynyard station. Good value for money!
T. F.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the location, that saved a consultant like me. Clean rooms, great service, awesome restaurants & staff.
NDC Sydney folks, it's the place to be - unless you're presenting & hanging out in The Hilton.
J. A.
Lovely old fashioned hotel. Wide sweeping hallways, big rooms and service excellence you will want to come back for. Good value for money and always feel comfortable staying here. Closer to Darling Harbour and a range of good pubs
M. K.
Best hotel in Sydney. We loved our stay. Convenient location easy 20 minute walk to all tourist attractions near the harbour. 7/11 close by for those saving $$$. We loved the room service and aircon (we went during summer). Only downfall was no coffee machine, only coffee sachets (like coffee tea bags?). But you do discover some great cafes nearby if you are a coffee drinker like myself. Pool is in great condition and staff are friendly. View from room was amazing.
C. N.
Hotel staff were very good our first room was clean but was an internal room so had a very very small window over looking more small windows. Staff changed our room to an outside room when requested.
I wouldnt stay again.
P. O.
Beautiful Hotel. Very pleased with our room. Very presentable front desk staff. It was St Patrick's Day and we had hoped to visit PJ O'Briens Irish Pub. It was our understanding that we could visit this Pub as we were staying at the Grace Hotel apparently not according to a very rude security guard who told us to join the queue like the rest of the people waiting to get in. Not impressed with PJ O'Brien Irish pub.
J. H.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Grace, the staff were all exceptionally friendly although we did find it difficult to locate the underground carpark as we weren't familiar with the area.
They supplied us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, and the rooms although clearly old had been renovated and were very nice.
Would stay there again!
J. M.
Centrally located near shopping, restaurants and bars. Excellent service and valet parking. Pool, sauna, gym well maintained. Room size is comfortable and amenities are quality. Breakfast in bed or enjoy more choices at the buffet.
D. J.
Nice hotel. Breakfast is really good. Beds are comfy. Showers are hot. Great Irish bar underneath too. Great location
M. I.
I love the breakfast buffet:)
L. S.
Unlike some of the other hotels I've started in that were once nice but hadn't aged well, the Grace has maintained a high standard in all areas. I would make special mention of the staff who were courteous and efficient. Alexander gets things done.
K. S.
Great location, good price. Yeah the room could have been bigger, but the bathroom was spacious. Loved the interior and also great looker on the outside. Luved restaurant next door. Really nice
H. R.
This hotel has quaint old style charm with modern in-room facilities. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Highly recommended for either tourists or business.
A. L.
The Grace is well located near the center of town. It is well appointed and maintained with friendly staff. The rooms are of good size and well equipped. There is complementary Wi-Fi. The buffet breakfast was of very high quality, I would definitely stay here again.
J. C.
I visited the Grace hotel to participate in some market research being conducted in some rooms on the second floor. What a beautiful building! Fantastic old Gothic architecture that has been well and conserved and incorporated into a lovely hotel. I haven't stayed at the hotel but it is high on my list of hotels to try in Sydney.
B. S.
This is a lovely hotel in a good location. The staff were nice, the kids loved the pool and gym. Meal service good was ok. Breakfast was amazing
M. W.
Beautiful building although it is old and quaint. The room was recently renovated. Large comfortable room with a comfortable bed and a large mini bar selection. Although they charge to deliver ice?
R. F.
It was wonderful. The hotel is so clean and the staff are GREAT. Everyone was so helpful and so nice. The breakfast is amazing. My sister and I had the best experence ever We stayed here for 6 days and we wish it could of been longer.. It is in the heart of Sydney close to Everything. We walked to the Harbor and everywhere we wanted to go. We want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH. If you want a beautiful hotel with great people the GRACE Hotel is the place to stay.
C. N.
Beautiful hotel, very clean and neat rooms with heater! Close to most of the offices for my meetings. And near to all the tourist attractions for after work! Not too expensive! Highly recommended!
J. N.
We are very pleased we chose The Grace Hotel for our vacation on Sydney. It is beautiful and very ornate inside, as well as very comfortable. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. We also love the location which is very close to public transportation which we are using daily. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
A. G.
We've spent here some days in our honeymoon. It was ten years ago but we still remember vividly the beautifulness of this hotel, how the room was huge, clean, full of comfort and with a stunning view. Tbe resturant was capable to surprise you with both classic and more innovative dishes, all prepared with maestry. The staff was kind and professional. I would definitelly return here in my next trip to Sydney
L. W.
Great location in the heart of the city. Plenty of nearby restaurants, shops and cafes. Pitt Street mall only a short walk away. The hotel is a classic old but very well mantained building. Staff are nice and service is excellent. Rooms are reasonable sized, comfortable and cosy bed. Indoor pool, small gym and sauna perfect to kick off your day! The only dissapointment was a problem with my bill which 48 hours later hasn't yet been resolved. However, i hope it will be addressed soon.
L. W.
A nice central hotel with laundromat inside the hotel, which was a lifesaver! The beds were pretty comfortable and the amenities at the hotel were OK.
The location was absolutely amazing though. Less than a 20 minute walk in either direction to any of the happening neighbourhoods in downtown Sydney.
R. H.
Very well done. The stay was perfect. The hotel is located in city centre. Hotel did provide us with all the facilities. The staff were very helpful. I certainly will be staying here again.
K. M.
The hotel is well located in Sydney within easy walking distance of a number of tourist attractions. The Grace has late 1920s charm and elegance, and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed.

This review is for the Grace Brasserie on the second floor of the Grace Hotel:
FOOD TYPE
Buffet
FOOD QUALITY
Four of us took advantage of a generous Scoopon Deal where, for $22 a head, we each got the full lunch buffet, with a single glass of wine or a cold drink. For the record, the usual price of the lunch buffet is $32 per person (I assume that’s without drinks) or $22 per person without dessert (wonder how they enforce that: do they have security personnel going around checking that $22 diners are not having dessert?). While there isn’t a huge selection of dishes to choose from, we were quite satisfied with what we got and all enjoyed it. You won’t find tables groaning under the weight of massive offerings, nor a huge variety of food, but what there was, was fresh, tasty and wholesome and nicely laid out and presented. There were a few salads, including an interesting quinoa, a beetroot and a tofu salad; and warm, crusty rolls to kick things off with. For mains, there was a delicious Indian style beef, and a butter chicken, jasmine rice, spring rolls, roasted vegetables and a turkey and ham station. I pretty much tried everything and nothing really disappointed although if I had to choose one stand-out dish it would have to be the melt-in-your-mouth tender butter chicken, perfectly complemented by the fluffy jasmine rice. For desserts, they had a nice choice of fresh fruits, a cheese and biscuit tray inc my fav blue cheese, and a delicious cherry strudel. Again, not a lot to choose from, but enough to suit most tastes. We finished with coffee.
ATMOSPHERE
The dining room at the Grace Hotel is a large space with room for about 250 people. It’s stylish, elegant and very comfortable; carpeted throughout with wooden tables and upholstered chairs. Lighting is dim, but there was enough sunlight coming in through the windows to keep the place reasonably bright and cheerful. There wasn’t a huge turnout, I’d say it was probably only about one third full, but for us that was perfect to enjoy a relaxed and laid back meal with our friends.
SERVICE
There’s not too much for the wait staff to do here, apart from showing you to your table, bringing the drinks and clearing away the dirty dishes and bringing fresh cutlery. But it was all done efficiently and politely by a bevy of pretty Asian ladies, all neatly attired in smart black and blue uniforms.
COMFORT
You could not have asked for a more comfortable venue. Chairs were firm, the table was large enough to easily fit all the dishes and the drinks. The carpeted interior and sun streaming in, made it a warm, homely and cosy venue on a chilly winter’s afternoon. Tables are well spaced, giving one plenty of room to spread out and ensuring easy conversation with no acoustics issues at all.
SUMMARY
We had a pleasant lunch buffet here and everything went off smoothly. Food was fresh and tasty with a nice , but small, selection of salads, entrees, soups, meat and Indian style chicken and beef, dessert and coffee. At $22 a head, including a drink, it represented excellent value for money. Service was friendly, polite and efficient. I was a bit disappointed though, that each diner only got one glass of wine (or one soft drink), which I felt was a bit stingy. At least two glasses of wine were needed to wash down all that lovely food. I was also a bit peeved when they shut up shop at precisely 2pm. The voucher did state that the hours were 12pm - 2pm; but it would have been nice to linger awhile over coffee, and cheese and bikkies. However, when staff are cleaning up the tables, vacuuming the carpets and setting up for the next buffet, you know that it’s time to leave! And just a word about the magnificent Grace Building in which this hotel and the brasserie are housed. It’s been lovingly restored to its former 1920s glory and is now one of Sydney’s most impressive landmarks. It’s worth it to come here just to see it, and soak up its elegant, old world charm and classy, stylish ambience.

We had the opportunity for a free room for the weekend as a prize. Very well setout and right in the heart of the city. Lovely huge bed, comfortable and rooms didnt smell and were of great quality. I would go again if the opportunity arose.

There are a variety of amenities on offer to those staying at Grace Hotel York Street Sydney, such as free Wi-Fi, an express check-in and check-out feature and meeting facilities. It has babysitting services, a currency exchange and a reception that is available 24 hours a day.
All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and an alarm clock.
Sydney's popular attractions and landmarks are within close proximity to The Grace, with Sydney Tower and George Street just 10 minutes away. It is also within walking distance of Hyde Park, Darling Harbour and Star Sydney Casino.
P. G.
Booked in to the Grace for business. I paid around $260 for 1 night. It is well located in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The rooms are clean and the service was excellent.
There are a couple of restaurants and an Irish pub on the ground floor. Plenty of pubs and restaurants near by.
R. D.
This is a really great hotel. Older world charm but everything works. Very close to best CBD shopping and restaurants. Easy walking to Darling Harbour. Very helpful staff. I would stay again without question.
T. S.
Comfortable stay in inner city Sydney for a work trip. Service was friendly, breakfast was comprehensive but nothing to write home about. Location really the main attraction for this simple but adequate hotel.
A.
Stayed here twice in the last year and each time it was nice and relaxing. Buffet breakfast is grand, service fast and polite from all staff. Very beautiful old building, close to all major CBD areas and in between Town Hall and Wynyard stations. Well recommended
J. K.
We stay here now each time we visit the city. We love the friendly staff, comfy bedding, the Art Deco decor, the close proximity to the city and Darling Harbour. Great value for money .
J. S.
Amazing!! I will use this hotel again. Perfect location, friendly polite staff, nice clean rooms, great breakfast selection and i loved the history of the hotel. Highly recommended
A. A. -. n. W.
Beautiful big rooms and i LOVE the marble foyer! service is good and the hotel is central to everything! good parking facilities and great restaurant attached. Murphey bar and grill downstairs has a great atmosphere and is so much fun - i would recommend their sunday roast!!
H. R.
I stayed in The Grace during our week in Sydney. It is in a great, central location in the CBD. It's close to plenty of bars and restaurants, and within walking distance of many of Sydney's tourist attractions. The rooms are a decent size however a bit dated.
Customer service could be improved as a member of the reception staff walked away from us without explanation when we were asking her a question. We also found we had to explain ourselves multiple times to be understood.
The leisure facilities are adequate assuming nobody else wants to use the pool at the same time as you do (we struggled when we both tried to swim lengths in there!)
Parking is $55 dollars a night which we have found is quite cheap for the CBD! However it's worth noting these parking facilities are a different company that have a deal with the hotel, and do require you to hand over your keys upon parking.
C.
It's an old hotel and it is really showing its age. The function rooms floor is not level, seems like the carpet is covering up some old floors.
Saw some cockroaches can be found near the coffee machine.
Food in the cafeteria was ok but nothing special.
L. H.
Lovely and very comfortable hotel that is surprisingly affordable for its style and, no pun intended, grace. Comfortable, clean and while nothing will blow you away in the basic rooms we had a lovely stay.
M. K.
The Grace is a delightful joint in a fantastic location. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is very convenient. The complimentary WiFi is only 500 mb per day but it's decent bandwidth.
N. S.
Second floor event room. Attended a ping pong event. With approx 80 people. And still so much room. Staff were amazingly attentive and super friendly, access to each floor was also easy to navigate with well lit signs.
A. I.
Overall a nice hotel. However one little thing was that I could hear voices from adjacent rooms. Staff are courteous and polite.
k. s.
attended an work seminar at the Grace Hotel. When I enter the the door, there were friendly doormen who I asked for direction for the where abouts of the function, I was been directed with clear direction as to where to go. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Overall service was great.
N. L.
Been staying at the Grace for over 20 years every time I am in Sydney. Great central location. The refurbished rooms are fabulous though too much ‘negative space’ for my tastes.
s. c.
Great hotel, only supplied 2 towels for 4 guests and had to wait over an hour for 2 more
W. C.
I stay here a few times a year while traveling on business and the location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint would be the Internet is very very slow and this is consistent throughout the entire hotel
E. 9.
Clean room, amazing service and close to middle of CBD. Bed is amazingly comfortable!
K. D.
Used hotel for conference facilities only. Tea and coffee were provided, and cookies. Data facilities were okay, it wasn't great but it was passable. A bit overpriced but this is mainly due to the location. Architectural style is dated but has a classy feel.
L. H.
My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel during our first stay in Sydney and could not believe how lovely and accommodating it was! The staff were terrific, the room was great and the location could not have been better! Highly recommend the hotel!
B. H.
Location was prime, but they did not offer a free breakfast like we thought. You can't see the opera house from here, and the garage made you stack your cars on lifts, so you hard to know when you were going to leave so that they could pull your car down for you. The pool is also TINY. However, service was great, and the location made up for everything.
S. H.
Awesome location and the remodeled rooms are great! The older rooms require a key for the power to be on. This makes charging anything while you're gone impossible.
N. N.
This place was amazing pre COVID-19

Spent 3 nights in the renovated section of the hotel.Staff excellent but disappointed with the decor in the room..no carpet..vinyl plank instead..ok for a high traffic family area but not for a hotel room that was over $400per night. No pictures on the walls..very stark..no plush curtains..cheap blockout fabric..not what I imagined for a 5 star hotel.Bathroom very small and pokey..hard to close the door to get around it to get to the toilet..this is a beautiful art deco building and once off the first couple of floors you would never know it..downstairs remnants of the art deco age remain..beautiful leadlight and light fittings. But not much else.
N. W.
Lovely place to stay. Beautiful clean and comfy rooms, perfect location in which to explore the city. Definitely recommend.
S. T.
Pleasant stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bottle water available but cost u $4.95 while u can get from supermarket for like $0.8 in huge size.
j. c.
Probably 4.5. Lovely old hotel in great shape. Friendly staff. Love the location, and we had a delicious lunch at Vapiano's, which is part of the hotel. Downtown prices, but it is a downtown hotel.
R. R.
Decent hotel in the heart of Sydney CDB, great Art Deco decor if that’s your thing... room was little dark for my liking and pillows were too hard but very clean room and nice big bed.
J. N.
Work put me up here for the week, it was a fantastic hotel in a great location. However they tried to upsell me a "delux room" which I declined, only to be given a delux room. It felt like a bit of a money grab for the room they had already allocated me. Other than this, it is a great hotel.
S. C.
Upgraded the rooms since last visit. Veryy nice indeed. Service is impeccable as always. One of my favorite hotels when visiting Sydney.
T. D.
We loved our stay! The staff are extremely nice and helpful, the area is quite clean and well situated hotel, near the primary tourist attractions of CDB.The breakfast is great.Excellent resort, we recommend it!
K. K.
I've stayed at the Grace a few times for work trips before I moved to Sydney. I have great memories from this hotel, despite the freezing air con, weird smelling corridors and terrible breakfast. Quite a nice hotel if a bit dated, and the history of the building makes it more interesting, but I doubt I would pay to stay here myself. I doubt I would have anything particularly positive to say about it staying there wasn't such a part of my history!
R.
Take care when checking into this hotel. I received in excess of $1,400 in pending authorisations on my credit and debit cards over a two night stay even though my booking was almost half this amount. They also dis-armed our room keycards and asked when we were checking out even though we had booked two nights' accommodation. Great hotel in a great location let down by inadequate admin processes.
O. C.
The location was perfect for me, the room was a good size and had everything I needed, and the service was very friendly. Even though it was central I couldn't hear a thing (my room was facing internal direction rather than out to the street).
N. G.
I stayed here for a week in April 2013. Very nice, clean room. The staff was kind and helpful, and the location in the Sydney CBD was very convenient. I did not try the wifi, so I don't have any comments on it.
I hope to get back to Sydney, and I'll probably stay at the Grace Hotel when I do.
M. M.
Nice hotel, lovely art Deco building with contemporary rooms. In the heart of Sydney so made for a good location. I would stay here again.
B. K.
Beautiful wood accents. Fantastic location. Our room was spotless. Super comfortable bed. Will definitely stay there again.
H. M.
Great place, really friendly staff. Only thing missing was a hot tub! We were so sad that there wasn't one But otherwise gorgeous rooms and great stuff. Reallt code to everything in the city
C. M.
Great style with very comfortable rooms. Great location. Easy access to any part of the city. Short walk to Opera House, Darling Harbour, Chinatown etc. Very happy.
M. L.
Amazing location for walking around the CBD, 5 minutes to darling harbor and the Queen Victoria building, 10 minutes to hyde park, 20 minutes to the bridge. Rooms as freshly renovated. Breakfast was good but a bit steep at 32usd/pp
G. C.
Central location, perfectly situated for CBD shopping and competitively priced. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the room was great. I understand that a refurbishment is underway so look forward to seeing this next time.
E. S.
We loved the hotel rooms, enjoyed the breakfast. We had a really good experience in this Hotel. The staff and service were excellent!
S. B.
Very well located in the center of the city close to all the shopping, bars and restaurants. The rooms are outdated but are well maintained, service is great and prices are OK. Would recommend this place for a relatively budgeted hotel in the middle of the city.
t.
Loved it.... walking distance to train station and major bus departures.... in the city... close to everything... spacious rooms.... I'd go back.... (didn't have breakfast etc)
M. A.
Went for a conference. Did not stay. Facilities were generally good and clean. Food was ok, desserts a bit better than the rest. Beautiful late art deco design.
D. R.
Had a very nice stay here. Rooms are good, comfortable, clean and quiet. Walking distance to pretty much every Sydney landmark you will want to see.
M. M.
Good Hotel. The room we had was a good size and very clean. The hotel its self was tidy and well kept. Buffet breakfast was awesome!
J. B.
Went to a function here. Seminar slides cut out intermittently due to what we know were the hotel's facilities. Otherwise food was delicious and the pens that were provided were really nice.
W. D.
Stayed here a few times.
Great staff, perfect location and good value.
Thanks again to the The Grace team
S. B.
Great location in the heart of CBD. Room looks old but very clean. Only things that bothers me are the old lift and lack of card security to go to floors. Imagine anyone can come up to any floor in the hotel?! Eww
S. S.
Back in April, my cousin and I visited Sydney for the first time and we booked a 2-night stay here. We opted out of room service, but everything in the room was already in fine order when we arrived, so we did not feel the need to waste resources after 1 night. The location itself is worth a stay!
P. N.
Had a function here. It's not new, but still functional. Food buffet was alright, although I've had better. I guess it did the job, but didn't excite. I would go back though.
P. C.
I've been here multiple times for seminars and presentations. It is always clean and the rooms are appropriate for the purpose but i wish they were more clearly labeled.Even though i know the room name I constantly have to search to find it.
Apart from that, it is close to both wynyard and town hall and above an irish pub.
D. L.
The hotel itself and the service is just fantastic. The buffet breakfast was disgraceful.
R. P.
Friendly staff and amazing heritage architectural finishes. Will be staying there again.
m. m.
Lovely hotel, clean quiet and great service. Breakfast is fantastic but the coffee isn't great. Will come back and recommend to friends.
H. E.
Lovely clean rooms but some of the customer service wasn't great such as staff asking judgemental questions. However most of the staff are really helpful, they were able to suggest restaurants and sights to see.
r. l.
Nice location of the hotel. It is walking distance from Darling harbour and 2 blocks away from Big bus stop. Hotel is located in shopping district.
Cheese plate and chips are a must to have if u are having a room service.
N. S.
Beautiful and elegant hotel. Rooms are well appointed and the bed is so comfortable. Centrally located too so it's close to everything.
s. n.
Great location. Wifi included. Near wynyard and town hall station so easily can get to circular station (opera house) if you don't want to walk 15 minutes. Also close to Hyde park, Sydney tower eye, Queen Victoria Building (mall).
Building has old historical architecture with modern convenience inside.
The bathrooms are very large the shower is very long. I would perhaps put more hooks on the walls or a magnifying mirror or shelf in wall to make the space more useful.
J. M.
Good location in the city, 15 min walk to the Quay, vicinity of good shops and restaurants (Westfirld 5 minutes away). Rooms spacious, price is a bit steep but I assume you are paying for the historical context of the building.
S. K.
Good Hotel in very central location, windows not to open, has a gym with a threadmill (but its a small gym, expecially the pool is tiny and indoor). Rooms are spacious. Expensive.
E. L.
Loved our stay! Premium king corner room was well worth it! Great views and convenient to many spots in the city.
S. J.
Great location. Old building. Could have better amenities. Cleaner rooms. Watched a housekeeper use a dirty towel to "wash" a glass....yuck!
L. J.
Sorry Galen, sure you took me there first, but I'm keeping the Grace. The gothic revival grandeur of the outside contrasts beautifully with the understated modern elegance of the suites. The ever helpful staff and excellent meals almost make me feel bad for taking it... well almost.
P. C.
Nice hotel with good service. The old infrastructure often showed itself-- with lack of consistent water temperature and poor TV reception. Staff was very friendly and professional.
T. M.
For the reason we stayed at the Grace it was perfect, we only have one observation and that is for out of towners the services and facilities on the ground floor, i.e.irish hotel and restaurant were not obvious enough and could be promoted more.
T. K. H.
This was my 2nd stay in Grace, the reason why we chose Grace was due to its location, it is in the middle and walking distance to most attractions, eg. Darling harbour, circular wharf, Hyde Park etc.
Just be mindful that the hotel do not provide tube soaps, toothbrushes. Had to ask them.
P. D.
Nice hotel, big rooms, some infrastructures are being remodeled, which will be good in the future but for now it's somewhat annoying.
L.
The new renovated rooms are great. I really liked the floor boards and the new decor.
D. M.
Elegant older style hotel, (modern facilities) short stay but pleasant. Would stay again, nice and Central. Great Italian restaurant down stairs
S. Y.
Staffs were very friendly and the room was very spacious, clean and good location.
Definitely will stay there again
R. B.
Location is excellent, close to George Street, only a short walk to the harbour and circular quay. Very comfortable rooms, lovely service
P. C.
Friendly staff, great service, clean and well presented rooms. What more can you ask then a convenient, comfortable, trustworthy stay.
C. S.
Old looking building on the outside with beautiful rooms on the inside. Service is really good but I didn't opt for the breakfast as it was a bit pricey.
J. R.
Have stayed here before, and loved it... One of my favourite Hotels in the CBD.. Very friendly, great rooms, great location. Will definitly stay there again.
W. I. A. H. I. W.
Fantastic location. Easy walk to everything Sydney has to offer. Rooms are clean and well serviced. Great place.
D. C.
Clean and we'll maintained room. Lovely breakfast variety at a reasonable price. Good location.
G. C.
Have stayed at The Grace several times now and I'm always happy to come back. Staff are courteous and professional, and the rooms are clean and well appointed. Also a plus that it's right in the CBD.
A. D.
Nice ambience. Good rooms. Good breakfast spread. Great location. Loved how quick the lifts worked.
R. S.
It was a terrific experience to stay here with the family. Very professional, what you would expect from such a well known hotel.
M. D.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Sydney. Art deco style, amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast included topped it all off
G. B.
The refurbishment and location make this a good place to stay. Never has been a quarantine hotel
J. S.
A+ location in the heart of Sydney. The hotel has the charm and character of an old world hotel, while also having modern and comfortable fittings. One of the better hotel options in Sydney.
J. M.
Rooms a good size and newly renovated. Good showers and beds. TVs don't work as advertised, and the staff here are just odd.
T. G.
A great place for a small conference. Enjoyed the excellent lunch with NSW Farm Writers with Dr Craig Emerson speaking. I’ll come back!
A. “. H.
Lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The room service meals are superior.
G. M.
Classic art deco style in the heart of Sydney. It's all about location and the foyer, as an older hotel the rooms (being refurbished) aren't that high end, but what location. Get a package, special rate, splash out.
A. H.
Location was great, quick walk to a big bus terminal and train. I have never been in a bigger room in my life, amazing, beautiful place and best of all, amazing shower!
M. L.
Decent room with fantastic location. Price on a higher side. Arrived around 9am but understandably no room to check me in. Came back at at 1pm, no room and was told to stick with 3pm check in time. Apart the inflexibility otherwise a comfy stay.
C. M.
The Grace has great service for large events, that worked together seamlessly to ensure everyone was looked after. The function rooms are perfect for events with many to choose from.
R. B.
Very clean and friendly staff.👍👍👍
J. F.
Great hotel. Pitty it does not have a restaurant but you can order room service. Breakfast has a great selection from buffet.
A. H.
Great location in the city, central to everything and very easy to walk around to attractions. Service was very nice and rooms quite large.
C. B.
Always a good stay at the Grace, perfectly located to visit Central Sydney. Beautiful old building and has an Irish pub on the ground floor, can't complain about that.
C. S.
Great venue, well laid out. Functional presentation suite. Food provided was very good. Aircon was set at great level. Very clean and tidy.
W. S.
I really enjoyed my stay. I'll be booking again.
N. B.
A nice place to meet for business, plenty of conference space.
Good coffee.
F. P.
I really enjoyed my stay. Historic building which is nicely renovated in a great location- easy stroll to parks, shops, restaurants and wynyard station
J. V.
Lovely huge room, premier signature I think they called our room, great historic building, perfect position for all our city needs when staying in Sydney.
A. L.
Very comfortable hotel with some charm. Facilities were good, room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Good value.
S. N.
Beautiful hotel that is wonderfully appointed. Central location within short walk of great shopping locals and food choices all around including the restaurants and pubs at the hotel itself.
J. M.
Beautiful art deco hotel in the heart of Sydney.
Take a wander into the lobby and be transported back in time.
Rooms are large, comfortable with enormous bathrooms.
R. B.
Interesting! Lovely Art Deco building and an interesting shape. Pity about the gym and 1 lane pool, which is not worth getting wet for!
R. D.
Location is perfect. Rooms are really tidy and neat. Had a slight problem with a lift (wouldn't go anywhere)
S. H.
Fantastic room, great service and a top location.
S. V.
I stay at the Grace when i visit Sydney because it is central to the places i want to explore. It accommondates all your needs, as long as its not jim beam and coke .! Supposed to check out on sunday, didnt have time to visit sea life and the wild life place after touring the Q station ( quarantine) station Manly must do feel like a drink, hotel policy ( youare only aloud to have 2 to 3 glasses of spirits )
r. m.
Attended a full day conference here. The hotel is located at the York Street and is close to Wynyard station. The hotel appears to be of a Victorian architecture. The Conference centre is massive and had multiple rooms for events of all sizes.
B. B.
Very nice staff.
V. V.
Excellent central location with friendly staff. family room accommodates 4 adults with no issues. good buffet breakfast.
T. R.
Comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely stay.
J. B.
Great service and rooms were well maintained. Had a issue with my air conditioning in the room and staff were helpful at moving me to another room to resolve the issue.
R. L.
Helpful front desk attendants. The concierge guy was less friendly than expected. Location is great. Lots of coffee shops around as well as restaurants.
m. m.
Nice spacious and very clean rooms and quiet at night. Very good staff. Great location for walking around the city.
A. W.
This place has good food. On street level, there is Italian place with fresh pasta dishes, Cafe with coffee and yummy biscuits, Japanese with effordable bento & soup, then you can go inside to find a Malaysian restaurant that serves good Hainan chicken rice, laksa, nasi goreng, Nasi lemak and on Fridays, yummy fish curry. Give it a try if you ever in this area
T. P.
The Grace staff were extremely professional. Rooms cleam and comfortable. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend!
S. K.
Very comfortable bed and 5 star service will go back for sure
S. T.
The location is on York st. To come to it from airport is a whirlpool. It is at the corner of York and king. While both king and York are one ways. So few options: if you come from darling harbour side, try to take the exit for the harbour bridge but be at the left side. It will fork out and right one goes towards harbour bridge and left one becomes king street. Then on king street try to be at the right hand side. It's at the corner of York, but u need to take right on york. There is place to stop. Mind it bothers king and York st are extremely busy roads round the clock.
If u come from the kings cross. Try to get to market street. Be on the right hand side after crossing George st. Dont try to get on to York st from market. It is wrong way. The far right lane will become right hand turn only. Then turn right on clearance st. Be on the right hand side on clearance st. Next intersection is king street crossing. Take right turn and subsequent right turn is York st. THE GRACE HOTEL is at the corner.
The other way is if u come from city north, or north Sydney. Get on to York st. Be on the right hand side. After crossing the KING st, it is the immediate corner right hand side.
Please be very careful about parking and NO STOPING. rangers are everywhere. Any time of the day or night. And fines are costly!!!!
A. W.
4.5 star hotel right in the middle of the CBD. Location is excellent within walking distance to both wynyard and town hall stations, QVB and Westfield shopping centre.
Hotel has a lap pool, spa and sauna as well as a small fitness centre. Favourite thing about it is the sundeck.
D. M.
Great location. Comfy rooms. Good breakfast. Would stay again.
I. R.
Twin sharing room was a but noisy.
Jr. Suite was well worth.
Friendly staff good fitness centre.
W. W.
Have come here on several occasions for lunch at the Grace Brasserie for a work function and the buffet is fairly good, although not great. The desserts are good, some very good.
M. C.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay, would definitely like to stay there again. The hotel situated in the heart of the city.
K. B.
I went there for a work meeting and had breakfast. If was incredible. The interior is gorgeous and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen

Very nice hotel. Big, clean rooms. Quiet. Great location to walk to everything.
T. C.
Great attitude on part of front office staff, large well appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. Recommended.
K. M.
Absolutely stunning hotel, awesome service, immaculate rooms, very central to shops and Darling Harbour, will definitely be returning.
H. K.
Very nice .. old style ... hotel. Very nice rooms very good breakfast buffet. Excellent service, liked it very much.
J. N.
Renovations are awesome, although the light switches are not identified and in some confusing spots. Eg bathroom light switch is located in front entrance to room and not in the bathroom.
J. k.
Heart of the CBD. Good location. However the rooms are little run down. Even the towels were quite old. Good spread of breakfast.
P. B.
Perfectly happy. Great, nicely sized rooms, very friendly staff. Ideal for our quick weekend getaway.
K.
Great customer service, excellent food. Great for corporate events. Close to Wynyard station, easy for interstate delegates to get to the venue.
J. B.
The hotel is centrally located. The restaurant options downstairs and around the hotel are pretty good. Some areas through which one has to go upstairs are too deserted.
B. S.
Great accomodation and attentive staff. Met all our needs. Central to the city. Good quality.
M. H.
Rooms are decent. front of house is a bit weird though with prepayment on room service. Don't think I would stay here again.
F. G.
My room here was awesome and unmatched in comfort! The entire experience from booking, checking in all the way to checking out was flawless.
E. W.
We enjoyed a very tasty lunch at the Irish pub located inside the hotel. The food, service and pints of Kilkenny were great
J. O.
Great Location in the heart of the city. Beautiful art deco building. Renovated rooms.. a little short on service
J. L.
Location is fantastic central to transport, in the heart of the city and access to great restaurants. Nice lunch buffet and very comfortable rooms.
N. H.
Rooms are nice. Central location. Prices vary greatly from night to night starting at 190 for standard room 370 for the next one up and then for the same room the following night 510.
M. P.
Excellent location a block form the beating heart of Sydney in a grand Art Deco building. Big rooms, buffet breakfast available, friendly staff.
S. Y.
Very good location;
Station,QV Market, Daring Harbour, Sydney Harbour, shops....
Room's clean and quite.
Friendly staffs.
What else you need more?.
J. L.
Very tidy and neat. Rooms are spacious and very clean. No noise disturbance even though it's by a busy street.
J. R.
Very good

Great location, perfect meeting place for people traveling from all over Sydney. Classy and elegant with table service, and piano player on occasion
B. C.
Great location, beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff. The fitness facility on the roof was quite neat and peaceful
P. F.
Really enjoyed the Art Deco styling, excellent service in all areas, and a particular highlight was the live music on the grand piano in the foyer, every evening.
N. B.
The refurbished ex headquarters for Grace Brothers. Modern rooms efficient service. Parking is a pain.
S. R.
Had breakfast here. Was just beautiful. Air con just a little cold though. Art deco paradise. Come in and chill.
c. s.
Pretty cool hotel, lots of amenities on location. Room was comfortable and well furnished.
R. B.
A landmark art deco hotel with an impressive foyer. Located in the heart of the city and featuring a variety of restaurants and a cafe on the bottom floor.
K. G.
Lovely hotel, nice rooms and amenities. Brilliant Irish pub downstairs and a nice restaurant/cafe. Well located in Sydney CBD.
S. P.
Good location for a city visit. Good rooms and helpful staff. Irish pub on ground floor well patronized and serves good pub grub.
P. P.
We love the Grace Hotel but rate down a little as maintainance on room was neglected this time and we couldn't get the kids package due to problems with their booking.
M. R.
Room is clean & tidy just dated. Location is superb with most things you need within short walking distance
R. T.
Very clean and professionally featured hotel in the heart of Sydney CBD. Great for quick lunches or formal seminars.
T. F.
Good quick food options downstairs during the day. I only went here quickly for lunch so cannot comment on the hotel itself
r. d.
Lovely hotel. Old school service. Nice mini bar. Bit dated in places, but clean.
T. G.
The staff at the Grace Hotel allowed me to check in early after calling them, the entire check-in process was extremely easy. The service was top! Thanks for a great stay.
D.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Sydney CBD. Breakfast buffet has a good range and Vapiano on the ground floor is a good addition.
J. B.
Decent hotel in a prime location with reasonable room upgrade prices. The Italian restaurant in the same building is a passable option for a quick bite.
D. C.
Very good
S. G.
Clean rooms, good water pressure in the showers and great customer service. Really central to fldarling harbour and close to the QVB as well as Wynyard.
C. S.
I've stayed here several times over the years, nice big rooms, great room service menu, the burger with beetroot relish is delicious.
W. E.
Wonderful old historic hotel, clean, friendly staff, triple glazed windows for quiet, close to all the fun stuff in Sydney.
T. K.
Great location close to downtown. Newly renovated rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful.
N. L.
Check in process was painful. Standard hotel that reminds me of New York City style building and rooms. Good irish pub and Italian restaurant down stairs
L. S.
The service was very good and the room comfortable. The wifi was abysmal though, coming in at only 1.5mbps which is just useless.
A. V.
It was a great experience at the grace hotel everyone was very helpful the food was good to but the best thing I liked the most is that the people at the grace hotel treated you as if you was their family and I like that in a hotel and the next time I'm in Australia Sydney I know we're I'm going to be staying at
M. J.
Great location. The staff were good. Bed and pillows were comfy. Will definitely stay here again.
H. W.
What a beautiful place. So close to darling harbour. Old world charm and service with modern amenities
J. J.
Great location in the heart of Sydney CBD. The Grace is only a five minute walk from Wynyard train station and a ten minute walk from Martin Place train station.
Being centrally located between the train stations it makes it extremely easy to reach the rest of Sydney by public transport.
B. H.
Very nice hotel. Right in the city. Friendly staff. That's how a hotel must be. Thank you for the nice stay.
