B.I stayed there for two weeks (private room) : Great quality for reasonable price in Bondi beach , very clean! but the 5 stars are definitely for the staff, super friendly and helpful from the beginning until the end ! Special thanks to one of the girl at the reception , Susana, and to Diego, who are very professional and joyful people.
j. e.This hostel is a bit of a mess, it is true that is cheaper than some other hostels in the area but it has two big disadvantages.
1. The kitchen is not clean enough, a lot of people don’t clean what they use properly.
2. In my case, I was first placed in a very small room in which you couldn’t even walk, after complaining they changed me to a bigger one for the same price. Apparently those small rooms are only used when the hostel is completely booked. Watch out for this because you don’t want to get one of this rooms!
Other than this, the rest of the experience was fine, I met nice people here and I the staff was nice.
C. M.The hostal is super cool, I had a very good time there, Mila speaks Spanish and the staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. I will come back there as soon as I get back to Sydney
S. W.It was really small. With the same amount of beds per dorm, the room itself may be smaller or larger. The staff clean up everyday so its quite clean. The location is great and the people were quite chill. Good place to stay for about 2 days, no longer. I got a really small room, but my friend had a quite spacious one compared to mine. The kitchen is quite small too. Many people cooking at the same time especially during meal times. I am not sure if I would stay here again but I had a quite an experience and met great people!

T. P. P.We got a room for couple for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy with private bathroom inside. The bathroom was a bit small but still clean and just had enough space for activities. Staffs were nice. The kitchen was good.
The problem we got was just with the air-conditioner. It did not work properly. It needs to be repaired.
J. D.For the price and location, it was perfect! The private room was more than adequate for 2 nights. The room and ensuite were basic, yet clean and practical. The bed is super creeky and not all that comfy. Staff were mediocre; not great, not terrible. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again...if they get new mattresses.

The rooms are quite small but clean and every single room has a bathroom in it. If you are traveling with big suitcases, there are few storage area for you to put the suitcase in.
Kitchen and the common areas are located underground, so won’t effect to people who want to sleep early.
There are no weekly rate here, but price is cheap.
Overall not a bad hostel to stay for those who don’t have many things to carry.

Ok the rooms is little and there is not very big space to stay,but there is a chill room,a tv room and 2 dining room,the people that work there was lovely and don't take me longer to become friend of everyone.
Very close to the beach you don't going to find something so cheap close to....if you look for an accomodation with big space this is not the place for you,you going to be in contact with a lot of people almost all the time,and the best time to stay is the low season.

M.I've been to so many hostels around the world and this is one of the cleanest.. nice single bed in an 8 people room with 1 toilet but housekeeping maintaince the cleanliness of the toilet and the bins, nice air con perfect for the sweltering hot summer in Sydney for the price of $23 pr night in an 8 bed room. Very close to the beach, woolies, shops and bus stop. Thumbs up!
A. B.For a hostel it was quite nice, my sister and I shared a private room for 32 $ each a night which included a bunkbed, wardrobe, small table and chairs and a sink. Lots of bathrooms and showers available with a bit of a delay for hot water. Had a strange time at check in as we has made our booking online and the price we were asked for when we arrived were different, not a ton just a few bucks but annoying none the less. Its close enough to walk to bondi quickly but far enough that it is quiet. Overall I would go back there again.

The beds are okay and clean. Showers are clean, depending on the time of day. There are enough of them if the one closest to your room is occupied.
It's a relatively quiet hostel. I would not advertise it as a party-hostel but more as a cosy/friendly one.
ד. א.The room might be a little bit crowded if you are staying in 4 bed room full of guests. But the staff are doing the best to not fill these rooms. The facilities are nice and clean, the beds are very comfortable and the location is great.
M. B. R.New, clean. the rooms aren’t big, but come on, it’s a Hostel and if glyph are 2 you have your own with your bathroom for a really cheap price. They have access card so it’s really safe.

N. F.Never been to a backpacker hostel before so can't compare but It suited our needs very well as only needed a couple of days in bondi. Was only 1 street off bondi beach. Room simple but clean with small fridge and tv. Shared toilet/bathroom facilities on all floors. Secure electronic card/key locking doors. Only down side was while the room had 2 rotating fans in summer it was still quite warm but tollerable. We would stay here again.
J. H.Lamrock Lodge is one of the better hostels that I have stayed at. It has all the important things you really need in a hostel. It is clean, safe, friendly staff, good service. It is not a party hostel, there is a nice cross section of people. There is no drinking or smoking on the premises. Its a five star hostel based on price, value, quality, and location. No other hostel in Sydney has this unique value and combination.
L. S.The rooms are small and cramped. There are to many beds in the rooms. It's as if you're sleeping on an airplane with a small aisle to walk past the other passengers. The kitchen is way to small and cramped with 3 gas stoves each having 4 ranges on it, but is hard to work with when there are 80+ people also trying to prepare a meal. The layout of the building is odd and I breifly got lost my 3rd day there.
G. L. L.It's the cheapest in Bondi Beach. It could be cleaned better and the bathroom near Room 11 floor stays wet all the time. Needs Dri-Deck installed or sloping floors. The outside sitting area closes at 7:30 P.M., no alcohol, security present. Beds are good and it's quite. Would stay again.

L. W.Rooms weren't entirely clean, laundry was completely out of order, as were the vending machines. No air conditioning either. However, location is good, rates are cheap and the staff were friendly.
T. M.Within walking distance. New and Clean Hilton designed for the holiday traveler. Its very worth the money we'd paid. The breakfast spread is good and nice,. I was always greeted with a smile. I will return in just a couple of weeks from now and I am looking forward to going back :).

The price was just about the cheapest in Bondi, we payed $400 a week for our private double room which we had our own small bathroom and a small kitchenette area. We even had a tv. The room was tiny but for the price was very good.
The only down side is that the place is absolutely rotton with dirt! The so called cleaner's only 'clean' once a week. They tried to get away with just changing the sheets on a few occasions so we asked them if they would mind cleaning the room aswel but they just huff and puff, needless to say they where incredibly rude and spoilt our day a few times. I dont think I need to mention the kitchen area!
Laura on the desk was very nice and as I said it is the cheapest in Bondi.
If you can look past the dirt or clean your own room like I did, then stay. Just be prepared for grime!
J. P.Brand new and very clean/comfortable, air conditioning and en suites in evey room. Reasonably priced. Location is good, but lacking in the social aspect of things, no activities and no real common area apart from a tiny tv room. I would recommend Bondi Backpackers if you need a room in Bondi Beach, its worth the extra cash.
J. S.Although the rooms were too small and cramped, the service provided was alright. The manageress was very helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed and gave us good tips on where to go and what to do in Sydney.
T. M.We had bites from the bed bugs everywhere on our body, it was like we were in a War. The staff where so noisy banging around constantly from 7am. We will definitely not come back to this hostel and we have contacted the police about the drug dealing on premises.

C. S.Place was okay, it's close to the beach, which is awesome however parking around Bondi is not fun or cheap. If you want to go to a beach and have a car, don't go to Bondi.
We were lucky enough to get a genuine pot smoking, dubie rolling I-talian in our room, who would probably get a 10 out of 10 for skill at rolling the smoothest joints. He was a messy bugger looked like he had been there for a few weeks. Shout out to Pedro

W.i have spent 7 days in this hostel... we stayed in double bunk bed room... very small room... very small bathroom... clean and newly renovated... kitchen with all equipments... tv room available... it has all basic facilities required in hostel and backpackers... helpful staff... cant talk loud after 10 pm... 5 mins walk from the beach and all restaurants... 50$ per day per room is worth it if you are staying with friends...
