I didn’t use the kitchen or lounge facilities really as I had other work to do or friends to visit so can’t comment on them but the location is great and I nice part of the suburb.
F.Highly recommended!! Got to stay over 6 weeks. Nice vibes, clean and neat. Large gardens surrounded by trees to chill and have an evening drink. A little Oasis in Sydney in a quite area. Thanks Jorge for being always kind and helpful during our stay there.

A. m.This was my first time staying here due to a family vacation and my experience i could say is not pretty bad. Rooms were all clean and the good thing about this place is that it is near public transit and Shopping centre so you wont get bored at all. Staff were all accommodating. Great job!

S. S.In my opinion one of Sydney's best. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Bed- as well as the Bathrooms are fairly nice and clean. The same in the kitchen and common area. Definitely a pro point as well, the bunk beds are less squeaky and more comfortable than usual. Every bed has its own USB charger, power point and lamp.
Every 15 minutes departs a bus, that brings you in 10 minutes in the inner city.
For just $22/night in a 4 bed mixed dorm, highly recommend!
J. H.Very good and clean hostel. The personal is very friendly and the rooms are quite good. Breakfast is from 8am to 10am and it is for free, also very good. In the evening everyone sits outside and its a nice atmosphere. I recommend this hostel specially for backpackers.
T. B.A really great hostel, the rooms are large and clean and the outside garden area is awesome for socialising. It's a great hostel to meet people. The free breakfast is pretty good and the free BBQ on Thursdays is even better. There is a TV room also if you want to relax and watch a movie. It's perfect for people staying in Sydney long term and working.
P. L.A great value hostel in a fabulous part of Sydney. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The dorms are generally well spaced and the free breakfast and the free bbq are great touches. Definitely a long-term stay feel to the place but if that's what you're looking for, perfect.

S. B.Brilliant place, great to meet people. Everyone hangs out in the communal areas and the staff put on some really nice extras; free barbeque on Friday evenings (really good including meat, salad and pasta) free pancakes on Sunday mornings and complimentary tea, coffee and toast and bread rolls every morning. I have been comping back here every few months and ended up with a real family of friends here. The only negative is that the night manager can be a real uptight pr**k. He goes around at 10pm shouting at everyone to get indoors and tends towards getting a bit abusive, even to the backpackers who are harmless and aren't causing any trouble. You are not allowed to be outside in the communal areas after 10pm, even to have a cigarette on your own.

I feel the organising of bed allocation was out sync when we visited. Me and my friend had booked 2 beds for two nights to have us separated into two different buildings firstly. The first night a mistake was made with one of the beds in my room that left someone who had booked a bed, bedless in the middle of the night. This resulted a man who was on the nightshift in the hostel waking everyone in the room to ask everyone's name, to find out that they had double booked a bed. Not sure what happened to the guy but I know the hostel was fully booked. While my friend had three English lads come or brought with them a rav that kept everyone up till they passed out. The second night has minor issues, like the hostel staff unmade my bed and dumped my stuff on the floor. Which lead me, out of fear of a repeat of the previous night to enquired that my bed was reserved and it was.
Apart from that the atmosphere in the place is great, the free breakfast is superb and the area its in is quiet and good for parking at night.
Oh there's the Toxteth hotel down from it that does €5 beers imfor happy hour, check it out.

Spacious outdoor area (closes at 10pm) where you can socialize with fellow travelers, and a big TV room for those nights where you want to veg out and relax. The city center is just a bus ride away, if you want more action, as well as some great bars in Glebe
V. H.Good hostel but not the best, dirty bathroom in the room, locker not really good, weak Wi-Fi and not free, housekeepers clean the room very bad, no elevator.
Nice suburb, free breakfast, free spaghetti, free bbq and free drink. Staff really friendly, quiet area, security guard at night, kitchen really nice, tv lounge, bed comfortable, AU$5 laundry, free washing powder but dryer not really good. Near the park, bus, cafe, restaurant.

S. K.I've never stayed in a hostel with security? Very strange, especially being kicked out of the courtyard at 10. Seems too early, even for a residential area. Also quite expensive and not a convenient location, although it's a very nice area.

1.The Glebe Village is a nice Backpacker Accomodation in Glebe. It's very quiet and has a very nice Courtyard to chill out. Enjoy your meal under nice palm trees. The Glebe Village has a big kitchen and a friendly decorated reception. The Reception Staff is always very friendly but the manager is a bit rugh sometimes. But that is his job and it works :)

Meiner Meinung nach eins der besten Hostels in Sydney. Ruhige Lage aber trotzdem mit Bus und Bahn nur einige Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Es gibt kostenloses Wifi und jedes Zimmer vefügt über eine Klimaanlage und ein eigenes Bad. Das Personal ist sehr nett und sitzt abends auch gerne mit den Gästen zusammen.
Preislich ist das Hostel wirklich sehr gut. Habe lange Zeit nur 20 dollar für ein 4er Zimmer bezahlt.
Außerdem gibt es eine ausreichend Große Küche, einen Tv room und ein Laundry.
Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist kann einen Parkschein erwerben oder in einer der hinteren Gassen kostenfrei parken.

Par contre les lits grincent, la salle de bain est lavée tous les jours mais est tres vite sale... quelque cafard sur la terrasse et rarement dans les chambre. Je n'ai pas eu de problème pour ma part en ayant fait 5 chambres différentes.
Terrasse sympathique mais fermée après 22h.
