Fairly nice sweet shop with a wide variety of sweets, sours, chips, chocolates and overseas selection available. There is a card surcharge for anything under $3 AUD Blackabys is a shop that has been around for many years and has so many things and is well liked. It has many cheap things from 10c to much more expensive things... things for kids and adults alike!

This is a great little store full of exciting and exotic Candy from a few locations around the world. The jelly bean dispenser has so many flavours that I had never seen before, and you can purchase as much or as little as you like. We went in during Halloween and so they had a few extra special treats on the day. Definitely worth visiting and buying some yummy treats.

This hidden gem is located on James Place amongst all the eateries. It is a beautiful store, a child’s dream candy store.... It has had a recent reshuffle on the inside and it looks even roomier, makes the store more enticing. The kids never get bore coming here, they prefer this one to the other in TTP.

Amazing array of sweets and international treats and drinks, though a little pricey it is definitely worth taking a look and it'll be impossible not to buy something. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable too!

This is a wonderful sweet shop. Full of sweets that I remember from my childhood. I highly recommend this place, its done up beautifully outside, the inside is jam packed with a vast variety of sweets, complete with creaking wooden floorboards, another reminder of my childhood, but this time of my old family home.

Omgoodness customer service needs to be 10 stars. Blackebys replied to Facebook message. I ordered my lollies and paid. 9.45am message sent ready for delivery. 4.20pm lollies arrived. All same day! Will be back every year for our boiled Lollies for Glass Pinata Christmas Cookies 🎄

After checking Charlesworth, Haighs and Koko Black for pineapple or melon candy, I was finally referred to Blackebys and I did not leave disappointed. They have an excellent variety of candy flavours and a couple of sections of potentially fancier candy which I did not look at. The staff were nice and quick to serve me at the checkout, and the store was overall visually pleasing. Now my favourite, affordable candy shop in Adelaide.

Cool place to take the kids for a little treat. They have lots of sweets from Europe too!! The variety is good you can find expensive and cheap candies. Service is good and fast. I love their facade it is very cool and hippie. Inside is not so inviting but definitely has everything for a candy store.

Found the place tucked away in a little alleyway off Rundle Mall, the smell hits you about halfway down the alley, and as soon as you enter the shop, your senses are assaulted by all manner of pleasant smells sights and sounds. Shelves upon shelves loaded with every possible sweet imaginable and then some, it smells like they make the sweets in shop (although im not sure if that is the case) and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend if you need to get some gobstoppers to quiet the kids for 30 minutes

I took my daughter in here... I dont know who was more amazed, everything from my childhood to the modern day stuff, and there prices were more than reasonable.... This is now the first stop every time we visit the city. Well done on keeping the traditional style store to...

A wonderful hole-in-the-wall sweet shop, despite the gaudy exterior seeming to indicate otherwise. As an American, it's always refreshing to find some of my favorite candies here. Other countries have brands here as well! Even despite the import + conversion rate, it's still worth at least one experience in my eyes.

A good selection of both local and imported lollies. Don't know if it's just me, but selection seemed a bit smaller than last time I visited. Some of the prices are a little high.
