The Cold Rock Wilston store is located in a food precinct in Wilston, Brisbane. There are lots of nice little restaurants and eateries nearby. Parking is a little bit of a challenge but if you’re willing to walk for your ice cream, then you'll eventually find somewhere to park. The first thing I notice is the store is brightly lit and the smell is fresh and cold. No odours. The staff behind the counter are all smiling and happy. There is a family of about seven children ahead of me and their orders are being taken quickly and efficiently. I'm looking at all the ice cream and mixings and fix on mint choc chip plus freckles. My request is taken with a smile and I watch intently as ice cream is scooped and laid on the cold counter top and then 'chopped'. A small number of freckles are added and 'cracked' into the ice cream. I had asked for a cup rather than a cone and it was served with a small spoon and a smile. I wonder if Cold Rock would consider using reusable spoons or sustainably developed wooden spoons rather than plastic in the near future. My ice cream is delicious and the crunch of the freckles is great. I'm surprised that for the middle of winter, ice cream is so popular. The store gets busier after I receive my ice cream. I'll come here again.

I've been coming to this cold rock for over 10 years. the service is always friendly and if they ever overfill they always give me the extras too. my favourite combo is cheesecake ice cream with nutella and strawberry mix in's.

I called the girls tonight to complain about an order but then realised it wasn't their fault and it was UBERS ! The girls where so lovely and friendly and the icecream was delicious !! Thank you dolls x
