Busy bakery in Kenilworth. Yummy ice-creams & the coffee was good. Service friendly but a long wait for our ice-creams. They gave us a double scoop, perhaps due to the long wait. Lots of shaded seating. Great selection of cheese, yoghurt, honey, etc to bring home.

Great place to visit with reasonable prices but be mindful that is a very busy and popular spot. It was a very long wait to receive ice-cream in a cone. We were pleasantly surprised when we were given 2 scoops instead of the one scoop of ice-cream that we had ordered. It was great to see that they are pro-active in rewarding customers for waiting so long. Definitely returning with esky to stock up on milk, yoghurt and cheese.

Some of the best cheese I have ever tasted. Favourites are the truffle triple cream brie and the chili garlic haloumi. Also the macadamia and mango cheddar and the bell pepper cheddar, but actually there wasn't one cheese we didn't like. The mousse is delicious too. The only problem is I can't get Kenilworth cheese where I live in northern NSW 😭 We had the cheese and fruit box when we visited, no extra charge for gluten free crackers. It was delicious and plentiful. The coffee was great too. Only suggestion is to get recycling bins, I felt negligent having to throw our big cardboard cheese platter box and coffee cups in the rubbish.

Amazing cheese, ice cream, coffee and chocolate mouse!!! Great sitting area under tree shade, exactly what we needed to break a road trip long drive! Definitely recommend anyone passing through there to stop and have a taste! :)

Pretty disappointed really. Everything is in takeaway containers with lots plastic containers. From watching staff, it is all bundled up in the rubbish bin & thrown away. We had the ploughmans platter, delivered in a pizza box. No explanation as to which cheese was which (had to guess). Milkshake served in coated cup with plastic straw. Everyone we saw was sitting down to eat their food (not takeaway). It’s impossible to cut the meats with a wooden knife! Much better idea is serve up platters on proper cheeseboards with proper knives & it can all be reused. Milkshakes in reusable containers with paper straws! Maleny dairy have the right idea & are much more sustainable, not to mention let u know what cheeses u r eating!

Just got back from camping Kenilworth region for a few days. It has loads to offer and is definately worth a visit. The Mary River is flowing nicely for a swim on a hot day. Day trip to Imbil and a swim in the dam overflow. I have been visiting this place for years now. You have really excelled in your approach to providing the most amazing lunches all I can say is WOW. The Ploughmans lunch Yummo. Coffee superb. Cheese, dairy, culinary delights for all to taste your products are well presented & it's definitely worth the journey. There is also a magnificent park opposite the Kenilworth dairy BBQ,flying fox great outdoor playing equipment for the children. Everyone put it on your bucket list. This journey will not disappoint. Thankyou to all the staff great service you have certainly displayed the true blue country hospitality. It's a credit to all of the Kenilworth Team. Beside doughnut in Kenilworth is super famous, I would say another awesome place to visit is this place. If you have young children this is even better. The shop is right across a beautiful, fun and challenging park for the little one, you can leave them their and walk across the street and get some ridiculously good chocolate mousse. And while you at it, choose of the of 100 favour cheese in the shop.

Great coffee. Well actually Turkish delight hot chocolate. Along with the expected cheese and yoghurt selection. The bum hummer range caused a giggle.

By far the best chocolate mousse you will ever eat! There have been some improvements to the premises in the last few years and they have managed to keep the classic factory style as well which is great to see. Nice garden area to relax in too.

Can't believe we have been in Kenilworth 3 x and this is the first time we've heard about them, yoghurt is the best we've had, the mousse is to die for, and they sell real milk which is nice and creamy, Ice cream is super smooth, love all the flavoured cheeses, and the frozen yoghurt is just perfect for a hot day, yip we had a big spend up when we finally found them then had to go back for a 2nd time before we left the area

Had what sounded like a nice pie for lunch. Arrived microwaved, hot pastry cold meat. Then purchased a tomato 🍅 dip and to my horror found it was only less than 10% Australian product. Thought this place would only be supporting their local producers. Look carefully before you buy. I wouldn't go back there.

Amazing cheese, delicious coffee. A must stop if you're in Kenilworth. We had the tasting platter which gave such a great variety of all the different flavours, especially ones we would normally not have chose that ended up being some of our favourites. Triple cream brie was to die for. Pickled onions and chives would not normally be something I'd want to try but it was delicious. 5/5 without a doubt!

Did a day trip with 12 and 10 old girls with this being our focus point. Last visited in the late 90’s early 00’s and was pleasantly surprised at the upgrade of the cheese factories/dairy they not only have the factory but a great local southeast qld produce range and Poppy’s cafe has a good selection of food on the menu! We ordered the cheese platter for 2 ($35), it came out in a pizza box (expected) and had 4 sizeable pieces of cheese, plenty of apricots and fresh fruit, 2x jams, but only 8 crackers (definitely need more for the amount of cheese) I also added a serve of salami ($2.50) to the dish but it never arrived 🙄 we ordered 3 sausage rolls, they were pretty dry and not very palatable but we were hungry so ate them, but the thick/milk shakes were amazing. We sat in the lovely garden area and enjoyed our lunch and the birds wandering around... well worth the visit and a lovely spot for a sandwich and a milkshake! They even had blue heaven flavouring for the milkshake! Yumm

We are staying at the Showgrounds across from the dairy so have made a few visits & have bought yogurt, chocolate moose & cheese with it all being very yummy might even have to go back again before we leave 😊 it’s so very well set out so you can sit & enjoy a meal or just get your take away . Kenilworth Cheese is a guaranteed destination whenever we're in the neighbourhood. The drive itself is worth the effort as it offers a delightful tour of the hinterlands. When there, it's great to taste-test the large range of cheeses on offer. That inevitably leads to buying a large range of cheeses, although their amazing yogurts and chocolate mousse (salted caramel, awesome!) also make it into the basket! Once finished with shopping, visitors can take a break and enjoy lunch, coffee or ice cream from the kiosk. Taking a stroll through the township is also nice as there are multiple stores to visit, ranging from the highly regarded bakery to fashion/home decor businesses. Just outside of Kenilworth are some wonderful bush walks that are also worth the effort.

Popped in while in town to check out the bakery and was pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of cheeses, mousse and gelato. You don't actually go inside the factory as the shop is on the outside where you can taste free samples and relax with a coffee as there is ample seating. Mousse was to die for so would recommend a visit just for that!

Yum! The cheese, mousse and yoghurt were all so creamy and delicious. The free tastings are great. Staff were helpful and very friendly. We didn't eat at the coffee shop as we had just been to the bakery but will be definitely be back for another visit. I recommend that you take a cooler bag or esky. They have small ones for sale but if you buy heaps like we did, you will need more cold space. There is also a great park accross the road which we all loved.

Its a bit of drive for us to get here, but is one we make a couple time a year. There's a great selection of cheeses and we always end up buying too much. Buy the cheese, eat it at the park (beside the factory) while the kids play then go back for an ice-cream before the drive home :)

Stopped in for a takeaway coffee this afternoon. Was blown away at how friendly the service was. Had a good chinwag with the staff. Really good coffee and OMG definitely do not try the Bailey's Irish Cream Fudge; it is spectacular! Expensive, but SPECTACULAR! They also have a huge range of different cheeses and yoghurts available for purchase which I presume are from the Dairy, plus some testing taster samples, although these obviously cop a pounding from greedy buggers like myself. There are lots of other items available from other local producers.

Love the little town of Kenilworth, we were recommended to visit here. Cheeses were delish! Love the cheese. We got an ice cream each, and I have to say we were disappointed. They were crumbly and very icy, (icy chunks throughout) not a smooth texture that you would expect. It made for an unpleasant experience. The place is in a great location, has a lot of potential given the amount of people visiting.

Love your cheese, wish you would bring back curry cheese. I buy your yoghurt weekly, but l come and visited while on holidays, from Mackay and bought Mango & Macadamia yoghurt, and l couldn't eat it. It was so sour. Sorry. But l will still buy your products.

IMPROVEMENTS ♡ Heaps of picnic seating ♡ Big Sun Sails SAMPLES Great selection of cheeses Need to check yoghurt / mouse options and replenish more often.... LAYOUT Directs everyone to lineup in a orderly manner to chutney, samples, cold fridge selection to checkout. STAFF & SERVICE Disappointing Older woman was forced to ask three times for help, in the end she had to raise her help today (New years eve day) to get two young people to help. Ice-cream orders were slow and you could see customers having to wait in line to be served (10-15 mins), then forced to wait again for their ice-cream were frustrated / annoyed. We passed on ice cream and so did the family behind us. NEGATIVES No carry baskets?? More samples and regular replenishment More serving staff

You need to come and "tast" for your self! as my words don't do the product justice, i have found the best tasting cheese around and keep coming back for more, even my kids (7-13yrs old) love the way they can tast the full range of cheese and yogurt and they normally convince us to buy "there" favorites as well as mine, this place and the town is a gem hidden away, keep up the great work🧀
