The BEST hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my life! I walked in asking for a white hot chocolate but the chocolate expert talked me into trying his famous dark hot chocolate and it was amazing and the smell was just as Devine! I wanted to savour every last drop! And the chocolates were also delicious! very high quality! Thank you!

The owner is lovely and extremely talented. The chocolates look and taste wonderful, and it was incredibly interesting seeing and hearing how they are made. The choclates we got from Nutpatch were so nice and the time that has been put into every piece that is hand made is just amazing. The time that they took to explain about the work they put into each and every choclate was very kind of them. They took the time to talk to our kids and the generosity they had to give our kids some broken samples was very kind of them. If your in the area of Salamanca markets it is a must. Purchase some of the chocolates they make as they are very nice. And the kids were so happy to take home to show their friends the chocolate ipads they had chosen before the eat. If in Hobart again we will be back to buy more.

We have visited twice in 2 days. John, the owner and head chocoloteir is an incredibly nice fellow and the chocolate he produces- oh my God- I think the nicest and best presented I've ever had. Definitely worth the visit.

Absolutely delightful chocolate! So many lush varieties to choose from and so little time to taste them. My family and I were in Hobart for only 1 day so we made sure to visit the store. Delicious! Gorgeous handmade chocolates and really friendly service. We always love having a bit of a chat when we pop in. Our daughter is often surprised with a small cup of melted chocolate direct from the machine as a treat. Love buying from here. My favourite chocolate is their Elderberry and Pepper..

My family and I visited Nutpatch last week returning to our car after the Taste of Tasmania. As this was our first visit here we were all amazed at the beautifully decorated chocolates and then Mr Zitto, the proprietor told us that he had made and designed nearly all the chocolates, we were just absolutely amazed at the beautiful design and variety. These are premium quality chocolates of the highest quality. Mr Zitto gave us a short history of how he started his expertise in quality chocolate. On returning home and trying the sweets I was just so impressed that now I know where I will be buying that something for a gift to special people but also to myself. I recommend with the highest confidence the Nutpatch Chocolate Shop situated at the Hobart wharves. A special Thanks to Mr Zitto for your information, friendly service.

I found the most delicious chocolates here at Nutpatch. We were visiting Hobart last month and I bought a few. Nice hot super dark chocolate drink with the hand-made liquor truffles Gin Chocolate were what we needed during the Saturday cold afternoon. The main artisan is friendly to let us taste the melt chocolate base which he is making the Easter Eggs. The price is reasonable for good hot drink.
