Been traveling past this shop by train at Essendon station Decided to go on Saturday evening after dinner as I stay close by. I was pleasantly surprised the vast flavours and sooooooooo good quality and stunning taste of two choices. Definitely will go back I really recommend this Gelatery

Nice Ice cream, but I was standing in line for a long time at 4PM 30/11 with 1 person serving icecream and 4 preparing in the back ground... that is just poor management.

This gelateria is the flagship store which has another 19 store in Victoria. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, amazing icecream and gelati an friendly staff. The scoop servings here are massive! The special flavour was amazing. A mango and Yuzu cheesecake was such a great combination with the biscuit, cheesecake and Yuzu pieces. The mango sorbet has a nice velvety and smoothe texture and taste exactly if you were having a fresh mango.

Augustus has always been on my to try list and finally I got a taste at their Essendon store. A bright and spacious space, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings, this is the place to go to for your ice cream fix. With a wide variety of flavours to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice here. We tried the coconut pandan, vegan PBJ, kinder surprise and watermelon sorbet. The sorbet was incredibly refreshing and light on the palate, while the other three flavours were creamy and smooth. Textural elements came in the form of nuts (kinder surprise and PBJ) and desiccated coconut (coconut pandan). Flavours were on point, and absolutely delicious. The staffs are more than happy to let us try the flavours before deciding what to get, and are helpful and friendly.

Do have plenty of flavours to choose from, they have a half-open kitchen where produce the ice-cream, tried their new special, TimTam. Which taste amazing!!

Overall, pretty good ice cream, the location is on the way home from the city, and you can always find parking. The flavours can be hit and miss, the vanilla and chocolate is amazing, the strawberry cheesecake isn’t too bad, but the mud cake pieces in the caramel and mud cake ice cream taste dry and a little flavourless. I enjoyed Augustus WAY more than Messina or pidapipo. Price is what you expect to pay at a high quality gelato store.

Had the black Forrest and bubble gum. It was delicious and I loved the texture. I think as other reviews have suggested it does tend to be on the sweeter side (black Forrest) but still super yummy. Good vibes. Service was great also. Would love to go back for more 😋

Lovely staff and great gelato! Plenty of flavours, surely something for everyone. They give you really good sized scoops as well unlike some places that give you tiny scoops and you leave feeling ripped off. Definitely get you monies worth 👌

The modern large ice cream store is located at the opposite of the Essendon station. Mango was tasty and tasted fresh strong mango flavour also choc mint had refreshing real mint flavour. The black forest was perfectly taste reproduction of black forest cake. Customer service is great and well recommended.

Located directly across the Essendon train station is this amazing spot for your gelato fix! Recently visited this new store and I really liked the fresh and modern interior and there was natural light throughout the store. I must say it will take you awhile to decide on the flavours as there were so many to choose from. You literally have to walk from one end of the display to the other to see all the range of flavours they have. We finally decided on the watermelon sorbet, the vegan peanut butter jelly, coconut and pandan and the kinder suprise. Really enjoyed the textures of the ice cream as they were so soft and smooth and the peanut butter jelly flavour had nuts on top which gives it the extra crunch. The gelato are made on site at the back of the store behind the glass windows and you know its fresh. They do have a menu for milkshakes and there are cakes on display as well if youre wanting something other than gelato The staff is friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed the gelato. It will be perfect when the weather warms up.
