Probably my favourite gelato spot in Melbourne. It’s randomly placed but always a friendly experience. Gelato comes in various Asian inspired flavours and also caters to vegan eaters.

One of the best Gelato shop in Melbourne with the combination of their unique Indonesian-flavors inspired gelato such air 'Ketan Hitam' (black glutinous rice porridge - Indonesian sweet dessert), 'Tolak Angin' (Traditional Indonesian Herbal Medicine), 'Durian', 'Cendol', and many more. The texture of the gelato is smooth and the flavours are really punchy. Highly recommend to try their unique flavors that you probably won't find in other Ice-Cream/Gelato stores in Melbourne.

Being from the South East Asian region, I was delighted to see a gelato shop selling gelato with flavors like teh tarik (pulled tea), durian (a tropical fruit with a pungent smell but oh so creamy taste) in this little gelato shop. Perfectly placed just in front of a tram stop, this gelato shop greets people from the tram stop. It is small and clean looking with a few chairs for patrons to enjoy their gelato in the shop. The owner of the shop is an Indonesian, which explains the perfect South East Asian flavors. I tried the durian, the banana and also the chocolate. I also had a taste of the teh Tarik. All of the flavors were perfect. It’s not too sweet and the gelato was smooth. It smells wonderful too. The staff serving us were very polite and encouraged us to try the flavors before deciding on what we would like. I myself love my gelato to be smooth and I was happy that I didn’t feel any of the fibrous durian for my durian gelato. I would definitely be back again!

Gelato shop serving unique Asian and South East Asian flavours. We tested most of the flavours (because they all sound so good) and decided to go with the Black Glutinous Rice and houjicha. The BGR is creamy and have the rice chunks in it for added texture. The houjicha have deep strong roasted tea flavour.

Indonesian inspired gelato? You better believe it. I've been meaning to come here for months so I decided to go in the middle of winter. Very unassuming interior they let the gelato do the bedazzling. I went with flavours that are very popular in Indonesia / South East Asia... milo dinosaur and teh tarik (milk tea). Delicious. An amazing little dessert shop, which definitely served up more than I was expecting when I walked in.

So glad we can order for delivery. Had to try this as I'm Indonesian and was so excited to find out they do flavours based on SEA desserts.. The flavours are sooo good. I love ice cream and Beku definitely get a 5 from me based on flavour and texture. Not too sweet, great balance and nice creamy texture, flavours are spot on--some more subtle than others but I enjoyed every single one I ordered. I only tried 3 of their flavours, will hv to try more! If you like ice cream, you should give Beku a try!

In a part of town that has plenty of gelato on offer, this is my favourite place. Its a little hole-in-the -wall place where genuinely original gelato is made. I keep meaning to try their adventurous flavours (like Indonesian Medicine and Durian) but I can't go past their smooth, dark dairy free chocolate and creamy, rich pistachio. Heaven.

Lovely Asian inspired gelato in Brunswick. Have stopped in here a couple times now and always enjoy it. Most recently had the popcorn gelato and it was so delicious. The lady working there also said they bring out new flavours each month so can't wait to go back and try the next lot during summer!

I had friends introduce me to this place on the weekend and it was awesome! They have a limited selection of gelato, but it was beautiful. The venue is simple, but it's not designed for hanging out in. You get your gelato and move on. That means it doesn't get necessarily crowded and you don't have to deal with people's kids running around. Just simple and awesome. I will be back often!
