Fantastic - without a doubt, the BEST gelato in Australia... so many amazing flavours. So inexpensive! Staff are fantastic, too - always welcoming.

One of the few traditional gelato places around with so many vegan flavours. But that's not the only perk - all the vegan options are refined sugar free (sweetened with fructose) AND the serves are massive. For just $7, you can get a large "single scoop" which includes up to three flavours. Pistachio, bacio and cookie is a great combo.

The gelato is one of the yummiest I have tasted. They have a huge range of flavors and the service is always polite and friendly. This is one of the gelato shops which will always have customers in winter. I enjoyed their chocolate flavor, and the cone is always a hit with the children. There is an outdoor seating which is a nice touch and they even have a bin which is shaped like an ice cream cone. I will always bring visiting friends and families to this gelato shop for a quick visit.

A Very knowledgeable staff member helped me tonight- it's very rare to find an ice cream place where I have a range of flavours to enjoy. The soy flavours that I had tonight were creamy and delicious. Others in my group ordered the normal ice cream flavours and found these delicious. On a hot summers day, we were desperate for something to cool us down after 4 hours exploring the Carlton area. We googled "gelato" and chose this place as we were nearby and we were not disappointed. We chose mango with green tea and passion fruit and it was simply delicious and so, so refreshing. I swear this place has been open since the dawn of time. There are a lot of flavours. I got a small which is 3 flavours for $6. Great dairy free options and honestly I couldn't really tell the difference. Sure it's not 'hip or trendy' but it sure will satisfy. If you can't find a flavour that you'll enjoy then stay home. An institution that must be protected at all costs. I hope this place stays open forever.

This really good icecream. It contains egg. The flavours are rich and real. The staff are very co-operative and knowledgeable and patient too. The quantity is generous and makes one feel that they have got value for their money. On the downside, they only take cash; the queues can be quite long on weekends in the evenings.

Really good gelato. Soooo many flavours that it's hard to choose. Luckily their small size allows you to choose 3 flavours. The Jamaican chocolate, choc orange and tiramisu and amazing. Definitely check it out. Worth it.

Ice cream is great. No doubt about, tastes good looks good smells good. You're wondering why I gave only 3 stars? Cuz one of the staff who served me was being really rude and unhelpful. Almost zero eye contact and happiness from her. It's my first time patronising the store so I had no idea how all the flavours tasted. On my third taste, she told me that's the last one I could try! Absolutely ridiculous! 10/10 would not go again unless I could try all the flavours without being treated like an idiot. And please, a smile would be nice too.

Gelato is pretty decent and the prices aren't too crazy, but they only take cash. It's weird to see a place these days that don't have a non-cash payment option (Lots of people don't carry cash anymore, come on, that's a stupid business move) but overall it's fine.

Ice cream to dream about. I come here every visit to Australia. Real fruit, great taste and fast service - but crowds at peak times. Looove the ice cream there. They have a really large range of flavours. Three types of ice cream 1) Gelato, 2) cream based ice cream, 3) soya milk non dairy ice cream. Loooove the Gelato, especially Raspberry.

Pros: Very consistent Gelati , has loads of flavours to try from Sweet to savoury , Fruit flavours all the way through to Chocolate ones. Cons: Can get busy and is definitely understaffed in these peak periods. Hve to push your way to the front. Not as good as it was in the Late 90s, and early 2000s.
