You will find Fritz Gelato at the entry of the food court in the South Melbourne Market. Italian style coffee, doughnuts and gelato - perfect trio. Everyone's favourite flavour can be found here, they have 31 to be exact, but if your flavour isn't there they encourage you to send them a message, and they will create it! They have ice cream and low-fat organic gelato to choose from. The only decisions needed is one, two or three scoops? Cone or a cup? Or to be even bolder, take some home in a tub? No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives are added. Over 70 of their flavours have won awards in Victoria or Australian competitions. Other locations - Prahran Market and Richmond. If you can't get to their venues, they deliver too! Recommendation - Two scoops consisting of sour cherry with pomegranate and zesty lemon [which won an award!] - I wish the scoops were larger! Always popular no matter the time of year - drop in for a coffee and doughnut or on a hot day a gelato - you won't be disappointed!

Located within the busy South Melbourne Market food court, this gelato place is easy to spot as it always have a queue, especially during the hot summer day. They serve decent portion of gelato and many flavors to choose from. They also serve coffee, but we always come for vanilla gelato.
