Wow!!! This Gelato is sensational - taking me right back to my travels in Italy! The mulberry and roasted strawberry flavours were divine and I can't wait to explore more flavours. Love the fact that the owner has attended Gelato University in Italy and continues to innovate on the flavour range.

Hands down the best gelato I've had outside of Italy. This girl knows her stuff. Divine regular flavours and a rotation of seasonal weekly special flavours that are worth putting on your running shoes for. An absolute must if you're anywhere nearby and worth making a special trip for if you're not.

This suburban side street gelato bar would have to be one of the best frozen dessert upstarts. From the variety of milk and non-dairy choices to the option of a canine friendly option Luna Blu has you covered. The use of locally sourced ingredients lends itself to bold options that reveal themselves in flavours like "Local Honey and Macadamia" or Strawberry and Basil.

My favourite is their dark chocolate sorbet, which they have modified a bit quite recently (even better now!). I love how they use fresh fruit and good quality ingredients. There is another ice cream shop in the neighbourhood but I never go there anymore. Texture and flavours for everything I've had from there are on point.

Best gelato I've found in Melbourne in 20yrs. Enjoyed the pistachio and hazelnut and they both tasted richly of the actual nuts (not just colouring and flavouring). In an ideal world I'd prefer a little less sugar/sweetness... But wow, I actually felt like I was in Italy and I've been going there for more than half a century. Will definitely be coming back!

Been here twice now, bit of a drive from me but if I'm in the area on a warm day its worth it. Highly rate the lemon and the pistachio flavours! Also really liked the mint and the mango sorbet. Always go the waffle cone. The consistant lines out the front speak for themselves, nobody waits for a sh*t dessert do they?

I have a feeling all previous reviews are from friends. All of them from the people with no other reviews. Between 3 of us who bought the icecream we agreed 3.5 would be the fair rating for the taste and selection. And we love ice cream and consider ourselves experts in it. I will not be a returning customer, unfortunately.

Visited Luna Blu on the way home from a dining experience out, it was close to their end of day however the young attendant who greeted and served us Friday night was radiant and still full of energy. They have a good variety of gourmet gelato flavors on offer and they were delicious. High quality gelato and great customer service, what more could you ask for.
