Look, I've had a lot of ice cream in my life and let me tell you... this is one of the best places I've ever had ice cream! Perfect consistency, flavour and sweetness! The interior design is also cute with a disco ball that rotates and makes the walls sparkle!

On hot day what better time to grab some gelato so headed to @MiinotGelato. I got the strawberry cheesecake that had a nice smooth flavour much like the dessert itself, a very good representation. But the one that did it for me was Venus, a lime, strawberry and coconut summer concoction which was amazing. I have been coming to Miinot since they opened and I’ve never been disappointed. They are my go-to ice cream place. I always check their Facebook and Instagram to see what flavours are available for the day in case some of my favourites are there, but honestly, any flavour will be a 10/10.

You know something is special when at 4pm on a Sunday in a suburban street there’s a line up for gelato that captures the attention of people driving by. I really liked the the crunchy chocolate flavours. If you’re tall watch your head on the entrance door. Park your car down the side streets.

Definitely the best ice-cream in the area. Always new choices and peak times like Sunday afternoons it's busy. The scoops are large, their pricing (5.50 for 1 scoop, 6.50 for two!!), well it's definitely going to be two scoops. And they let you taste two flavours before buying. We've been many times...

What a strange place for a Gelato shop, I guess it beats out the competition by being the only one in the neighbourhood. The backdrop being this minor corner on this stressfully hectic road, with tires and engines gunned non-stop. The flavours offered are sufficient, but with no real jaw droppers and the clerk inside seemed like he could do with a sidekick for some uplifting banter.

I'm a regular there - usually with my little boy - because the ice cream is excellent. However, I was surprised today to be refused to sample more than two flavours for my take-home tub. I don't really have anything original to add here - it's just simply some of the best gelato you will ever have. We stopped to pick some up for a family gathering, and some of the family even went back to buy more to take home. It's that good. The only negative thing I could possibly think of saying is that as they change their flavours so often, you might fall in love with a flavour one day, only to have your heart crushed the next day when it disappears. Plus the constant flavour-changing could lead to a serious gelato addiction!

Great ice cream. Just a shame they can't list the flavours somewhere (anywhere) so you know the range by the time you get to the front of the line and can finally see the labels over the heads of the many waiting kids. The staff must also get sick of answering the same questions ("What's in the [non-descriptive flavour name] flavour ice cream?") with every customer. But hey, I don't have a popular ice cream shop, I'm just some schmoe wondering aloud on the internet about managerial decisions that clearly aren't that damaging to the brand. The flavours are great because real ingredients are used. No fake tasting extracts or essences here! My favourite so far has been the feijoa 💖 Hopefully more caramel/chocolate based vegan flavours can become part of the rotation 😉

Fantastic artisan gelato strategically located in a dumpy little set of strip shops in Pascoe Vale South. The owners love their craft and make their iced treats fresh each day. When they run out, they run out, so if you get there late, there might only be one or two flavours left. The shop is tiny, and on warm days there will always be a line running out the door. They change their flavours regularly, which is good. See whether they have the pavlova flavour when you go there; it's delicious. This is a small business that really does deserve to survive and thrive, so get to it. Treat yourselves to a pizza and Shop 225 up the road, and the follow up with dessert at the excellent Miinot. Their gelato is as good as anything you can get anywhere else in Melbourne.

Best go in prepared: check their Instagram for daily flavours or risk the ire of the British guy/shop owner (he's almost always grumpy!) as you gawp and um and ah over the beautiful selection. Don't let that put you off: the gelato more than makes up for it, with superb classics, fun & inventive wildcards, even vegan flavours a dairy lover would choose. We're very lucky to have Miinot in the neighbourhood!

Great Ice cream but no parking permitted on Melville Rd. Unless within walking distance you may be challenged for parking .... I turned right into Woodlands Ave just after the ice cream shop after 7pm & was fined $198. Ridiculous to say the least. It will probably be my 1st and last time to Miinot Gelato.

Probably the best thing to come out of Pascoe Vale in a very long time! What a hidden gem. Totally worth the cheat day dessert. Tried out a bunch before buying and settled on some macadamia one and can't remember the other, but damn they were good! Small store, so only take away for those going to visit. Staff were pretty nice. Will check back as often as I can to try other flavors!
