The best icecream makers ever..... We only go to Tooradin for the icecream, even our furry baby loves her 1 scoop vanilla cone which she licks it like a human and even eats the cone. You can't miss it people! As soon as you enter Tooradin, cross the bridge it's on your Right. Plenty of seating and plenty of yummy flavours to choose from.......

Our tour bus stopped across the street on the way to Phillip Island on March 12. I had been craving ice cream and Tooradin Ice Cream sign called to me. The woman behind the counter was very friendly. We got a mint chocolate chip that was a different kind of mint than we are used to in Canada, but it was really good. We also got a raspberry & black liquorice combo because I had never come across this option before. It was also pretty fantastic. If you are crossing from the park side, walk down about 200m to cross at the lights.

Stopped at Tooradin for a break on a hot Sunday afternoon. The icecream shop was busy with quite a long queue to be served. 40 flavours to choose from from different manufacturers. Norgen Vas and Everest. Service was quite quick, even with the queues, and we were given generous serves of Everest Gelatis. Unfortunately their freezers are not holding the ice creams at a low enough temperature, I'm guessing around -10C°. -15°C as our Gelatis were way too soft. We had Blood Orange and Lemon and they were both very refreshing, if a bit too aoft. There is a grassy area outside and some tables to enjoy the ice confections or dangle your feet over the edge of the walkway and watch the water and Birdlife.

Stopped in a few weeks ago with the family, the weather was great, so this shop was open and quite busy! Even though the line was quite long, it moved quite fast, the staff are friendly and efficient. With it being so busy, I did feel a little rushed in making a decision, which was tough, because there are so many flavours to choose from, but you can't see them until your next in line... So I suppose one suggestion might be to list the flavours on the wall somewhere that everyone can see, so you can start deciding while you're waiting in line. But the ice cream is amazing and worth the wait - I made the right choice!!

If you're on your way home from Phillip Island (or somewhere else in Gippsland way), drop in to this gem of a place for a great end to your adventures. Doesn't look like much but the ice-creams are superb and servings generous. Walk along the Tooradin bridge and let the ice cream cover your hand and drip to the ground with sadness.
