Loved the chocolate and cookies ‘n cream ice-cream cake ordered fir my husband’s lockdown birthday! Thank you to Brett for the gorgeous presentation topped with violet crumble and crushed Oreos! Friendly service and magnificent ice-creams always! Thankful to have such a great small business in our area. Took a photo after we couldn’t wait to tuck in!

Best ice cream we have ever had. Walked past and was closed, and wanted ice cream so bad. Saw a man walking out and locked door and he heard me say oh wish I had ice cream. He walked from across the road and opened up the shop to make us ice cream and was the best I’ve ever had. What an experience. Try it for your self

I have NEVER experienced anyone being rude or pushy about the check in. It is a legal requirement to check in and staff do the right thing by reminding people. Brett for example is always super polite about it as are others along Rathdowne St. We should be openly supporting, even championing staff who do the right thing. They are after all on the retail frontline of protecting the health of the community. Well done to the workers at Yumbos for looking out for my health.

Yumbos is my go to for ice cream birthday cakes. They went above and beyond to help us out during a 14 day home quarantine. Brett delivered our cake so we could still celebrate a birthday at home. Kids were super happy! Thank you, much appreciated!

The server (I believe to be the owner) is a great character and made it fun to get some ice cream on a hot afternoon. Ice cream is flavorsome without the excessive sugary taste I’ve found purchasing from other speciality ice creameries. **Delayed post from early March!

I've been coming here for a while. Yummy ice cream and wonderful thick shakes. My only problem is when I went there the other day the ice cream man wasn't wearing a mask or gloves, which is illegal because of the pandemic. We came back the next day to see the same thing. Hope to come back after the pandemic ends.

Yumbos provided the most delicious lemon and strawberry gelati for our Spring Fair at Collingwood College .Although the day was overcast and a little on the chilly side we sold out. Proof of a quality product !

Always an epic selection of ice creams and a rotating selection of flavours that can be made into a milkshake or thickshake and the pricing is super reasonable. Stoked to have this place in the village.
