Warning: BRING YOUR APPETITE! So full 🥴 Food is super tasty and authentic. Favourite dish has to be the pizza or the housemade beetroot pasta with pork sausage 😍❤ A great mix of flavours washed down with a nice cold Italian brew and the company of my lovely special lady.

At $24 for a margherita pizza, it would want to be trading blows with the best pizzeria's in Australia (400 Gradi etc.) and it just isn't. The pizza I had was lovely along the outer third but a weird mix of chewy and soggy in the middle. For less than half the price (on the right night) you can get similar quality pizza at a range of venues in the CBD. Ignoring the food quality, it's actually a pretty cool place for a date decor/venue wise so not a bad place to check out if you're within walking distance but I'd definetly feel ripped off if I had gone out of my way to come here. On a personal note; if you're after good quality pizza and you fancy a drive then I think Pizzateca in McLaren Vale is just about better in every way (if it's a nice sunny day), however, it's a lot further away from the CBD.

Pizza is variable; the dough is good, but the way it is topped isn’t perfectly reliable. (No one wants a soggy margherita.) Service can be inattentive. Avoid outside seating in winter. The competition has improved over the years Etica has been around; they don’t stand out as they once did.

Surprised at the crowd...as the food was average...and no..they are not italian like pizzas..but why do they need to be? Trying hard to be different food wise but the result for us on the night was a very odd tasting pizza. One...the fungi one was decent.

This restaurant is the best Italian in Adelaide. Incredible food. Amazing service. Beautiful place. The pizza is freshly made in a pizza oven. The antipasto and pasta dishes are delicious as well. The food is made with such care and love by incredibly talented chefs. The menu changes seasonally and new dishes are always exciting and super tasty. They have wonderful options for everyone- heaps of delicious vegetarian and vegan food. Wonderful drinks and wines and deserts too ! I love it here so much, would highly recommend to anyone! An amazing experience! We came with a small group and were treated like we were family, just incredible these days to find such genuine hospitality - thank you! The pizza had a fabulous base with perfect crust and generous topping (buffalo mozzarella at that!). The wine was also produced by Etica and was a perfect match to our meal. I'm someone who has lived in Italy and can say the pizza was authentic (and personally found it delicious). The service was thoughtful, helpful and friendly, always topping up our waters. Everyone who complains about the cow clearly has missed the point or don't like their little bubbles being popped (FYI the cow isn't even at this address, it's at the other one). Highly recommended.

Love this place! Excellent food and such a cool little venue! Great for date nights and small groups. We have also been through just for drinks and small plates if you're not looking for dinner. Live jazz on Thursdays is a nice touch. It can get a little loud inside so it will get a bit difficult for those hard of hearing.

Fantastic! Little gem tucked away on Gillies street in the city. Love the entire concept of this restaurant. Ethical local food. Menu is traditional Italian. Service is great - very friendly and warm. Table service was exceptional. Prices are good. Also has a good selection of wines. Thank you Etica.

I love this place. The staff are so warm and welcoming, makes us feel right at home. Insane Italian food, best I have had in Adelaide. When I eat here, I have piece of mind knowing all ingredients sourced sustainably and ethically.

Etica is a homely, small Pizzeria/Restaurant poking out of the side of Gilles St, but not as visible as some other restaurants due to some interesting fence choices (a big rusty looking metal gate topped with some blue acrylic). Much like the entrance way, the rest of the store is quirky and pokey but in a charming way. Inside, the first thing you see is the large woodfire pizza oven right next to the entrance of the building, creating a very cozy smallish dining area. My Dad and I sat at a large bench which was looking towards the kitchen where appetizers are prepared. The pizza I had (a basic salami Italian pizza) was amazing, the base perfect and sauce classic fresh tomato, which I half expected for the price. Only complaint being the aesthetic and size of the place, which some will love and some will hate, and the price, it was slightly above other high quality pizza restaurants.

food was good, waiter was super weird and very rude. Wouldn't give us herb bread even though thats what we wanted. Gave some people sparkling water and not others. Strange. Music was strange - just a constant single tone that made it feel like an asylum. Maybe it was a skeleton crew with COVID, but overall a pretty average experience saved only by the delicious food.

Love this fabulous Restaurant. Wood oven in the restaurant and you can watch the whole process. It’s like a ballet. Their credentials are displayed there. They have been trained in Naples, Italy. Pasta and salads, mozzarella all above average. Wine list impeccable.

Etica is to die for! The food was amazing (we had home-made pasta and pizza), high quality ingredients and good serving size. The service was outstanding! We were looked after from beginning to end, with very friendly and casual yet profesional staff! What we liked the most was the feeling that we were having dinner at someone’s kitchen! There’s a few details that make you feel right at home in a cosy and warm environment. You can tell there’s a lot of passion put into this project! Thank you Federico and all the staff for a wonderful dinner! We look forward to trying the new restaurant!
