Comments of Boroughs of New York Woodfired Pizza
M. I.
Ordered delivery after driving past & seeing a wood fire oven inside the restaurant.
The driver called on his way & again when he arrived at our hotel. The pizzas were delivered inside the time they suggested & nice & hot. Great Service! Delicious Pizza! So glad we ordered here instead of the closer local cheap conveyer oven pizza!!!!

Staff were awesome, pizza was delicious!
Very good crunchy thin base held perfectly despite the huge slices and generous toppings. Would definitely eat here again.

Being new to Newstead, my partner and I have been searching for a new local pizza joint - and Boroughs has definitely secured that spot.
The Eggs Benedict calzone blew my mind, it may be the best restaurant dish I've ever consumed - everything was perfect.
We also had two " massive slices " which are 1/4th of an 18 inch pizza.
We tried the Rockefeller and the Downtown BBQ Chicken - both absolutely delicious.
This is definitely the best dough I've ever tasted, they really care about the details. The ham in the calzone is also the most incredible ham I have ever consumed.
11/10, great service, great fit out and just a bloody good pizza joint.

It’s my first time trying this restaurant, I just got a takeaway coffee.
The best coffee I have had in ages the roasted coffee “adore coffee roaster” it’s so nice fresh and strong the milk was creamy but heavy body and the services was fantastic!

Amazing pizza made with wood fire, the 18 inch pizza can feed 4 people. Very good for sharing! You can choose two flavours for the 18 inch. Pricing is very acceptable for the quality.

They also have thier own lager that's pretty good..

Went there last with my family and must say, best pizza I've had in a long time. You can tell the pizza was cooked with love 🤣. Also service 5 star as well. If you're in need of good pizza, I highly recommend this establishment.

This place is really solid. It's the closest thing to authentic New York pizza I have found in Brisbane, and they offer huge pizzas at an acceptable price. They don't offer garlic bread, but I think putting garlic knots on the menu would be an easy way to make this place top-notch authentic. I would come in way more often if they were open for lunch on the weekends, but hours are very limited so I only get there once every couple of months.

The best pizza I’ve had in Brisbane. Really thin crust with just right amount of toppings. And the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Thanks BONY. We miss you in Carindale!

Nice place to dine, very friendly staff and helpfull for swaping the french fries for the chilli meat fries during ordering the buffalo rib steak. Next time I will order pizza!

Sometimes the biggest is the best, and Boroughs of New York (or BONY as the local pizza community call it) are large and in charge when it comes to pizza in Brisbane.
Whatever style of pizza you get, get an 18" family size. Go half-and-half toppings with a fellow pizza aficionado for extra variety. Watch the chef spin the dough, generously sprinkle some quality toppings, and lovingly place your new favourite pizza into a woodfired oven.
I've visited their Fortitude Valley location more times than I'd willingly admit online. I went there yesterday and I'll be back sooner than you might think.

Without doubt my fave pizza place in Brisbane. Not Neapolitan style which is what I love the best. If you love the American style pizza then this is your place.Pepperoni is the reeeal deal, but simple cheese is my favourite ... there hasn’t been a pizza that hasn’t been delicious when we have gone to Boroughs
Ask it for extra crisp and you will never go back to dominos ... 11/10

The red haired waiter who served us last night was second to none. Very charming and made us feel welcome. Really made the experience for us. The pizza is also fantastic!

Lovely service and vegan pizza was delicious

New York pizza? Not sure about that but it's interesting. Three grown lads and an eighteen inch liberty pizza. You'd think it would be all over on the lads' side, but not so. Like the decor.
The lads are giving me grief for the review length. But it must be said.
The pizza was good enough. It was ample. Thin crust.
Service was good. Timely. I came I sat.i got served I ten minutes flat.
Can watch the pizza get made, cooked, and delivered to your table. Love the transparency.
Right on the main drag. The constant flow of nightlife is entertaining.
I'd come back here again. So would the other lads.

Had a great meal, the pizza was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. I particularly liked how they came out with the pizza pans to show us the sizes. The cocktail selection is pretty impressive. Would go again

I am from Manhattan. This means I am stupidly pretentious about my pizza. The owner is from Staten Island. He got it right. Best pizza in Australia. Crust is thin, and never doughy. Sauce is good, and toppings are good. There is lots of vegetarian, and vegan options. If you REALLY want better pizza, you gotta leave this country.

Ok so there are hundreds of good pizza places, but for my friends birthday tonight their service was exceptional! Food was quick, drinks were quick, they were attentive, didn't charge us for cake plates or cutlery. Very affordable party with cocktails. Service was brilliant. Well deserved stars.

Look, it's like any other middle of the road pizza restaurant. The pizza is the star - it's easily better than anything else on the menu. That said, I won't promise that it's the best pizza you've ever eaten. It probably isn't.
Beer and wine list is adequate but not exciting (although they had cider on tap which was great on a humid evening).
For the price it's a good honest place. You've had cheaper pizza and it wasn't this good. You've had better pizza but it wasn't this cheap.

We left the Osborne Hotel (great pub) and saw this great looking Pizza place across the other side of Ann Street.
Let's have Pizza
The six of us arrived sat down at these rustic tables (period style)
The place has a a lot of hard surfaces so it is noisy and I missed contributing to what pizza to eat and what size.
The big one one is the biggest I have ever seen short of by the metre in Antico Italy.
We got served three enormous pizza carefully negotiated onto the table, yes they are that big.
We all thought OMG we are never going to eat all that and we hadn't even eaten tasted them at that point.
Well we each worked our way thru a piece of each of the three pizza and as different as they each were they were really tasty.
I am not a big one for volume (nor our friends) but in this instance we managed to work our way there almost all of it, because it all tasted so good.
So will we go back
ABSOLUTELY and we are looking forward to it.
We will probably only order 2 pizza next time😉

Dined in at the restaurant, good selection of pizzas, thin crust and reasonable amount of topping. Two sizes of pizzas with one huge 2-4 person version and then a standard 18" for one. Tasty messy spicy chicken wings with serving size of 4/5 wings depending on the size of the wings. Service was a little rough around the edges, and 2nd order of drinks was forgotten. Definitely a popular venue, with a steady flow of customers on a Saturday night.

This is one of your well above average pizza experiences - with a few notable extras. Their pizza dough is quite spectacular - crispy and light when cooked, which adds to the overall flavour of the meals. I do also like that you can get a "massive slice" as opposed to a whole pizza - this was definitely a nice New Yorker touch.
The calzones are also a standout - you do get bang for your buck!
However, it is a little bit on the more expensive side for most pizza joints. On the flip side, they serve up better pizzas than most pizza joints!

Picked by random google search and NOT disappointed. Hands down one of the best pizzas I have ever had, and such value. If you like authentic wood oven pizza, simple, quality ingredients and a crust so perfect I've only had better in Italy, this is the place for you.

I have wanted to visit this place for awhile especially since it appeared on TV. I think the expectations were too high. The service was great with the staff very attentive. The pizza was okay. Lacking a little flavour. I tried two different pizzas with the one with anchovies definitely improving the taste. Not all pizza was offered by the slice so I couldn't order my preference without ordering a whole pizza. I've been there now and I won't go out of my way to go there again. There are better pizza places around.

Ewten here a few times now, and the pizza is honestly the best I've had in Brisbane. Not only flavour, toppings & selection but the SIZE! Yes it can be a little pricey for an 18" pizza but I think it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!
S. P.
Thank you for the best pizza experience I ever had. I eat a lot of Pizza Hut and Crust and after my friend took me here, I'm hooked. I was amazed at the size of the pizza. Great Job guys. The staff were so amazing and thank you for opening a proper N.Y. Pizza.

Boroughs of NY always look after us on our bitcoin pizza 🍕 day party. Great pizzas and awesome staff!
J. K.
We are from the US and nothing has come close to boroughs in terms of quality and taste in Brisbane. We love this place! My only wish would be slightly larger salads. But pie wise this place is top notch and can’t be beat.
M. N.
If you want new-york style pizza come here. Don't go to any of those rubbish pizza places that take a pre-cooked slice out of a display case and heat it up for you. This place is amazing. One mega slice is all you need, skinny people could probably split one.
A. M.
Always happy with this place. My favourite pizza shop in Brisbane. The staff are great food is good and if you want value for money get the 18 inch pizza.

Arrived at 11am when the store opened. I let the staff know it was my first time and he walked over and showed me the menu and how it worked/whats available. I ordered a Queen Margarita Pizza in 10", the service was expremely fast and the food was amazing! Would recommend to anyone!
