Never a bad experience with Pizza Capers! They’ve been our go-to pizza place since we moved to the area and are always so personable, efficient and careful with our food. Props to the staff for working on a public holiday too!! Thank you :)

I would have taken a photo but we ate it all!!! We drove from Newcastle on a road trip and stayed at Sutton overnight. We were exhausted and ordered Pizza Capers. They delivered to the caravan park we were staying at. You can track your order and the food arrived hot. I don’t like pizza so I can only share that my husband said it was the best pizza he’s had in a very long time. I had the smokey bbq chicken wings and the rocket & parmasan salad. It didn’t disappoint - handy hint though - pack extra napkins! You’ll need them!! 😋

Best pizza chain in Australia. Pizzas are amazing quality made quickly using fresh ingredients. A little pricey unless bought in a deal, discount code and/or using free pizza voucher. ... but worth it. Staff are friendly and have great customer care skills. Karaage Chicken pizza is definitely my favourite. The new app is fantastic also. User friendly it makes changes to the pizza simple and easy. Check out the Facebook pages to win free pizza. I have already personally been lucky enough to win a few myself. 110% recommended you give them a go.

I'm not sure what's dumber. Me, writing about how a pizza shop sells bad pasta, or the pizza shop selling terrible pasta. To temper my harsh words, I'll start with the good. Pizza Capers makes a tasty pizza. Dollar or two more expensive than the usual chains, but that difference is genuinely reflected in quality. Without visiting a 'real' pizza place, Pizza Capers is pretty much the best. Pasta dishes are the ignored middle child of the pizza business. Every pizza shop loves to flaunt it on their menu, but it's absolutely just an unwanted mistake made between Pizza and Desserts. Raw honesty incoming. I was so shocked at the pasta dishes, that I ordered a second time a week later, purely for academic purposes. I HAD to know if the first time was just a fluke, or maybe a sad accident. And boy., the second order was sad, but it was no accident. Grade 9 science teaches us to repeat our experiments thrice, for a fair sample size. I wanted to make my teacher proud, but I wasn't sure I could morally justify buying a third order. Everyone on earth has an implicit idea of pasta- noodles coated in sauce. Pizza Capers is the exception that proves the rule. In what could ONLY POSSIBLY BE a post-modern art piece, they serve a literal fist-size clump of cheese amidst a pile of plain macaroni. Perhaps the dish was created to be challenging. Perhaps picking out pieces of macaroni while avoiding the unmelted, massive blob of cheese, was meant to be a 'unique culinary experience'. But on the scale of 'food-challenges', this pasta zooms right past oysters and sits comfortably beside wet sand. Don't think the 'low price makes up for it'. I bought the cheapest option on the menu, and still ended up feeling like the chump who bought stock in Enron a week before the collapse. Wasted money. I understand that in the age of the internet, 3 stars is a brutally low rating, but dishes like this pasta deserve to be bullied until they are improved, or dropped from the menu. Overall, Pizza Capers is a solid store. Great staff, good pizza. If you avoid the pasta like the plague, you'll have a good experience.

Best pizza I've had in years. The base was firm despite holding a lot of ingredients (at most places it goes floppy and the toppings fall off) but it wasn't overcooked, and the pizzas were really different to most places, but really tasty.

Great delivery during these COVID lockdown times. The wait time was given at 45 mins but went to check my door at 30mins after order. Pizza was there on my doormat on a cold winter's night. I remember when pizza capers had almost gourmet pizza, but my BBQ one didn't taste that great. The sauce was too sweet, the mince was falling off the pizza. A passable standard for a takeaway pizza chain but not much better than the Coles $5 pizza that you can jhuzh up with extra cheese. I'll have the rest for breakfast, though. Here is my rave review from 2014:"My favourite pizza place in Gungahlin. Gungahlin might not be the pinnacle of fine dining but it's Pizza Central! There's Dominos, Pizza Hut, Crust, Zaitoon and you can get pizza at italian places like Da Nunzio or Black Olive as well. Not sure if Eagle Boys is still operating.Which is why after eating at all these pizza places, I must say Pizza Capers is my absolute all time favourite. Gourmet pizza might sound like a bit of an oxymoron, but if you want gourmet, you don't get pizza,do you? The menu at Pizza Capers is really exciting and I love the flavours. They have a gluten free range. They also have a ice cream and gelato shop, sorry shoppe. I don't buy ice cream here, woolworths is just across the road, after all. There's a southern BBQ deal at the moment which seems pretty good. The staff at the gungahlin branch are really really friendly, which is always a plus!" Yeah, nah. Standards are slipping.

Good pizza! We went with the more budget range feta pizza but was pleasantly surprised. Tastes great. Happy to go back. (Staff was really friendly too)

Ordered a meal deal with Reef and Beef pizza, a side of seasoned fries and apple pie poppers. Yummy. Would thoroughly recommend. Chose the same pizza I ordered a year ago to celebrate moving into my home and welcome to Canberra. I think this will be an annual event but I won’t be able to wait a whole year before the next order.

Always good pizza, recommend the garlic Calzone too. We used to go to the usual bigger franchise for pizza but we have made the switch to Pizza Capers. Better quality food for similar or better price. Delivery fee is a bit steep though.

Bored with the usual pizza's nearby, I took the 20 minute drive from Campbell to Gungahlin to give Pizza Capers a try - an internet recommendation. Very glad I did, but a bit annoyed that our new pizza place is a 40 minute round trip. Really, really good pizzas - lots of topping - a real meal.

Gourmet toppings are best This place has tried to raise the bar and do gourmet pizzas of which we have had a few know and they are certainly a cut above the average pizza offering in town. They are take away only as there is only a couple of waiting chairs otherwise. Not a problem as long as you are looking for takeaway. Definitely one i would return to again.

I usually love this place. Delicious food, great service and prompt delivery. Except tonight.... Tried to place a home-delivery order and the girl who answered the phone clearly had limited experience and manners. Before I even placed an order, she asked me what card I would be using. I responded "cash" and she asked me if I would go to the store to pick it up. It certainly defeats the purpose of specifically requesting "home delivery" in my opening sentence... After a frustrating conversation and being told to "wait" several times, she passed me onto someone else, who asked me about what I had ordered (I hadn't even managed to place an order at that stage). Extremely disappointing level of service when I am used to such superb service. I decided my money would be better spent elsewhere this evening. Come on, Pizza Capers Gungahlin, you are much better than this. Reply: Thank you for responding to my review. I would like to add that I have ordered twice since posting my review. The first time was as excellent as I am accustomed to. The second time, the actual placing of the order was still a little frustrating. I am convinced it was the same girl as per my review, however, her service skills had improved. Still a little way to go, though. But a much better experience. Thank you. :)

I ordered the pizza at 8.25pm and it was here around 8.45 - super fast service! This is the second time this has happened. Last time it was delivered within 20 odd minutes. We tried the Arancini Moussaka this time with chilli flakes on a thin crust - super yummy! Loved it.

What a nifty little find this place was! You wouldn’t expect a small little pizza place opposite a Doninos and Pizza Hut to be doing so well. Food was great and very well priced. The size of the pizza and quality of the ingredients is much better too than the other “big two”. Very pleased. Will be back when I return to the ACT.
