Went here with a small group of friends and had a wonderful time. The pizza's were amazing and there were amazing vegetarian options as well (not just one or two token pizza's, but whole section!). The waitress was very friendly and offered advice regarding our food and what we might like to order. Food and desert was amazing, couldn't recommend more. Note that one pizza is about $25, wood fired and a very decent amount for a main meal for 1, or shared.

Very rare that you find a place where the atmosphere is great, staff are great and the food is amazing at an affordable price. Best Pizza I have ever had and overall amazing place to eat. The owner clearly has a passion not only for the product he serves but the overall experience. Boss Pizzeria is a must got to.

Came here for a dinner and it was very impressive. The pizza base is one of the most important aspect to me and Boss nails it. It's thin, crispy and has the right amount of bite to it. The best part is that it didn't get soggy with all the toppings 👌. Toppings were fresh and plentiful and I noticed they cater for vegans as well. Do try the nutella calzone, it is amazing 🤤. The owners are also amazing people, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

This is easily one of the best pizza places in Melbourne! The pizzas were very delicious, the Margherita definitely takes the top spot for us. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Big thank you to the whole team for their amazing service and pizza! We will be highly recommending this restaurant to all friends and family! They went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, it was well worth the drive from Lilydale.

BOSS PIZZA = BEST PIZZA. We have been coming here every week for years. Consistently phenomenal pizza. Lovely staff who always provide a fabulous, friendly service. A quiet and cosy place, great for freezing winter nights as well as warm summer ones. Takeaway is also delicious. One night we were late to pickup as it was hard to find a park and the owner offered to make us a fresh one because the other had gone cold. Bloody legends! They genuinely care about making beautiful pizza and keeping up the extremely high quality.

Man, Boss Pizza is THE best! The pizza base is so tasty on its own.. It's one of those places where the margherita is up there with all the other tasty toppings. Boss always get it right. Always delicous. Been eating here for years and every time the pizza's are on point. Used to live locally but after moving still make the drive and love to grab a takeaway. Not to mention, those running Boss are so friendly and clearly care about delivering top notch pizza. So glad you're still about Boss.

We highly recommend the Pancetta Picante it is delicious!!! Something incredibly unique that you can't get anywhere. The staff and chefs are incredibly professional, kind and considerate often speaking to eacother with manners and kindness. There's such a good vibe here and everyone is so nice!!!

Possibly the best pizza in Melbourne and if not, Camberwell/Kew/Hawthorn area. The only room for improvement that I can think of is to increase the indoor dining space but I guess getting through Covid and the ever stringent ATO/Fairwork might have a negative influence on the remaining budget for any small business to expand.

Love the authentic Italian thin-crusted pizzas. The variety and quality of cheese on the pizzas is a real feature here. The owners and their staff are always friendly, and clearly passionate about pizza! Cozy atmosphere, wide menu to choose from, and the entrees are also a highlight! Best pizzas in Camberwell!

Best suburban pizza in the 7km radius. Forget about it, I say patata... are some of the highlights. Friendly service, loads of Italian family pre-lockdown. Dough is pretty decent (not too flimsy/watery, not too gluteney).

Went tonight for the first time ever and it really is a sensational pizza. Perfect amount of chew to the base, quality tomatoes and mozzarella. Staff were incredibly hospitable without being over the top. Genuinely nice people and great hosts. This is a real pizza fans pizzeria.

The BEST pizza in Melbourne for quality and service. We are local and have several quality pizzerias nearby but BOSS is our favourite by far. Parking is limited, especially on a Friday night and watch out for the Parking Inspectors lurking.

This little gem is just what you need if you're craving some good quality wood-fire pizza. The dough is to die for and the toppings are fresh and delicious. They don't muck about. Having been many times it is consistently brilliant with friendly staff to boot. As a local, I couldn't ask for more. Easily one of the best i've ever had in Melbourne. Give The Boss, Magherita and Napoletana a crack!

There's a pink neon sign on the wall saying "Eat Like A Boss", and I don't doubt it one bit after my meal here. The food kept on coming and what an amazing feast it was. We started off with entrees consisting of mixed olives, baked ricotta, involtini and mozzarella in carrozza. The involtini definitely left its mark - crispy prosciutto wrapped around roasted red capsicum, cheese, and basil, and served with salsa verde. Fresh and bright flavours, and such a satisfying mouth feel with each bite. Now for the pizzas. With so many delicious options, it was hard to choose a favourite. The flavours were stunning, and the execution was on point. The wood-fire method resulted in beautifully thin crust, with a lightness to the dough and a hint of smokiness to it. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, so all sort of tastebuds and dietary requirements can be catered for. The desserts were just as impressive. The crispy yet soft Nutella calzone, and the light and fluffy doughnuts with custard and Nutella dipping sauce had us all enamored.

Boss Pizzeria fully met my expectations of a delicious pizza pie AND to top it off we had amazing service, friendly conversation and were treated like good friends of the owners. Real love in the food here folks! I recommend the Magherita, The Northerner, Prosecco, Italian Donuts with Nutella AND the Panacotta (do not hesitate on this one. Trust me dammit). I will be back. I pre-ordered my food for collection, the service over the phone was friendly and welcoming. I ordered two different pizzas, the baby tiger prawns and also got to sample the amazing doughnuts with the vanilla custard. Yummmmm!!! The flavours of the pizza's were delightful and the prices are very reasonable in my opinion. Take a friend or your family for a meal because there is a fantastic buzz about this place.

Boss is a gem. Everything about the place speaks to the exceptional passion for quality - ingredients, the base, the wood fire, the wines, the starters, the deserts. It's for the purist. Which is why it is fascinating to read these reviews - the curmudgeonly Herschell Renee and Harry Gabelich are particular highlights. Herschell or Renee, "flower" is the attractive reproductive part of a plant often presented in vases to liven up a dull room, while "flour" is what dough is made from. You should probably buy "flower (sic) and water" and make your own pizza if you feel that the cost of the raw ingredients is what you should pay. Your next car could be very cheap indeed on that basis as a pile of metal, plastic and rubber. And Harry, I've covered you before in my older profile which I am delighted to refresh here. I was sitting at the window that night when your mum and her friend tried to open their own bottles of wine under the table and argue about paying corkage, an event I remember well. Corkage, by the way, is " the charge made by some restaurants for allowing customers to drink wine that has been bought from somewhere else" - it is not related to the presence or absence of a cork in the bottle. Oh, and I don't recall you being at the restaurant that evening, which makes your review disingenuous.
