Best past and pizza in Melbourne. Last week I indulged in the award winning prawn linguine and was blown away. This dish was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I usually enjoy the pizzas here and they are wonderful. This restaurant is run by a lovely family and the service is second to none. Highly recommended!

Ashamed to say I’ve lived in Chelsea for three years now and never been here for food before. Only started going to this place for coffee during lockdown and although it’s not hard to find a decent coffee in Chelsea - this place is one of the best. The owner is a great bloke who always stops and has a chat and always has time to give a ‘hello’ if you’re walking past. Stopped by last night to try out their vegan pizza - completely blown away. We’ve tried a so many different vegan pizzas over the last few years and they’re either just ok - or awful. Absolutely loved the pizza. Great flavours and perfect size for two. Awesome spot too if you want to grab a pizza and go eat by the beach. Think it’s safe to say we’ll be coming back often to eat the vegan options. Only wish I wasn’t back in the office working as I don’t get the opportunity to grab a coffee from them before work. If you’re in the area I recommend stopping by. Service was great - and the missus said the young fella serving behind the counter was hilarious!

The dishes are of highest quality, and the service is utterly committed to providing the most optimal dining experience for you. I had crispy eggplant chips with balsamic reduction and garlic aioli, and it was truly the best vegetable chip combination I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve tasted a lot as a vegetarian). The pasta was so delicious. 4 of us ordered a different dish each and we asked for a spoon to ensure we got every bit of sauce!!!! YUMMY 😋. By far the BEST pizza place for miles in Chelsea! Tried here for the first time last night upon community recommendation and we were more than satisfied! Woodfire on point, real meats, perfect size, even taste just as good the day after for lunch! No sogginess either so this is huge for me! Frank and his team organised 35 magnificent pizzas for my wife’s birthday. Every single pizza was finished on the night as people loved them so much. We only ordered a few days before the event but Frank organised delivery, gave me a confirmation messages to let me know when they coming. Amazing service and customer experience. To top it all off they threw on some salads and amazing gelato too. We can’t thank them enough for making the party catering so easy and delicious! Can’t recommend more highly based on both food quality and service provided.

Cucina Dolce is a beautiful family owned and run restaurant. I went with a girl friend (Charli) and we bought food to take away and eat at the beach (egg plant chips and vegetarian pizza) and as we were eating I said to Charli, we have to go back to the restaurant and tell them how delicious this is before we leave. So we came back, and ended up talking with Freddie and his boys Maurice and Zayn (who are absolutely beautiful boys)!! It's so obvious how much this family cares about the quality of their food and connection with their community. We will be coming back here regularly! We had a wonderful meal on Saturday night. The veal scallopine, pasta aleo olio and chicken and mushroom risotto were all superb. We were three very happy customers. And even though they were take-away meals, they were piping hot, which is important. We checked into this restaurant after lot of my friends and colleagues suggested saying this is the best restaurant in Bayside. We booked a table for 8 as we had kids and neighbours joined for dinner. I have to tell you guys we had an amazing experience. Very nice family atmosphere as it is owned and operated by a family. Whole family is working hard and they are very passionate about food and service. Chefs must be very experienced and trained well as you need great skills to cook pizza’s in wood fired oven. We ordered and shared 3 pizzas( chicken avo, seafood and vegetarian) & carbonara and prawn linguine. For kids we ordered mini Ritas and kids penne. Everyone including the kids were happy and enjoyed the food. The best thing is owner of the restaurant came to our table after watching the kids and offered us complimentary desert pizza and free gelato to the kids. This is so nice of him. Not only saved money for us but also shows their passion for service. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy the great food and service. To owner: thanks very much for an amazing experience and complimentary gelatos. As an experienced food technologist I believe your business is very successful because you have Best/quality Ingredients + Nice recipe combinations + very good and passionate chefs + great service. The price tag was more expensive than expected especially if you look at its store front, so we hoped for the best that the food would come out good. The food did not disappoint us. I ordered 2 large pizzas with a tub of gelato through their website for $44. They were incredibly quick to deliver. I wish I could give them 5 stars because the pizzas were delicious. The homemade gelato on the hand, whilst it had the right texture, wasn't very nice. I think they are trying to offload the flavours no one buys. I would have chosen the flavour myself but that wasn't an option. I expected them to give me their most popular flavour like lemon or strawberry but instead got 2 flavours both of which had strong artificial flavours. Maybe caramel & watermelon, or cream brûlée & some other pink flavour. I honestly don't know. It's unfortunate because the pizzas were so good.

I started coming here for the coffee while walking the shops on a Saturday morning. Then my mother wanted pizza. We personally like thin crust and the wood fired pizza here is to our liking. We have tried a few different pizzas but our default is the bbq chicken. A few weeks ago stopped by with a friend for a late evening coffee and dessert, and was happy with the quality.

My name is Annie my husband Pete & l were looking for a real Italian pizza one that would be similar to the good old days that they had in Carlton Brunswick etc.. We came across this magnificent pizza/ pasta restaurant in Chelsea of the above name and was met with good old fashioned manners from the owner and his sons I believe their names were Freddie (Dad) Zane and Maurice . The boys telling me how great their pizzas were before I had a chance to try one.. Well they were right they were a magnificent Pizzas we tried two different ones and the were unique the base being just as good as my home made one and the topping was fresh with quality on top. It was so good we are going back to try their pasta next week which I believe is home made.. Pete & l were so impressed we are having a Christmas lunch their for our employees we have been going to the wrong places obviously and paying good money for food that was just ok... We recommend this Pizza / Pasta to anyone that loves the real food made with the the best . You will go back I assure you.. Annie

Stopped by and had a lovely late lunch on Sunday. Sat outside in the sunshine and my husband ordered a Meat Lover’s Pizza and I had the Salmon Foccacia. Both meals outstanding! Bought a couple of Gelatis here on a warm weekday afternoon whilst visiting Chelsea Beach. The Gelatis were generous serves and were good value for what we got around $6.00 for two flavours in a crispy fresh wafer cone. Quite a reasonable price for Artisan Gelati. Another store further down the street with about 20-30 flavours was selling 2 flavours for close to $10. At Cucina Dolce we tried the Raspberry, Lemon, Blood Orange and Apricot flavours. It says they are home made and they had only about a dozen flavours. The Lemon was superb, fresh and zesty on the tongue without being too sweet. The other 3 flavours were disappointing though. Very sugary and overly sweet and lacking in fruit flavour. The Apricot especially was very dissapointing with no discernible fruit flavour at all, just a tongue numbing sweetness. Texture of the Gelatis was also disappointing with a very lumpy grainy texture. Some parts hard frozen and others almost drippy soft. The restaurant looks nice inside and although the Gelatis were dissapointing I would stop in and try a meal there as the staff were friendly and helpful and the Italian menu looked interesting.

I visited last week and the service and staff were great. The desserts looked delicious and the pizza smelled divine. I just dropped in for the best smoothie this time but definitely getting desserts the next time I visit.
