R. N.Absolutely magnificent venue! My friends and I were promptly seated. The wait staff from start to finish of our booking were all beyond amazing. The food and drinks were all fantastic! Couldn't get enough of it all. Certainly worth visiting!!!

Absolutely more than fun experience to join one of their newly launched master classes - Blind Wine Tasting. We tasted 5 different wines from Pikes Wines (2 white / 2 red / 1 rose) over the course of the night paired with a delicious and fresh antipasto board. We were first given the wines to taste, jotted down some notes like colour, smell and taste etc, and then tried to guess which is which!
Also enjoyed their very refreshing White Chocolate Watermelon cocktail, best for sweettooth like us.

Flour Child has pretty quickly become one of hottest spots in St Kilda for pizza, cocktails and a good time. They do Bottomless Brunch’s every Saturday and Sunday from 12-5PM.
If booking with a group this includes a whopping 1M long ‘Party Pinsa Pizza” with a choice of up to 3 different flavours, alternatively for couples you get a pizza each. You also get 2 hours of bottomless sangria, mimosas and Prosecco Spritz, all for only $49 🤯
I really enjoy the pizza here, their italian Pinsa Romana recipe is like no other I’ve tried before. The dough is proved for 48 hours and then topped with fresh and innovative combinations. All of our selections were a hit! 🍕
Here they serve your drinks in jugs for the table, saving you going to the bar constantly. We found the sangrias to be quite weak however could definitely taste the alcohol in the Mimosa and Aperol jugs. They have such a good cocktail menu here we ended up ordering a few.🍹
Staff here are friendly and accomodating to any requirements. One person in the group was unable to drink and they happily made her mocktails instead. That’s service! 👏🏽
Personally I would return for dinner and cocktails on a weekend.

it was an absolute delightful experience and the degustation showed so much versatility!
i wasnt sure what to expect from a cheese degustation but would definitely recommend trying this masterclass and degustation out - even if you arent cheese crazy this is still such an awesome experience and really opened up my mind to the cheese possibilities!
n. l.Came for bottomless lunch for a friends birthday - the attitude of majority of the staff was pretty poor, not friendly at all and many were quite rude. Additionally, despite booking a month and a half in advance for a 2 hour bottomless brunch, we were kicked off our table and moved to couches after an hour and a half. Despite this, the drinks were good, and the pizza (despite loosing our order at one point) was good.
M. R.Their menu is mostly about pizza, but what you get is a flat bread with some cheese and stuff on the top, like literally bread dough and not pizza dough.
On the other hand staff is very nice, and venue looks great.

N. E.Nice aesthetic and drinks. Super loud for seemingly no reason. There's no dance floor yet this is as loud as most clubs. You sit down for food and drinks yet you can only hear the person next to you if you shout. Would be much better if they turned the music down a bit. Either make a dance floor or lower the volume
O. M.Above St Kilda’s Sister of Soul an amazing array of wines and drinks with a reverse bar design and massive windows the open automatically with a view of the sunset and St Kilda. Personally served by one of the owners we found the selection to be so broad it even included the hard to find Agavera Tequila Liqueur and more. The pastry to its pizzas is cooked over 48 hours hence the words 48 hours in the making over the kitchen. With a live DJ this venue is a great place to be as day turns to night.

M. C.Flour Child is so cool and stylish that it made me realise how outdated and out of touch the rest of Acland St and St Kilda is. Walking up the stairs I felt like I was in a trendy Manhattan cocktail bar, but with a beautiful view of the sunset and Luna Park rollercoaster. The open bar is a very cool idea.
The staff were friendly and made top quality cocktails. One of the highlights though was the pizza. It had a nice thin base, fresh and tasty ingredients without overdoing the toppings.
As it’s early days, there were delays with orders and the venue appeared to be understaffed. If they sort this issue out, I have no doubt that this could become one of St Kilda’s best venues for a party or fun night out.
If this is a sign of things to come, there’s hope for a revitalisation of Acland St and St Kilda.

They have big windows facing the Luna park which males the view a little bit more pleasant comparing other restaurants along Acland St.
O. K.Flour Child is a new Resto-Bar on Acland Street and has to most scenic view to offer of the beach and Luna Park.
What they specialise in Pizzas made from the Pinsa Flour which is basically of Soy, Wheat and Rice Flour (hope we have read it right on the menu)....The special type of flour that originated 2000 years ago during war.
They all have extension Bar Menu, especially wines and we loved their options of Sangrias
We tried the Rose Spritz and it was beautiful. The body, flavor and taste was perfect.
Bocca Chuosa (red base) is what we chose for Pizza as the Pizzas are classified under the White Base and Red Base.
It was fantastic !!
Service and music was just right....Suited the place. The pricing for 5his kinda resto-pub is just right....In fact not too costly.
Returning to try their other stuff.

This however didn’t matter because the Pizza was probably some of the best in st Kilda. Clearly home made bases and we got the big pizza with 3 choices on it. This was quite good value as it was huge and had premium ingredients such as Gorgonzola and great hams and salamis. We got a jug of Sangria with our meal which was also quite reasonable. Worth a visit!

What an amazing experience. The food is incredible. Cocktails and choice of beverage is extensive. Our Host was great. Attentive and informative.

J. C.Food and drinks were fantastic, however the place felt overcrowded for a 20pax inside limit due to covid restrictions. Also some staff did not seem to care so much about following the CHO's health advice; Often not wearing their masks properly or taking them off to twirl them around their fingers... people were also freely, entering the venue, getting up from their tables and wandering around maskless, management made no attempt to address this nor were they recording peoples names and phone numbers for potential contact tracing upon entry. This made my dining partners and I feel more and more unsafe as the night went on.
Police also appeared at one point however im unsure if this had any influence on managements capacity to adhere to health advice.
When we queried one employee (the mask twirler) about capacity, he bragged about getting DHHS to sign of on additional seating. I understand that it has been a tough couple of months for the hospitality industry and i get that you go into this business to turn a profit but i really shuddered at the blatant complacency of this establishment. They really run the risk of ruining it for everyone else.
Might return if they pull their fingers out.
