Honestly very impressed by the Gnocchi, it was so soft with a slight chew. The best I've found in Australia. This is a simple restaurant, dishes were tasty and very reasonably priced. Will be back!

No option to give a 3.5 star. This restaurant deserves better than 3 stars. The food was good, although it took sometime for the food to be served. They have excellent options in the lunch and express lunch menu and at very affordable prices. Their Alacarte menu also has good option. Vegetarian options are also available in pizza, pasta, and burgers. The staff was helpful and gave options to customize the dishes. Overall a good place for a quiet meal with friends or a quick working lunch.

Takeaway, as everyone is at the moment. But seriously, the freshly baked apple pie was simply the best I've tasted since childhood and the version my grandmother had been taught by her mother. Pastry, the lightest. Apples with a wonderful flavour. All under a lattice that seemed to enjoy the home made vanilla icecream as much as I did. This is my new must have dessert (... apologies for the lack of photos, too busy consuming the pie!)

What amazing staff. After a long day of work we found La Figo on Google. The restaurant had closed but reopened especially for us. Friendly efficient staff. Fabulous pizza (gourmet lamb). Highly recommended.

Family owned and operated restaurant. La-Figo is on top of my favourite restaurants when I visit Melbourne. Prices are affordable, meals are delicious, and service is good. Though place is very basic, but it is clean and more, free WiFi is available. Highly recommend.

Lovely calming atmosphere. Garlic bread was delicious. Pasta was also very tasty. Polite and kind staff. Great price and serving sizes. (P.s. there is no charge for table water despite what previous reviews mentioned. There is an option to buy bottled water)

The place has a variety of foods from burgers, pizzas, steaks, seafood, pastas and a limited choice of drinks and desserts. The staff are polite and friendly and I see them always with a smile. The pizzas are amazing. I'm never disappointed when I come here for a pizza and the price is good too. I had a spaghetti bolognese once and the sauce was a little runny and the pasta was overcooked. I had a grilled rib eye. Asked for medium well and for the most part it was cooked well but parts near the bone was medium rare. The mushroom sauce was too runny. The crumbed prawns was nice. Not too much batter but wished it came with more dipping sauce. Didnt ask for more as it was nearing the end of our dinner. The desserts doesn't taste like it was made in house but at 5 bucks per serving you can't really complain. The wait times are acceptable. Its not fast but definitely not slow either. I do recommend this place as the service was fantastic and the pizzas were amazing but the other food items I would take a pass.

On our first night back in Melbourne, we elected to go for pizza. La Figo was the closest to where we were staying and not bad reviews. We ordered the garlic panini, house special for pizza as well as the lamb option in the gourmet pizza area. The entree being (basically a garlic pizza) was probably our favourite item. I found the house special to not really live up to the name "special", was quite oily and nothing overly spectacular about it. The lamb option was a highlight, if just something a bit different and wish I'd ordered a larger one of these apart from the two different dishes. Overall it was an average experience. Nothing was particularly bad, but also nothing that would super entice our return.

Yes agree to front being too bright and in need of dimmers and candles, (cd use some traditional red check tablecloths perhaps!) but the food was good and seating area nice, but the bathroom fittings in serious disrepair and needing new floors out back so they can be cleaned. Enjoyed the garlic bread which turned out to be tasty with cheese on it. Good value for money and overall we enjoyed our visit.

Basic pizza place with very good value specials for lunch times. Highly recommend ordering a small pizza fresh rather than per slice pre made as it is a lot better fresh as usual. Weird 15c surcharge on card transactions which I wasnt too impressed about, but not like its a lot in the scheme of things. Will be back 👍

Pizza with the boys!! Me and the boys had dinner over the weekend at La Figo. We ordered 4 pizza's to share. The flaming hot pizza, Meat lovers, the Mexican and the house special. My personal favourite was the flaming hot pizza. Had all my favourite ingredients as the toppings!. It also was tooo hot. Just the right amount. Between us 3 we finished it all. Defiantly left the restaurant satisfied

The garlic bread..so much cheese..so much epic awesomeness..lol. Also tried the house special pizza and the chicken and mushroom pasta. They don't stint on toppings on the pizza and the pasta was quite decent too but that garlic bread is the star for sure.

Just picked up a special deal of a large pizza, garlic bread and 1.25ltr softie for $20. Best value meal I've had in a long time and great quality food. A gem when you re travelling on business or any time if you're local.

Went shopping with the little sister in the city yesterday and completely lost track of time. Found ourselves starving and lost!. Saw the sign for La Figo and figured why not. Interior was simple nothing to flashy. The chicken parma's that we both ordered however were really great! Super juicy chicken with a great crumb and whatever dressing they used on the salad was superb.

Small place and pizza not too bad. I ate the one with prawns and chicken and added an additional avocado for 1 dollar and it was just good! I mean, not too salty not too strong flavour.. just good balance!

Made a pair of the most delicious chicken parmigiana meals I have had the pleasure of eating and did so more than a little bit outside of their regular hours for a couple of exhausted travellers who had just reached accommodation nearby. La Figo is an oasis in the fast food desert which has reduced the city to a dining and cultural wasteland.
