So happy that Leonardo’s is serving up lockdown goodness on Saturday & Sundays. Highly recommend getting there earlier (and hungry) and trying as many items as you can. Great portions and so satisfying. I almost went back for seconds on the cheese curds. Love that there are some rotating weekend options (check their insta!) and we’ll be back soon to try more.

Chilled staff, good covid safe setup. Panuozzo was just alright...Expected it to be hot out of the oven but the dough and meatballs were lukewarm. Not super cheesey inside either, just kind of like a couple of warm meatballs with parmesan in a wrap. Definitely looks way better on instagram but on the upside the venison meatballs were quite flavourful and there is a good amount of them inside.

It’s like walking into a tavern. Good vibes and the pizza options they offer are different 👌🏼 The mozzarella stick had the satisfying cheese pull served with marinara sauce. It was so good! We ordered the mussels pasta which had a 🫑 flavour to its sauce. We also ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was delicious. A little but of everything. Instead of the BBQ sauce they use tomato. I really enjoyed the service and the food. We didn’t feel thirsty afterwards. Definitely recommend making a booking either online on their website or calling up. I would definitely be coming here again and will bring friends to

Cozy hipster bar on Carlton serving Italian dishes which focused on pizzas. Plenty of seats inside and some outside. The pepperoni pizza is generous in toppings coupled with soft base and chewy cheese. Great place to hang out but hard to find parking. Food - 7 Service - 7 Vibe - 8 Price - $$$

Really one of my favourite sit down pizza places in Melbourne. The vibe was cozy and pizzas came out quickly. Meat lovers and mushroom pizzas were a stand out. Didn’t get a chance to try the jalapeño but that’s more reason to go back.

A favourite. The rambler Chinese bolognese pizza is different but delicious. It's like bolognese sauce with five spice and Malay chilli flakes. It's a great contrast to the cheese. The Italian sausage and fennel also a stand out. They recently introduced a meatlovers which combines the two and it's not good. Keep them apart I say. They also do Melbourne bitter longnecks. Cheerful service. Old school interior (they kept the old decor).

What a place, very casual, family friendly, with even friendlier and helpful staff. Pizzas were delicious and top quality, quite large as well, defs made to be shared. They also didn’t take very long to be made. Near by street parking is available, no need for a reservation either.

The pizzas were good overall. The fennel and sausage was tasty, especially with the cheese and the herbs. However, the pepperoni had less kick than I’m used to and less flavour overall. Pizzas were huge, but pricier than most.

Atmosphere and food were great. The service was friendly but there were a few hiccups with being seated on-time. Overall good experience, will come back again.

Consistently amazing Pizza at Leonardos. Do yourself a favour and bring a big appetite. They have some awesome classic choices like Margarita, Pepperoni etc alongside some gorgeous gourmet pizzas like Chinese Bolognese (don't knock it untill you've tried it) and all tied together by great staff. Also I can say that these guys do comfortably one of the best frozen pina colada's I've ever tasted.

We are repeat customers at this place for sure. And after multiple orders and repeats, I figured it was time to leave a review. First off, thank goodness my husband doesn't use dipping sauce, because the homemade ranch is amazing and I get it all to myself for the delicious pizza. Secondly, I am not vegan, nor vegetarian, but the broccolini salad is one of my most favourite things to eat... ever. The macadamia cream is absolute magic.

Melbs def has a few good pizza joints and Leonardo’s in Carlton is one of the best. We usually sit outside- even in winter when it’s bloody cold, but they have cosy blankets for the cold knees. My absolute fave pizza- and no one else does it is: the fresh Jalapeño with a white sauce, pickled jalapeños and fermented peppers. I adulterate it with pineapple. Yes, ‘fraid so, but you can just have it without. It’s an incredible pizza, because it’s very juicy, spicy and simply unctuous.

Yum! Soul of Pizzeria resides here. Eat a whole pizza even when not hungry - soooo good! Pizzas are bigger than most other similar style joints - 8 slices makes sense for the size vs 6 at other places. Quality crust & quality ingredients. Oh and comes with Ranch dipping sauce...whaaat! Best Pizza in Carlton!! This is the second time we have visited and we left feeling all warm and fuzzy! The restaurant has a really warm, dim and romantic feel to it. Friendly staff and good food. I found the pasta servings small for the price that you pay. Pizzas are good and I like the aioli sauce that it comes with to dip your crusts in. Nice atmosphere. First of all, I love this place. Great food, great drinks, staff that are surprisingly on the ball considering how packed it gets. But a warning: this is more bar than restaurant. It is LOUD. Go for the pizza, the music, the friendly clientele, the cool humans you'll meet in the ladies room. Do not go if you want a quiet chat or a lovely sit down. Shout out to the staff who squeezed us in with no booking on a Friday. You lot are grouse.

I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe at Leonardo's - it is a chilled out, welcoming bar but don't be mistaken - their wine list is amazing and their food is delicious. Their speciality is pizzas and they serve them until 1am. The mortadella pizza was on special and it was my favourite. They probably put a bit too much sauce for my liking, but a good meal nonetheless. Swing by for a late night meal!
