A local favourite!! This hidden gem offers up the best traditional slice in North Melb. If your sick of the fancy overpriced "pizza" and want a good old fashioned crust with lots of fresh toppings and gooey cheese this is your place! So cheap, made fresh to order in 15mins and yummy. There are a lot of pizza places around that deliver but I'll take a walk to Papas any day! The Giuseppe's Special is my fav!

For 10 bucks a large pizza with your choice of several topping. I can honestly not complain. The pizza is not amazing, but it's not terrible either. It holds its own. Very average. But again, $10. Other pizza shops have better pizza, but are double the price.

Great value and tasting pizza. Order around least 20 mins in advance. They also have gluten free options. Great to order from. The actual seating is not the best, often hot, but there is always space. I would be starving/dead without this place

This is a decent neighborhood pizza joint. No frills, quick service but the clincher is the excellent value. $10 for a large and $8 for a medium. Ridiculous really and the pizza quality is well above what one could expect at the price.

Remember when you were a kid, and Mum said “We’re having pizza for dinner!” And you were excited because you could have your own whole pizza with whatever you wanted on it? 30 mins later you get your pizza and oh man, it’s hot and greasy and tastes amazing. Then the next morning you could have leftover pizza for breakfast, maybe even lunch if you stole some leftover Hawaiian from your sister’s box. You didn’t realise this because you were just a kid, but the reason you got your whole pizza was because it was from the cheap pizza shop and all the ingredients pretty much taste the same. So your parents could afford to get you all your own pizza. These days “fancy” pizzas cost $25+ and most are average at best. Papa Giuseppe isn’t aiming to be fancy. It’s the cheap pizza shop your parents went to when you were a kid. Perfectly average in every way and it’s brilliant. Nothing better than curling up on the couch with a greasy pizza box steaming on your lap, a beer or soft drink on the arm rest and trying to decide what your next Iso movie marathon is going to be. I love this place, don’t change!

One of the best, affordable pizza places in town. Love that they have a wide range of vegetarian options unlike most places! The staff has always been friendly to us and very efficient. Lacking of a delivery option is maybe the only drawback. However! It doesn’t affect the rate. Recommended!

Not a date-night pizza, but a mid-week pizza for when I just need a pizza. Cheese is grilled nicely (under-grilled cheese is a pet peeve of mine), and there's plenty of the stuff to be found. Pizzas have been consistently well constructed and the flavour on-point for this type of pizza. Highly recommended!

Do not let the mediocre look of this place deceive you. This place is unbelievable. One dude manning the phones, taking orders, preparing pizzas, manning the oven, boxing them up. Papa G is literally a one man pizza store and his pizzas are DOPE. $10 larges are the best. Try the garlic chicken. Boom.

I've tried a quite few Pizza places in North Melbourne. But by the gods I wish I had found this place sooner. I'll now be getting all my pizza from here. Not only is the price, variety and quality great, but it's always got a good coverage of ingredients - most importantly for me, the cheese!

Let me preface this review with an explanation - in my world there are 2 kinds of Pizza. First there is "proper" Italian pizza, then there is "dirty" Aussie pizza. I am partial to both depending on my mood. This is dirty Aussie pizza at it's finest, cheap, quick and generous with the toppings. A no frills place but great VFM. Just remember, you're not in Napoli!
