Last week we had the best Italian dinner @stdomenicorichmond where their pizzas, pastas and anti pasto entree everything just made our tastebuds satisfied and content. What we had: We started off with an aperol spritz and a limoncello spritz, both were so extremely refreshing to drink. For an entree, we had the antipasto board with three types of cured meats, rocket, three types of cheese, pickle and biscotti. Everything was so fresh and perfectly balanced in this board. The cured meats were of best quality and so were the cottage cheese, cheddar and blue cheese. Next we had a seafood pasta, that was immensely flavourful, tasty and so addictive in taste. The light taste of the pasta balanced so well with the perfectly cooked seafood like prawns and mussels. Highly recommended. Also we had a mushroom pizza with truffle and leg ham. Oh my this one is so perfect for truffle lovers. The thick intense taste of truffle laced with the cheese and the thin crusted pizza is so incredibly yum. This one is definitely a must try. For sides, we had Italian potatoes, more like thick wedges of potatoes deep fried and laced with herbs, tasted so crispy and delicious. Also this place has a lovely ambiance and a giant portrait of St. Domenico adorns the wall of the restaurant. The prices of the items are very standard but they do lot of weekly specials as well. So guys checkout this lovely Italian spot @stdomenicorichmond this week with friends of family to have an unforgettable and an awesome Italian feast.

St Domenico is a small and cozy restaurant in Richmond specializing in signature Napoletana-style woodfired pizzas and handmade pasta. They have a very extensive menu with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. I visited with my friend who is allergic to tomatoes, but it wasn’t an issue at all since there were heaps of pizza bianca/white pizza options. I tried their Romana Pizza, which had a deliciously rich and smoky woodfire flavour, with that distinct slightly charred crust. It was a generous size too. The Gnocchi Pesto was perfectly soft and pillowy, with a silky-smooth texture that made it such a delight to eat. Highly recommend St Domenico if you’re looking for the perfect date night spot with fun vibes and great food! 💃🍕

I only knew about Bottomless Brunch but heard St Domenico offers Bottomless Gnocchi so me and my friend had to check it out afterwork the other night. This bottomless gnocchi is only available on Tues - Thurs. On the night we got: - Aperol Spritz - Limoncello Spritz - Gnocchi alla sorrentina - Gnocchi napoli - Gnocchi gorgonzola Loved their handmade gnocchi and I would say probably some of the best in Melbourne. The venue offers takeaway services as well as dine-in. Perfect for date-night or just a casual get together with mates or family. Tasty food with great service, what more would you want. Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu!

A true gem on Bridge Road, we visited St Domenico on a thursday night and they were busy. There was a good range on their menu and they specialized in Napoletana style pizza. We had the Antipasto, pesto gnocchi and the pizza special and really enjoyed it. Their cocktails were great too and its a perfect spot for amazing Italian food. They do bottomless gnocchi's on tuesday, wednesday and thursday nights.

A taste of fabulous Sicilian food and great hospitality The establishment has been refurbished. The owner makes you feel welcome. You can have pizza and next time I will, but instead my wife and I had a gnocchi and salad. The portions are generous. The flavours and texture are remarkably good. I am impressed how the Italian kitchen is developing in Melbourne, St Domenico is the best example of italian pizza-restaurant that offers real and traditional Italian cuisine! I went at St Domenico with a group of friends and the manager accommodated us making us feel at home We shared some pizzas and some pastas which my favourite one was the gorgonzola cream and walnuts gnocchi. Ordered yesterday by phone. 50 minutes for 2 take away pizzas, i was saying to myself "are these people serious"? I went to see myself what was going on as i live nearby. The restaurant had all the available seats occupied inside and outside. There was a coming and going of people and drivers picking up orders. I couldn't believe. I waited outside for my order which was a patate pizza and a salami to be ready. Quite punctual, 2 minutes delays! Oh man, what a pizza!!! Best i ever had in my life, potatoes perfectly cooked and bacon crispy and tasty, the dough is soft in the middle with crispy big edges. Perfect italian style. I can't wait to dine in next week for our pizza night.

Apparently annoyed Uber drivers are leaving fake reviews because they are annoyed at being told to wait outside. The pizza at St Domenico is absolutely fantastic. We have ordered from them for years and have never had a bad pizza. It’s probably the most authentic wood fired pizza in Richmond. We generally walk down to pick up ourselves now. Better to support a local business than a huge corporation that doesn’t pay drivers or restaurants fairly.

I'm surprised with some of the reviews here. Our experience was really good. The waiter was very attentive and the place was clean and inviting. We both got pizzas and they were delicious with fresh produce for toppings. Oizza basebwas thin but what you'd expect from a wood fired pizza. Could potentially be perceived as a bit expensive however I thought it was fine. Will most likely give it another shot and try the pasta next.

We decided to have a go last evening after having heard a new owner is involved (we avoided the restaurant in the last 2 years because of the previous boss rudeness). Place has been revamped and atmosphere and vibes are great. If you don't like traditional italian style pizza you better don't walk in and go somewhere else.Top toppings and soft thin dough, our carbonara was also very tasty and "aldenti". We were about to leave when the waiter came with a free calzone nutella "for the pleasure of having us for dinner" he said. This people really know how to look after customers. I am not used to leave reviews but this place really deserves one. I literally live 3 minutes away from st domenico but after a really bad experience in 2018 i have been always happy to drive somewhere else for italian food or pizza because the shop was used to be run in the past by a bunch of incompetent and arrogant people with a lousy attitude and racist behaviour. I heard around about a new management and new ownership and i popped in last night for a meal with my sister. The place was busy in a rainy night which really suprised me. Such a different experience...Positive energy, great atmosphere and the new owner is a real italian gentleman. My gnocchi pesto was delightful and the tartufo pizza, which we have been told is now made with sour dough, simply outstanding. Grazii and Ciao. We will study a bit of Italian before coming back next week!

Absolutely delicious antipasto platter, and the wood fired pizza was a beautiful traditional Italian experience. The waiters were helpful and really nice.
