Pizza is good, but please put more cheese! We have bought 22" Pizza many times and often there is only the shadow of the cheese. The cost is $50. The last one bought today with extra cheese paid, there is less cheese than a normal one... I have already said this to the staff, but it seems that they don't consider my complaint...

Tonight, my dining partner and I went to Mack Daddy's New York Slice (560 Beaufort St, Mount Lawley). I always wanted to visit Mack Daddy's, but their old venue was tiny and always packed. Early last year, they moved into their current residence, a few doors up Beaufort Street, and it's far bigger. Now featuring a full bar, funky decor and a spacious dining room, Mack Daddy's has a great NY theme and thumping hip hop tunes. We had a friendly welcome and shown to our table. We found they had a $40 couples special, featuring a 16 inch pizza, a side and two drinks of your choice. We ordered the Garlic Pizza Bread and Big Poppas for entree, and Big Cheese Pizza (Mozzarella, Romano, Blue Cheese and Bocconcini on tomato sauce base). For drinks, we had the chocolate milkshake and house Red wine. The Poppas were amazing, chock full of Monterey Jack cheese in big fat Jalapeños. Man they were hot! The garlic pizza bread was fascinating; it's similar to the garlic twist you get at Bakers Delight, but with way more garlic and comes with Olive Oil and Balsamic as a dipping sauce. Now, onto the pizza. We had the 16 inch, which is the smaller of the two sizes (the other is a massive 22 inches). The base immediately gave away that it isn't wood fired; even though the cooking of the base and crust was completely even, it still had a good taste given the thin NY style base. The cheese slices were a bit hit and miss - I love the blue cheese, so I had to really hunt for it, but that's how a three or four cheese pizza works. Having stayed in Brooklyn and walked from pizza joint to pizza joint, I can say with some authority that Mack Daddy's would fit right in. Thanks for a nice evening with great service and good NY style pizza.

We loved the pizza! And couldn't help ourselves as the variety of sides available were amazing. We had the mozerella cheese sticks, loaded potato skins and coleslaw Cheese sticks were perfect. Stretchy cheese and easy batter fried to perfection, topped with a lovely tomato dip. Loaded potato skins was generous with the bacon and crisp skin with sour cream and spring onions Thought that the coleslaw was a bit too heavy on the onions. But the dressing was perfect. Wasn't too much Mayo that made you feel uneasy. Lovely pizza - hot, made to order, thin crust, and generous toppings! What more can you possibly ask for. We will definitely be back :)

Had the bottomless brunch - great pizza! Cocktails started off good, but about halfway through they really slowed down, avoided taking orders from our table and started fairly obviously watering down the cocktails. Don't offer a bottomless brunch if you don't want people to actually use it!

First time going. Looks to be a super popular place. Service is great, food is amazing too! Only down side would be is that is is so loud inside just from everyone talking, which can't really be helped I suppose, go at opening time if you're wanting a little quiet as at around 5:45/6pm is when everyone started coming in. I went in with some friends who recommended I try it out. The pizzas are quite large & very tasty. We had x2 pizzas between 3 of us & we still had left overs. Obviously they use good ingredients because we all felt fine after eating quite alot, not the usual heavy feeling after pizza. Great atmosphere & experience. I will definitely come back.

Great for sharing and decent on portions - in terms of quality I’d say its average - i visited a few months ago and the venue was kinda understaffed, saw kitchen staff coming out to clean and bring pizzas - not sure if thats the norm, if so that its my mistake but my Lower rate is more toward rather below average taste of pizza. Not what I usually recommend.

The service at this place with the manager, Justin, is second to none. It is without a doubt the pizza here, for us, is one of the best in Perth. The pizza dough is perfect … hard to find dough that is not too thick and not crispy. We’ve missed the pizzas in New York so it is great to see that we have the same nostalgic eating experience here in Perth.

Ever tried seven boozless expresso martinis? I have bow traveled back in time to write this review so that future paat generations know what they are in for. Everybody knows the pizza is terrific, even if they're all a little oily sometimes. But let talk about the Mozzarella Sticks and Jalapeno Poppers for two seconds.. They were out of this world! The Mozzarella sticks were fresh, perfect temperature of liquid cheese inside, but didn't scold our mouth or burn our souls like some liquid cheese. The crumbed Jalapeno Poppers were ridiculous! Just terrific all round. Service was A+, too. Good going Mack Daddy's!

Not traditional Italian Style pizza by any means, but instead New York Style giant pizzas. Pizzas here are delicious, and the staff are super nice. Definitely worth a visit if you're crusing down the Beaufort Street strip.

Pizza is great no questions about it. Nice casual pizza joint which is family friendly and spacious. Be aware: There is no heating in the space and the door is left wide open. Asked stuff about the heat strip heaters around the place and they said they were speakers. Bring your puffer jackets and you will be fine! We froze on a cold winters night.

Nice new pizza joint with some quirky names and good service from the staff. The novelty of a huge pizza is cool, but the quality was just satisfactory, for that kind of money I'd expected pretty quality toppings. I didn't see anything special about their pizza which made me want to go back again and again. Also I wasn't a fan of the rap music playing along all night, but that's just me. Check it out, have a giant pizza with some funny names, but I would be surprised you hurry to go back.

Came across Mack Daddys while on a trip to Perth. Went in, sat at a table and chose a pizza off the very broad menu. I ordered a cocktail and while making, the bartender was more then happy to chat. All staff were friendly and the pizza was delicious!

The pizzas there are to die for. But if you have sensitive ears I recommend having headphones because they have loud music playing. Also you will need quite an appetite for this place cos you would not believe the size of the pizzas they serve. They stretch across the tables both sides and one of these is enough to feed at least four people.

Definitely worth the visit, pizzas are huge and from what I had tasted really good

If I could choose how to die it would be from overload of Mack Daddy's Pizza, the boozy Sunday Pizza brunch is so worth it and hope its here to stay. It starts a little slow with getting your first drink and nibbles 30mins into the two hour window, however it picks up and leaves you only with a tight pants problem when you leave.

Shared the huge 22" between two guys. We ate it all... just. Delicious juicy cheesy pizza. The baller was devine. Too oily but in a good way. Would go again. The tables were a bit too small for the giant pizzas and I had no room to eat on my plate. It's also very noisy and cramped in the front due to the popularity. Another Beaufort street restaurant you must visit.

Could use some sound dampening panels as it is a large echo-y space and even only half full, you could barely talk and music was just muffled so not a pleasant place to sit and chat. We love pizza so last week we went to try Mack Daddy's Honky pizza. It's a winner! Mack Daddy is a fairly small pizza restaurant, but they have New York style massive 22 inch pizza that can feed 5 people and 16 inch pizza for 3. They also have the vegetarian option. The service was good and the staffs were friendly. Take away is also available. Lovely interior design with superb music. Reservation is available for a group of 6 - 12 people. The place was cozy and they also have outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend this place. It's worth a visit if you're up for some greasy delights.

On the 26th of July for my birthday we booked this place. There were a lot of people in the restaurant but staff moved quickly and efficiently taking orders being attentive. Mack Daddy's is simple and tasty. The dining area is a little small but most people get take away. They have a decent range of toppings and are happy to mix them up. Went to the new venue on a Saturday night at 10.30pm. We were starving and the idea of having some Mack Daddy's pizza was exciting. The venue was relatively empty yet we waited too long to place an order. We just didn't leave because we were very hungry and our enthusiasm just disappeared and ruined our mood for the rest of the night. Pizza was ok though but I will directly go to HJ next time I need a late night bite.

Mack Daddy's never miss. Visited for a Boom Radio promotional event and I was sceptical at first about the meatbox pizza, too many chips would have ruined it, BUT this fine establishment pulled through and I could not be happier. 5 stars.

The pizza was pretty good there and the slices are huge. Staff was very friendly too. I gave it 3 stars because of the set up. As an American, seeing establishments like this is cringey and cliche to me. Let me explain. The layout of the place is decked out with New York/California hip hop themes that just seem corny. Because it's New York slices, they just posted some Biggie Smalls lyrics on the wall and a picture of him. Things like that can found throughout the place. There's lights strung about with shoes (Chuck Taylor's) hung on them. I'm from a rough area in Long Beach, California. Shoes hung on a line represent/indicate where someone was murdered or where you can buy/sell drugs. So it's strange to see that as a design focus... The interior designer must've just thought it was Cool or something, but didn't consider how it comes off as tasteless. It just felt very culture vulture-ish.

I come here quite often because the pizza is amazing, but there's been 2 or 3 times when i have come and the service has been pretty dismal. One time i went with my partner and we waited over an hour for our pizza which didnt end up coming and multiple people came after us and got their pizza first we ended up leaving that time without eating we were so hungry. Last time was only a week ago i went with my friend we waited an hour and a half they told us there was a mix up and gave us mozzarella sticks to tide us over we were very close to leaving ot was frustrating seeing other people get their food when they arrived after us the staff ignored us for a while until we had to ask where our pizza was...

Parking is sometimes is tricky in the area, i generally find a spot around just off the Beaufort street.
