Pretty good. Not the absolutely best one, but nice taste, friendly and quick service. (Franky) Pizza dough was a little bit too dry in my opinion, and (pesto) pasta was good, but a little tiny something seemed to be missing, maybe just a bit more pepper and salt. Would give 4.5 stars.

Really yummy authentic pizza and lovely family business. Can get quite busy, especially when making a booking so prepare to be on the phone for a bit. In my experience, I found the pizza to be better when dining in as opposed to getting takeaway. They also don't charge a cakage fee if you want to bring your own cake which I have discovered to be quite rare these days!

Currently sits in my top 2 of gluten-free pizzerias in Perth, a bit far from The Canteen in Cottesloe, but ahead of Maruzella. They have clearly improved the recipe, and BYO is a compliment to the amazing food. Keep doing what you're doing. The pizza in the photo is gluten-free.

Pizza shop with own desserts!!!!!!! Head smash emoji.. Probably one the best pizza places in Perth, hand made pasta and my god the panacotta is to die for. Not many restaurants pack punch in deserts space and this place defines what quality food, good service and delicious. Have taken heaps of friends here and these guys defiantly have a secret recipe. They are always busy and doing great.

My Italian from who is from the north part of Italy recommended me to go to this place for pizza. Indeed the pizza didn’t disappoint me and my other friend. Words are not enough to explain how good the pizzas and salad were. Definitely will go back again and try other dish. Highly recommend this place and the best is to book as they were very busy even on a Wednesday night. Also, the staff were very friendly and polite. My friend booked a table for two nights after and still only outside tables available. There were some blankets available for outdoor seating.

If I could give 6 stars I would have! We ordered - pizza: Milliano, Al, Foro; pasta: Pesto, Aglio Oglio, Carbonara - LOVED THEM ALL. I know the photos I sent in are terrible, but it’s because it was so delicious we started eating before we could take nice photos lol Also, food service is soooo quick! Didn’t have to wait long at all. Remember to book if you plan to come :) it’s a hot spot!

The food here really IS good... to the extent you WOULD recommend it to others ... there is a "special something" in how it is made which has it taste uniquely Deee lish !! What's not to love about this place... friendly staff, super-fast service, awesome pizza, blankets for outdoor dining, delicious cannoli. First time visit tonight... the Al, Diablo and Margherita flavours were so tasty and the sliced Italian sausage for entree was served quickly and with a smile. I don't understand the negative reviews bc we experienced nothing but pure joy here. Simple pizzas done really well.

Great pizza the dough was nice and supple and the flavours all melded nicely. The lamb skewers are terrific too. The place is small and a little crowded but it's part of the ambiance and the noise level never got too overwhelming.

Always good authentic pizzas the way it should be. Carbonara pasta are also to another level. Lots of staff to deliver fresh food, compare to useless teenager at Domino pizza, so price is a reflection of the quality. Down part is the restaurant layout... it s very noisy inside with a bit annoying music or outside with a busy four lanes road.

The pizza, the salads, the service and staff were faultless. The atmosphere was fantastic..... only one negative was the noise, lots of happy chatter but it resonated and you could hardly hear yourself speak, so everyone talked louder. I will be back because I still loved everything about this place.

Great pizza and even better pasta (truffle carbonara). Really nice ambiance with outdoor and indoor seating. Staff were very friendly as well. Casual style order at the counter and collect your own cutlery and glasses but very nice and relaxed. BYO for a $5 corkage charge.

Awesome pizza and pasta. We ordered pan fried haloumi, milliano pizza, Foro pizza and the parpadelle carbonara. The pizza was great but the parpadelle was the best dish. You'll want to book because it's not a big restaurant and it's packed. Can be a bit noisy inside. Staff are friendly.

Had a perfect meal. carbonara and a pizza were amazing. pasta and the pizza dough were next level. Flavour was very balanced. I was not aware of BYO so i had my dinner without wine which was a bit sad but i will visit again with a bottle next time. Hightly recommended

Great pizza place with really good pizza. My wife had the gluten free pizza and it was hard for me to distinguish the difference. They do charge 5 dollars more for the large gluten free but if you are intolerant, it's worth it. We ended up going twice on our 3 day stay in Perth. Most of their pizza's are around 24 dollars for a large one which is enough food for one person. They do not sell any wine but if you can bring your own and only pay 5 dollars extra for that. Look at my 2 posted pictures and see if you can tell which one that is gluten free😀😉👍

Very independent style of pizza restaurant, down to earth and homely. I visited with 6 friends on a book club night, so ended up sitting outside on a balmy evening to be able to hear each other! Quite noisy inside, but the sort of noise that says everyone is enjoying themselves. The pizzas arrived very quickly and at the same time, and their mouthfeel and taste brought no complaints from this diner. I wanted vegan, and this was happily and easily accommodated with double sauce in lieu of cheese. BYO drinks, as there is no bar or wine available in this smallish room. Happy with this experience. Marked down a bit because of the noise, but that was the only fault.

Very busy. There's street parking on Grantham, or on Jersey St. You can boom a table but you need to place your order at the counter, and it is self service for plates, cutlery, glassware. They will serve your pizzas to the table. Staff behind the counter are lovely. Food was delicious. Look out for specials posted on pillar near counter.

Very disappointed. We’ve been trying to book a table for so long that we assumed this place was absolutely the best pizza in Perth as few reviews said. It’s not. If you’d like to pay a visit to this average pizza restaurant, I’d recommend to book a table and ask for one inside and if possibile away from the door - which is always open. Pizza was ok, nothing special and definitely not the best in Perth. So disappointed. Good deep fried halloumi, arrosticini are pretty much ok but again, there are better place where to try them. Absolutely a no for desserts, we tried basically all of them, tiramisu is may the only one to try. Happy to have try this place so now I can definitely say it’s not the best pizza in Perth. Definitely fresh ingredients, quick service and a good pizza but not what I was expecting after reading other reviews.

Service was easy and surprisingly fast especially for how many orders were queued in front of us. Building isn't large enough to hold the demand for seating - this has been a constant case throughout my experiences with Monstrella Pizza Last year, I visited multiple times and the pizza was consistently excellent - 8/10. On my recent visit, the quality of the pizza has since decreased and I would only rate it a 6/10.

So it’s really 3.5 stars. Nice wood fired pizza place, busy both with eat in & takeaway. As a larger group we were placed at a table outside & it’s very close to the road (with no enclosure/barrier, so feels quite exposed at night). I ordered the mela pizza, which had a lovely base but was bland & we couldn’t taste or see any eggplant (compared to the zucchini). Needed seasoning & a bit of chilli, garlic & other herbs/spices would’ve helped. The meat pizzas seemed to deliver more flavour. The broccolini side was delicious (with a good combo of chilli & lemon), as was the panzanella. My nieces report that the chocolate cannoli was ‘yum’. Service was average - we had to chase up one missing pizza & broccolini dish, & were not attended after our dishes were delivered. An all round nice enough place, but choose dishes with strong flavours.

I love sitting outside on a balmy night at this modern Italian restaurant enjoying some wine and their amazing pizza. It is always bustling with an atmosphere that makes me feel like I am in Italy. We enjoyed their "Hunter" pizza lastnight with Salami, Prosciutto, Italian Sausage, Fior Di Latte Cheese & Smoked Mozzarella on the most amazing tomato sauce & base. I love that their pizzas are not crammed with toppings making them feel lighter without compromising the taste. Top quality.

Perhaps one of my top pizza places in Perth. Make sure you make a reservation and pizzas are best enjoyed on premise. Thin crust, perfectly baked, good flavor combinations, and relaxed vibes. My favourite Italian in Perth. To have this as our local is just the best, the food is always amazing and the staff are great. For me the Miliano and crudo pizza are a must, the truffle pappardelle and spaghetti and meatballs are incredible as well as the panzanella salad. We tryed out the pizza here. Not special unlikely we will go back. Seems a Napoli style pizza with soft crust, but smaller, shrink after the baking, and the tomato passata is not properly seasoned. The ingredients are good so it is a bit a pity. I would say it is an Australian-italian interpretation of a pizza.

The first time we went Monsterella was astonishingly good, 5 stars: great atmosphere and service and was the best pizza experience ever, especially the wonderful gluten free base (and it still is the best pizza place we've eaten at, based on that experience). The second time around the pizzas were still superb, but the atmosphere was really spoiled by the overly loud R&B music. Maybe it kept the kitchen grooving along, but we found it much too loud and left without giving the pizzas the lingering time they deserved. So only 3 stars for the second visit, making the average 4 stars, and we won't be hurrying back. [Update: We did go back, with a couple of other families, and had a great evening. So back up to 5 stars 😊]

Came in for dinner last night the restaurant started packing up around us while we were still seated, chairs were placed ontop of tables without any mention to us (and one other remaining table) that it was time to go, we felt very uncomfortable. I realise you have a closing time but the polite way to treat customers is to let them know you are closing instead of making them read between the lines while you close up around them. Another disappointing Perth hospitality experience.

Pros: Good selection on menu even if some of the ingredients require a quick google translate 😅, the food is impeccable and the wait times are favourable, ordered 7 pizzas and pasta and received all, at once, warm and within 20 minutes, staff are helpful and responsive without being overbearing in the slightest, table arrangement is nice, not too close to other tables. Food is tasty, warm and cooked perfectly , lots of flavour and well made. Toilets available and outside seating. Cons: could do with a few standard style soft drinks on the menu ( Sprite, Coca Cola, etc) 10/10 would recommend for single eating, date night or a family takeout, ring in advance due to COVID-19 requirements for booking.

Top quality ingredients with authentic Italian cooking, this pizza is the best to be found for miles around. I will generally go out of my way and wait a substantial amount of time just to taste. Monsterella has a warm cozy interior, a fresh Mediterranean style and welcoming staff that know all about what they're clearly in love with themselves.

Exceptional Authentic pizza! Love the pizza here and for those of you who are gluten intolerant you’re in for a treat, as in my personal opinion Monsterella has the best gluten free pizza base I’ve ever had anywhere. Really excited upon hearing someone was attempting woodfired pizza in Wembley and was blown away on many levels. The pizza - traditional and what I remember when in Italy. The choice - gourmet yet rustic at the same time. Great vibe and so very kid-friendly that I've been recommending it to all families in the area. The third time I was offered a free gluten free pasta which is nice, but the frequency of the occurrence is what prompts me to write this review. It's all about the food. Under the banner of a neighbourhood pizzeria hides a wonderful selection of Italian food. Of course there's spaghetti, but not like your mom made - unless she's from Italy - then there's traditional street food, haloumi, olives, and service with a smile. Orders come out quickly, even when the place is packed to the rafters. On a hot summer day, spare a thought for the staff standing right next to the wood fired oven. In winter it's no doubt the place to be. There's seating outside and people coming and going from far and wide. It gets very noisy inside if there's a group, so don't expect a romantic tete-a-tete under candle light. Solid offering, reasonable pricing, recommended.

This excellent Italian pizza restaurant opens early for dinner, specialising in handmade pastas (and pizza of course). It is very popular and quite small so a table reservation is a good idea, of course you could order your pizzas and take them home or if you're lucky enough to live locally they deliver (locally). Popular place. We went on a Friday evening and luckily we had made a booking. Seems very well organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Food came out in no time despite the place being cramped. Self-service for water/napkins/cutlery and counter service might not be for everyone as it gives it more of a takeaway/fast food feeling but we didn't mind it. The pizza dough was amazing. Probably one of the best I've tasted. We had the hunter pizza which was suberb. I found the mushroom/parmesan/truffel pizza could have had a bit more flavor due to mushrooms making it taste a bit watery. That would be my only criticism. Entrees were yummy as well. The place was rustic and felt like I was back in Italy. No fuss. Just good food. The pizza was fantastic and the small bowl of pasta delicious. Some minor observations that could make it better. We are Italian, we know what 240 grams of pasta looks like. Pasta dish was small. As Abruzzese we grew up with arrosticini grilled over hot coals. What we got was a very expensive lamb steak on a stick. I was really looking forward to it but disappointed. We will go back for pizza and pasta. Thank you.

Had wanted to go for months. Finally got a chance last night and was not disappointed. Pizzas were absolutely delicious. Ordered some salads and was absolutely blown away by how tasty they were. The place is very casual, family friendly and the staff very friendly. Love it. Will be back for sure.
